The guy working the front who said his name was "Jesus" was a total jerk and was extremely distressful to 2 high school kids that were there that were extremely nice and respectful. My first sign should have been walking into a 100+ degree store, clearly the AC was broken. I placed a mobile order and was there to pick it up. I noticed another patron pouring herself some salsa in the little cups but licking her fingers while doing so. When I went up to collect my order I asked if they had prepackaged salsas as I witnessed another guest licking her fingers and handling the utensils. They said no and grumbled under their breath about me complaining. So they clearly don't care about common food handling practices. So I just grab my items and go. I get home and realize that they messed up my order. I have been driving for 6 hours and just got back into town, so I absolutely am not about to get back in my car to have them remake my order. Considering they were so unprofessional and uncaring before, I feel that the remade item that they would have served me would have been a retaliatory action. I ordered a California burrito and they gave me a taco and an enchilada meal. The sauce was sour and the enchiladas was not heated through. The cheese was still cold and the sauce was room temp. Never again. This is only the second time I have been here. The first experience was not too far off from this. So it's safe to say that they are definitely not a location worth revisiting and I will be sure to share this experience everytime I can. read more

Roberto's has been in business my entire life. According to my mother, it was one of the few restaurants she could handle while she was pregnant with me over 25+ years ago. No where I can find has tortillas and salsa verde like Roberto's. The bean and cheddar cheese burrito is my absolute favorite comfort food on the planet. Then walked to the front and quietly asked for a refund, and the reason why. He stated, here's your food, it's ready. I said no you don't understand I'm requesting a refund and I do not want your food. he looked puzzled and acted as if roaches in the building are common. The place is kept up well with quick and friendly service. Most people seem to be doing takeout but it does have tables to sit and enjoy your food. You order at the counter when you walk in and there are numerous locations throughout Vegas. It's inexpensive and good for the price. This location does a pretty good job! read more

06/10/24 @ 1am. These guys are LAZY. Tried ordering over the phone 3 times, NO answer. Then I head over to the location, NO ONE is here. Why aren't they answering? Then I tried ordering....NOTHING is available. Asked about the 3 rolled taco PLATE (#11)...the menu says its $9.20 but he says it's $11.20 because it has he beans and rice. The menu clearly says the plate is $9.20. If you order the 3 rolled tacos alone, it is $6.20. WTH! I asked about it but he just shrugs. Nice and clean and friendly staff. My pic is the number 11 meal, chicken taco and enchilada with rice and refried beans. Yes I took a bite of the taco before I took the picture, I was hungry! Beneath the taco and all that cheese is the enchilada. They use very high quality chicken meat. Along with the delicious food they have the bar of taco sauces, lemon slices, pickled carrots onions and jalapeños. I also suggest the shrimp cocktail. I haven't been to Roberto's for a burrito in a long time. However, I didn't realize it was that long since the last time I was there the price for a burrito was $3.75 and it is now $10. Well inflation hits big-time at Roberto's. I ordered five Carne Asada burritos and one chicken burrito. I have some landscapers doing work at my house and thought this was an easy way to feed them today. However it was kind of pricey for lunch for a construction crew. Not sure if I'll be back since the burritos were just OK. Not quite like I remember them several years ago. Maybe the franchise was sold? A much higher price and a lesser quality burrito doesn't make for good business in my book. Don't think I'll be back any time soon. read more

I came in about 1:45pm. I ordered the #4 combo plate with one chicken taco and one beef taco. Everything tasted great, especially the blanco refried beans. The tacos were stuffed with meat, cheese and lettuce. My only 2 gripes are that the woman taking the orders was not friendly and that the meat was flavorful but a bit dry. This stuff is what hangover food cures are made of. Order the fries, loaded with EVERYTHING you can think of. They are sooooooooooooo good. (and so much food). We ordered two orders of piled up fries and they come with fresh ingredients, they certainly do not spare portions by any means - the styrofoam containers weighed A TON - and it was way too much food for 3 of us to eat. We probably threw away half of it and didn't feel bad about it because it was relatively inexpensive. These are not designed to be "saved for later" and after reading reviews of what folks have seen in the restaurant, I'm a bit sketch to order again- or at least not until we're starving and hung over again :) Just not the healthiest option, but certainly a reliable and dependable options. read more

