Roberto's.....this place reminds me of a restaurant chain up in the PNW called 'Muchas Gracias'. Pretty much the same business model that serves fast 'authentic' Mexican food. Compared to Taco Bell and Chipotle (never been a fan), it does in my opinion, but wouldn't go beyond that. Is it just me or does it seem a lot of these restaurants are located in the sketchiest areas of town? I will say mine is which is located in a strip mall next to a Dotty's on the corner of Nellis and Vegas Valley Blvd. Great for people watching, though. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to add popcorn to their menu! Just kidding, don't! In the last 3 years or so that I've lived in Vegas, I've ordered and eaten from this place several times...and it all has been pretty subpar, really. Not horrible but not great to any stretch of the imagination. It's simply just edible to me. This last visit was ok. Ordering was a bit clumsy as there was sort of a language barrier between the order taker and I but managed through. Tried tipping but it's cash only. I paid by card. Ordered a few tacos and a side of beans. The order came out to $20. Originally, I thought a bit steep in price but these tacos are massive at $5 a piece. 2 of them filled me up. Aside from the meat (asada & carnitas) it comes with guacamole and pico de gallo. Unfortunately, the meat was pretty dry and really didn't have any flavor. Quality is questionable. Possibly due to the watery-ness of the pico drowning out the flavor. Beans were good and helped the tacos go down easier. For the price point, I mean, the tacos are huge and I made 2 meals out of it. In that regard, it's solid. Just lacks everything else, really. Honestly, a place like this would be optimum for the stoned and inebriated individuals that could care less how anything tasted and still walk away with a few bucks. I love Roberto's I will always be the first In line, but never for this location. I come to this location because it's most convenient to me but sometimes when I come they're closed. Which is confusing to me when their website says open and then so does their sign in the front of the store. This location is supposed to be 24/7 as they claim but I've been here multiple times and I've been turned away about 5 times because they are "closed". Change your hours online or turn off your "OPEN" sign. read more

I usually come in here after work I work swing shifts so it can be really late. Usually we never have any issue but today the guy here refused to let my dog in for a to go order which I understand if I was eating here but I wasn't and he was extremely rude and on his phone the entire time I was here. Usually my food here is decent. So, I got a carne asada plate and for the second time half of the meat was some nasty pieces of fat with hard pieces and tunnels. Disgusting! The food quality has been bad for awhile . The service is bad and whoever answers the phone to take orders is rude and doesn't seem to care if you order your food a certain way . They will make your order however they feel like it . If you call ahead of time for an order and they tell you it will be ready in fifteen minutes don't believe it . Every time I've gone to this location I've been given great service. Even though there's a very large pane of glass between you and the person in the kitchen they do their best to make sure that you're happy with what you're getting and understand how long it's going to take you to get it. I've only ever walked out without ordering once and that was because they were very clear with me that it would be about a 30-minute wait and I appreciate them for that As far as the food is Roberto's if you've been to Roberto's before you know what it's like. It's certainly not the best Mexican food but it does the trick and it's a better quality than a Taco Bell that you're going to get. One is my favorite places to stop off for a burrito is Roberto's. They have several locations around town and each one can be so different from the next on how they prepare the food. It's really a roll of the dice if you're trying a new location. This was one of those times. I normally do not go to this location. When I walked it the place was filled with smoke. Seemed like something had burned. I ordered a carne asada burrito with no pico. Burrito was ok not the best. There wasn't any big pieces of meat it was the small pieces that almost seem like the last bit and the burrito was long but super skinny. I won't be going back to this location. read more

Awful customer service. My wife order for pickup online and went to the wrong location. Instead of kindly telling her she was at the wrong location, the cook came out to yell at her and ON TOP OF THAT CALLED HER RETARTED and continued to say rude things to her in Spanish as if she wouldn't understand. My wife had a rough day already, there was no need to yell at her and make her cry . Super upset at this location. This honestly was unacceptable since we both work in the food industry. Each time I come in here the guys are super friendly.. Tonight however was a little different. The cashier that's working has one glove on, which he handles the money, went outside next door to the PTs Pub then came back in with the same glove on and proceeded to the kitchen.. Wow went there today and all i wanted was a tamale Ok so no rice and beans so fine two tamales. The guy taking our orders was an idiot. He acted like we were stupid because Im guessing English is now the second language in Vegas. Tamales weren't on the menu board. Worst burrirotos I've EVER gotten!! Ordered breakfast bacon burrito and was informed, after ordering and waiting that they didn't have the potatoes and wanted to add fries! WTF I don't want fries in my breakfast burrito so I tell them "no" and get chicken knowing they are great! I have some buddies that came up this weekend to celebrate ST. PATRICK'S DAY. So where better to have a St. Paddy's day then Roberto's Taco Shop? I told them that for Cinco de Mayo they will come back for a trip to a British Pub to have a pint of Guinness. Anyhow, here is my review: We checked out the menu that was here on Yelp! and decided what we wanted before we came. So, that's a bonus. I ended up getting the 2 taco combo meal and a bean and cheese burrito. I wasn't crazy about the tacos but the burrito was great. A couple of my friends had the same thing and another had a torta. She raved about it. So, next time I go that will be the move I make. We got our meals to go and they gave us all of the sides we needed. So, it was a 4 star experience and I'll be back as it is relatively close to home. read more

This is literally the thinnest and soggiest excuse for a burrito I have ever received. I can't even tell you if the paltry amount of meat in this burrito even tastes good. There was so little meat and so much salsa I can only tell you that the salsa tasted fairly bland and weak. Yes. You read that right. I still waiting and lady calls me and says what sauce I say green. She walks away. My daughter was hungry after school last Wednesday and wanted Carne Asada fries so I took her to Roberto's on Nellis and Vegas Valley. The place was very clean, spacious, and there's plenty of seating there if you want dine-in. In addition to the Carne Asada fries, I ordered two Carne Asada burritos, and four chicken tacos ($1 on Wednesday's). The burritos come with only steak, guacamole, and salsa. To me, they were just OK. The meat didn't have the grilled flavor or much flavor. I also wish they'd add rice or cheese or just something else to the burritos. I will say that they are a decent size, though. Very filling. As for the chicken tacos- the meat was dry and flavorless but they give you plenty of it. And, they're only a $1 on Wednesday's, so I guess I can't complain too much. To add flavor I just added the green sauce that they have in the self serve area. My daughter loved the Carne fries! We even went back today to get her some. The fries looked amazing! Lots of meat, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, and picco. They come with beans too, but she requested they exclude them. You get so much! I like how they place utensils, straws, and napkins out so that customers can get the amount they need instead of having to ask for it. As long as my daughter keeps wanting their fries, and service is up to par, then I'll be back. She loves this place. read more
