This Rubio's used to be a staple for my daughter and I. The prices (like everything) have outpaced the quality and portions here. $2.49 for a tiny bag of chips and $3.49 for a small drink will keep me away from here. My daughter had the fish tacos and said they were "good" but the beans tasted crusty and old and the rice was too dry. I'm not sure the staff actually spoke to us other than to say what my change was. I think they painted the inside and it was clean-ish. $22 for two drinks, one entree, and a bag of chips. Ouch.

    Old stale food.

Old stale food. The taco shells were hard as was the dry, old, stale chicken. I ordered a total of 6 tacos (original fish and gourmet chicken) and feel terrible that I'm serving this to my family. Shame on the West Sahara location.

Decent fish tacos, especially considering the size of the fish itself. Very good shrimp taco as well. The langostino lobster tacos were delicious, lots of meat. The chicken tortilla soup is just okay, not spicy. Soda machine indoors. Salsa bar inside. Nicely decorated. Friendly service. Bottle Cokes and sodas also available.

We come to this location all the time! The food is usually tasty and fresh. That's why we kept coming back. Unfortunately today the fell a bit short. I got the Mexican street corn bowl with steak. The steak was burnt to a literal crisp. It was covered in black char and was the only thing I could taste. The texture felt like the had reheated. My husband got the trio taco plate. His usual order. And the Mahi taco was so dry it could have crumbled to dust. We advise the manager advising we usually love the food and eat here all the time and expressed our disappointment with our food. He advised my husband to "add more sauce" because they don't use oil when it's cooked and it is what it is basically, even though we have ordered this before and didn't have this problem. The solution for the burnt steak was to bring me out another side of burnt steak to mix in with it. Unfortunate that now instead of this being our first choice for date day we will have to second think it..

I ordered chicken tortilla soup. This has 90% rice and minimal broth?

I have no idea how I haven't written a review for this place yet - when I say I'm here all the time, it's not an exaggeration. I went again last night and will likely go back next week. Despite the average "ok" rating. Why? Partly because it's so close to work. Also, the two other locations closer to my home in the NW have both closed - really bummed that the Farm Rd and Lake Mead locations are gone. This location is pretty hit or miss. I usually order ahead online on the app, and have mixed experiences. The dining room tables often have crumbs on them and need to be wiped down, even when the store is empty. Orders are usually ready on time and food is fresh. But order online seems to get you less food - the takeout orders have sides of rice and beans in tiny condiment-style cups instead of filling the "side" portions of the takeout box, which comes off as both stingy and wasteful, due to the extra plastic. I'm all for consistency but this ain't it. The salsas don't always taste the same, either - as if the recipe isn't being followed quite right, or the batch I got was old and overly acidic. Another consistency issue? Their chicken tortilla soup. I got home and found out that my order was basically a soggy rice bowl, since the small container was packed with rice and minimal broth. Great deal for a small meal for $4.99, but I wanted soup... That being said, they have great Taco Tuesday deals and the food itself is usually pretty good. I'm a fan of their crispy shrimp tacos, classic fish tacos, and seasonal chicken tortilla soup (when it's made properly). My husband always gets a burrito and is usually pleased. We'll keep coming back but wish they would pull it together a bit. EDIT: Dropping another star from my review rating. Management responded asking me to submit my info on their website. I took the time to do that and got a generic and unapologetic, "thanks we'll pass this along" response. They don't actually seem to care. And now, less than a month later, the "seasonal feature" chicken soup isn't even available any more.

Friendly staff and good quality fast casual Mexican food with an emphasis on seafood. It's not Taco Bell here. I love that they have GF and Keto options like the all cheese tortilla. It's a nice alternative to carb based wheat or corn tortillas.

Stick to their tacos, particularly the fish tacos. The burritos can be a crap shoot. I ordered a carne asada burrito with my most recent visit and there was barely any meat and just a Spanish rice bomb. Luckily the fish tacos taste just as great as they always have. Crispy battered outside with soft and moist fish inside. I wish they didn't close a lot of the locations around the city or I'd come here more often.

The latter two are vegetarian and I wanted to go for a vegetarian friendly restaurant just for them. The olive oil tasting was my idea so I also had to choose the restaurant. My LTP and I actually went to a different tapas restaurant about a month ago and we loved it. So I wanted to try one of these again. Our tasting was scheduled to start at 6:00pm and I booked a reservation for 4:00pm through OpenTable. They have a very spacious patio, but due to the excessive heat warning in place at the time, we decided to dine inside. I didn't look at their hours of operation beforehand, so when we walked in, it was empty. Then I noticed that they open at 4:00pm on Saturday's and we were literally the first customers inside. We got a spacious table near the back of the restaurant, where our waiter for the day was Zach. He explained to us that all their food on the menu is based out of Spain, especially the paella, which takes about 40 minutes to cook and is meant to serve about two-four people. We started off with some drinks, where I got the mango margarita, my LTP and my dad respectively got the Atomic Duck and the El Pato Loco Mexican Lager from Able Baker, and my mom and my best friend's mom and stepdad shared a bottle of Chardonnay. While the margarita was on a bit of the sweet side compared to other margaritas I've had, it was still really good and it had a really fruity taste to it. We ordered the following and all six of us shared most of them; short rib pintxo, pork belly pave, patatas bravas, ole mis croquetas, iberico dates, and chicken tinga/braise short rib empanadas. Initially, I ordered just the chicken tinga for myself and my LTP was supposed to get the braise short rib, but my plate had chicken tinga and braise short rib together. That was ok, though, because both the chicken and short rib were absolutely delicious. The short rib pintxo came on a stick, with the rib falling off the stick as I took the first bite out of it. The pork belly pave was cooked perfectly. The patatas brava were spicy, but I would say 'good' spicy. The croquetas were overall one of my favorites; when I sliced it down the middle with my fork, the mashed potato filling spilled out of it. Hands down, Tres was a fantastic restaurant. The portions weren't too big or too small and everything here was so good. Would love to sit on their patio when the weather becomes cooler!

They have glorious, large shrimps and an assortment of tapas and side dishes. They do them in small matches, so they are really fresh. The owner is here so we got to talk to him a little bit, solid dude. The staff was great helpful and polite, but not that corporate kind of nice where they chase you down to say hello and interrupt you every third bite. Will definitely be back on Sundays and I can't wait to try to full menu. I didn't try anything else because the brunch spread was so great.

The fish was served at the proper temperature, with excellent firmness and just the right amount of fat. The menu featured bluefin tuna, and the chutoro was especially memorable. Too often, fatty tuna can come across as little more than a greasy bite, but this one was beautifully balanced, rich without being heavy. The charcoal-grilled lamb chops were another standout. Don't let the location or exterior fool you, it's actually a very nice restaurant with a lovely interior once you go in. The cocktail selection is great and pretty reasonable for Vegas. The restaurant week menu had 4 courses for $60, so it was a great value, but prices are very reasonable regardless. My favorite dishes were the Korean fried chicken and the wagyu skewers (my friend ordered this). They have a robust sushi selection as well, and everything tasted fresh and was prepared with care.