Hi! I've been going to Roberto's recently because it's one of the few places still open 24 hours like pre-COVID. On 11/16/2023 at 11:50-ish PM, I got my order of chicken tacos, a chicken taquito (rolled taco) combo plate with guacamole and 2 churros. An hour or so later, I was clearly food poisoned. From around 1 AM to 8:30 AM, I was...exhibiting strong and obvious symptoms of food poisoning. I honestly don't want to eat at Roberto's again because of this. Ordered a few meals to go, the service was pretty quick. They have red/green sauce & salsas available at the salsa bar. My go to meal is very, very simple, just a bean burrito no cheese. The beans tasted like they were made with something else like bacon so the flavor was off. The after taste did not make it pleasant to eat. In addition to the taste of the beans the tortillas were over cooked and tough to eat. My spouse ordered a breakfast burrito and to add sour cream, gauc, etc it was $1 each to add. read more

Robertos may not have the best service. I feel bad for these guys because some people don't understand the concept of being understaffed. From a customer service aspect, sure these guys aren't 5 stars. But I've been here countless times and the food Is consistently good. They make pretty tender meat and nothing is ever undercooked nor over cooked. This isn't a place where you come to get a 5 course dinner. So after close to a 6 hour drive from California we decided to stop in here and pick up dinner since it was close to where we were staying. We ordered for 4 people and my total was $50. Pretty high for a taco shop, but one of the orders we placed was for the Diablo shrimp plate that was pretty pricey. We took the food to go and when we got back to our place to eat the shrimp I had ordered turned out to be a Carne Asada plate. I tried calling multiple times but the line was busy. I didn't feel like getting back in the car so I let it go. I did stop in there though before we left town and they asked me "Well what do you want us to do?" I asked if they could at least refund the difference since Carne Asada was much cheaper then Shrimp. After speaking with his manager they gave me the difference. Not gonna lie, Roberto's is my go-to when I want me some fast Mexican food...and don't wanna deal with those huge 'Mexican' chains! Yeah, that's you DEL & BELL... This one is probably closest one to home. Often pretty busy too. We usually eat in the restaurant because of what else...the FREE salsa bar! Thing is loaded with all the sides you need for your meal - pickled carrots, sliced cucumbers, sliced radishes, jalapenos, limes, heck..even stalks of fresh green onion! Their red & green salsas are good as well. Stock up! What the fam & I usually order doesn't change much when we visit any Roberto's. We'll stick with the popular carne asada burrito or the machaca burrito (I do like breakfast for dinner), the rolled tacos or carne asada nachos or chicken tacos (don't forget their $1 chicken taco Wednesdays), and I feel like a change one of their tortas. But no matter what we get it's a decent quick meal. Watch out though...the fillings in the burritos can be DAMN HOT! They literally cook it, place it in a warm tortilla, then send it out. Tasty, tasty, but watch your mouth! Enough to cause some heat backlash. Be dainty like me if you have to...cut the burrito in half to let out some of that steam! Their red & green salsas accompany their food very well. I can't really decide which one I like better so I always douse my food with some of both. Delegation, y'all! Their carne asada nachos are actually quite HUGE, they really give more meat than chips in this one. And they pile on the cheese...not to mention the sour cream & guac! Like a massive spoonful of each. Fatty city, here I come! But really, they taste good enough I just don't care. I'll just eat a side of some of Roberto's raw veggies from the salsa bar to even it out a bit. Don't start on those rolled tacos. They are no doubt fatty, fat cholesterol bombs! KABOOM! Rolled tacos, covered, and I mean COVERED in shredded cheddar cheese & topped of with generous amounts of sour cream & guac. Get yourself a defibrillator if you're eating an order of these along with a burrito or nachos. Oily goodness! Oh yeah get extra napkins too.
