I booked a Grand Circle Island Tour through Roberts Hawaii as part of a Costco Travel package. I was pretty lucky and had a stop located just outside of my hotel. The bus arrived on time and the tour guide met us outside with a friendly greeting. The bus was of great condition, newer model with a very modern interior. Seats were clean, well kept and extremely comfortable with the option to recline. Air conditioning worked pleasantly and is flow adjustable. We departed from the hotel and began our nine hour excursion around Oahu. We hit a majority of the the most popular tourist attractions including the Temple, Kualoa Ranch, North Shore and Dole Plantation. The tour guide was absolutely fantastic with a plethora of knowledge and humor. The guide himself never had a dull moment and was truly there for the customer. The stops themselves were rather short, but that should be expected for traveling completely around Oahu. I will admit that the tour itself is incredibly tiring as nine hours is quite the investment in a tour. Overall the tour was decent with a plethora of views! I was not a fan of traveling nine hours personally, but now I know my own limitation for personal tours. My only other major downfall was the short stopping times. I would have rather had a focused visit on a few placed rather than them all. Still a fantastic tour! Check it out and see it for yourself! read more

Horrible service!!! My pick up time supposed to be 10:05. I was there at 10 and wait until 10:10 and still don't see the car. Than I call to the customer service. They said the driver was three but you miss it. The next one is at 11:05, and you don't want to might miss your fligh, just get a Uber. I ask can they come back and pick me up since now is only 10:10. They said no. I ask can I get a refund? They said no too. I ask why I did not receive any text, or phone call from the driver saying they Have arrived. They said this is how they do. They just call you name, if you didn't hear or no response. Then they go. I would never use their service anymore and I will disbill the charge. Don't try to get my money if you don't provide any service! read more

I used this service to get me to the airport from my hotel in Honolulu. They were easy to deal with on the phone to set up pickup. Their van was clean and comfortable. They charged me $21, which was reasonable. I could of used public transportation for less money, however these folks fit the bill. read more

My husband and I hired this shuttle services from Honolulu airport to Alohilani Resort in Waikiki for 4/27/2022 and back to the airport on 5/2/2022 to eliminate any stress to try and find transportation at the last minute. The main complaint is on the 5/2/2022 ride from the resort to the airport. It started with the confirmation text the day before, asking us to call an hour prior to the scheduled pick up. Pick up time was at 4:30 AM so we purposely woke up at 3:30 am to call and confirm. No one answered the phone. The stress started to build up. When we asked at the front desk of the resort, we were told that the office is not opening until 8 am.. If this is the case - why would we were even asked to call an hour prior to the scheduled pick up time? At 4:45 am, the bus finally arrived, and we were still under the impression that we will be making out flight schedule (Boarding time was 6:50 am). The driver had 4 more pick ups before heading to the airport. The stress level kept increasing due to the time. After an hour and a half in the bus, we finally arrived at the airport at 6:10 am. The check in baggage line was insanely long and we finally made it to the counter by 6:50 am - the time we were scheduled to board the plane. We were flying "Southwest Airlines" - where you don't have an assigned seat. We did purchase the early bird option. By the time we finished with agriculture check point, dropping off luggage, security and running to our gate (to make sure we are not missing the flight home to PHX), the plane was full, and we didn't get the benefit we paid for due to the lack of urgency on this company's part. I will never use them again nor will recommend them to anyone. I tried reaching out to them and let them know about this but no one bothered to reply or call me back. Don't use. read more

Really dissatisfied, used this service previously, but this ride from the airport to the drop off point was beyond horrendous. We booked the grand Waikikian and the shuttle dropped us off at the corner of Paoa road and Kalia road, then we were told to walk down Paoa road, which wasn't even close to our hotel. We were then relegated to dragging our suitcase through the entire Hilton Hawaiian village, we were dropped at the farthest possible point. We had various flights of stairs and buildings, parking lot gates to find our hotel. Tired,hot and humid doesn't even describe this transfer service h..l. Before you hire this company find out where they plan to dump you, if it's not close, take a cab. I can't believe we paid anything for this. We canceled the return trip With Roberts of Hawaii . I will take Uber. I gave them 3 stars because the full circle island tour is their gold crown and is worth 5 . But the shuttle service is the pits and not user friendly. I want to thank Robert's for my recent extraordinary service. I used the airport shuttle as part of my travel package. It was late at night when I went to my hotel. The driver reminded everyone at dropoff."Don't forget your phone on the bus". Well I remembered my phone but I left what I would call a man purse, or murse, on the bus but I didn't realize it until I was ready to go to bed. I always do some reading on my Kindle before I go to sleep. I looked everywhere and had a feeling of anxiety as I realized that I had lost my bag between the airport and the hotel. I don't usually carry such a bag but because I was traveling, I had my Kindle, some medicine, and sunglasses in the bag so they were at hand on the flight. I called the airport lost and found the next morning and they didn't have it. Then I thought of calling Robert's. The person in the office told me, after I described the bag (it was camo, what else would a murse look like?) they assured me they would bring it to my hotel that day on one of their trips. We did the day at the Pearl Harbor with Roberts Hawaii. We booked through the official Pearl Harbor site, and it was hosted by Roberts Hawaii. We had a great time. The shuttle arrived on time. Fully equipped, strong AC, and comfortable. The guide is very knowledgable. Being a Vet himself, he told me a lot of stories regarding the Pearl Harbor, or simply all the wars about that period of time. It's a full day event, from 6:30am to about 5pm. We visited all the sites, and even driving through downtown for some important tourist site. My only slight complain is that I wish to have spend more time in some of the museums. I guess that I can spend a whole day in Pearl Harbor itself. Overall, highly recommend this company to everyone who wish to have a deep and serious tour for the Pearl Harbor!! read more

The baggage clerk gathered our luggage and made us wait for a shuttle, but he lost track of the boarding situation and forgot about us. Masaaki was outstanding! We pre-booked our airport shuttle with Roberts Hawaii (so easy). We arrived at the airport and went to the front desk, close to the exits. A team member directed us "inside" to Claim Baggage 31 (from 22) outside the airport it's 4-5 for shuttle. There was no wait and our shuttle was already waiting with our driver, Masaaki. Masaaki was great... putting our bags onboard and taking them off at our hotel drop-off. The ride was really easy and enjoyable on the freeway to Waikiki! Same awesome experience leaving our hotel to the airport. Called Roberts (per their text message) 1 hour before pickup, but I do not remember our driver's name. Itinerary for the Oahu multi-stop tour was two nice lookouts and then a bunch of awful tourist trap shops. It was awful. The itinerary that was in the brochure was not followed. We drove past most of it and the driver said, "if you wanna see more rent a car." Nothing but transportation was included. Would have been better off just buying the Waikiki trolley pass and doing everything myself. 3 hrs were spent in shops that had the same stuff! The ranch they took us to was a cafeteria and you'd need to pay an additional fee for a tour. The dole plantation again was just a store and you'd need to pay to do any of the activities. Cons: kinda sucks they make so many stops, I know it's part of it but when u land from a flight you just wanna get to your hotel already and relax -another con which I didn't know is that uber is way cheaper. If i had known I would've saved the headache of having multiple stops and just get one quick ride to the airport. We take Roberts each and every time we come out to Honolulu. It is the most convenient, inexpensive and dependable means to get to/from HNL/Waikiki. Now, realize that this is a shuttle to the Hotels. It is NOT a Hotel shuttle. i.e... You will stop at every hotel known to man... jk... it just seems like it. Depending on the time of the year, it may take you upwards of 1.5hrs to get to your destination. But, if your flight arrives in the morning, no worries. You have plenty of time to do a lot. Even if your flight arrives later, it's actually better because there aren't as many people checking in. The prices are excellent and much more reasonable than taxis. Personally, we'd rather spend the money on mai tais than cab fare. And the drive is not too bad either. Take notes on the places you pass by, such as the restaurants and shops so as you can plan ahead for your walk/ride there the next day. Roberts replies to emails. Sometimes they take a few hours to respond, However none the less they do respond and because of that I give 4.5 stars. 2. Make sure to call the correct phone number. Their central office Number is 808-539-9400. I had a little trouble getting ahold of them. This is to help other helpers. I give the confusion a 4.5 star rating 3. The customer service. Where do I start? The customer service from the drives is excellent. The tour guide bus drives are excellent tour guides and have interesting and funny stores. They tell you about the history, food, animals and plants. 3a. The customer service from the central office is also a winner. Due to carnival splendor not being able to shuttle us in to Kona, Roberts Hawaii staff helped me book another tour to for Hilo by using my funds for the Kona tour and transferring them to the Hilo one. They also refunded the difference from the Kona tour. 5 stars for customer service 4. Maui, Iao Valley/ Maui Tropical Plantation I honestly don't remember the drive's Hawaii name from Maui but her English name was Elizabeth. She was kind, I interesting, informative and funny. 5 stars for Elizabeth Iao Valley - we received about 30 mins to explore this area. 5 stars. It is beautiful there. Maui plantation- we received a ticket to do a tram tour at the plantation. We were at the plantation for about 1 hour or less. Make sure to try the ice cream, it's very good. 4.5 stars for the ice cream The tram tour was informative and a great photo and video opportunity. The only draw back is there was no tasting of the fruits or nuts grown at the plantation tour. And if there was a place, there was not enough time to do find out where and when to do it. The tram ride takes up most of the time. 4.25 stars The next tour we booked was for Hilo Hawaii - Hilo Holo Holo Tour -- CRUISE SHIP: CARNIVAL SPLENDOR Sunday, October 21 2018 @ 8:30am - 11:00am 14 adults 1. Our driver was was Sun. I have him 5 stars for being informative, funny, and interesting. 2. The tour itself black sand beach stopped there for about 20 mins. The black sand beach is a 5 stars Hilo farmers market Please understand that you will only be driving through for this part of the tour, again all you do is drive by it. Wish we would have had 10 mins to stop and purchase from fruits to try. Due to this 3 stars. The driving through the gardens was fine and a 3.75 stars Rainbow falls We had about 25 mins at rainbow falls. I feel losing 10 mins at the falls to use at the farmers market would have been fair. Nonetheless for being a good size waterfall and an excellent story behind the falls from our driver, 5 stars. Last but not less, the candy factory Wow! We had about 25 mins here and trust me you need the time. The customer service from this place is amazing. You can sample anything. You receive free samples of there chocolate dipped cookies at the door and right after that a sample of their expensive coffee. Everything at the factory is basically made by the workers hands. Took the Roberts shuttle from Pearlridge to Pearl Country Club for the Bon Dance Night Market. Providing parking at Pearlridge and having the Roberts shuttle service was a brilliant idea! The driver, Georgia, was very, very nice! She was friendly and courteous, and gave excellent service! The bus was air conditioned, clean, and very comfortable. Hope the Pearl Country Club continues to use the Roberts shuttle for their events as it sure save me a lot of headache trying to fight traffic and find parking in a very congested area. read more
