After wasting almost $200 and not having my issue resolved or identified they left, but not before trying to charge me $1300 to resolve the "problem". I sent them home in disgust. He was straight forward about what I needed and didn't need. He certainly told me hydrojetting my home so quick was a bad idea and that he could solve the problem by snaking from the roof. Less positive is there are important aspects of the business he he should know, but does not, and he does not listen to the customer. In this instance, he was here in connection with a drain stoppage that was going to need a camera inspection. He started to open the clean out, I asked/told him to use a plastic trash bag, but he ignored me (I am unsure if he even recognized why)and opened the clean out, releasing a flood of stinky drain water in our garage, much of which was soaked up by cardboard boxes on the floor. Still stinks. Yuck! The camera inspection was OK, and he correctly located the area of the blockage (dirt in a corroded/holed drain pipe). His repair estimate seemed high, and between that and the stink we went with another plumber. read more

We had sewage backing up into our bathtub (eww), so we needed it fixed ASAP. Saw Robert's reviews on Yelp, called him, left a message, and got a call back 8 minutes later. He asked a lot of experienced questions about the issue and had me check the clean-out for him so he had an idea of what to expect when he got here (which, in turn, let him give me the most accurate quote he could). He had one other stop to make before he could get to me, and he said he'd call me when he was on his way. He did, and was here 15 minutes later. I asked him about hydro jetting vs. snaking, and not only did he never try to upsell me (points for that), but he actually talked me out of doing the hydro jet today. That's a $100 savings, or 2/3 of his next visit, the next time we need him (provided everything goes as smoothly as it did today - his rates are hourly, so YMMV). He was here and gone in about 40 minutes. He accepts credit cards, though there's a "convenience fee" of 3% or so - basically, you're paying the fee he has to pay when he uses a card, and that was indeed convenient for me, so the extra coupla bucks was worth it for me. read more

It's hard to find honest people let alone hard working and knowledgeable in their chosen craft. That alone isn't sufficient to describe Robert. What I can adamantly convey is that Robert will treat you with respect. Meaning he will not take short cuts, he will asses your plumbing issues, he will inform you in detail what your plumbing issue is (the cause), and he will give options of what he can do. With all the heavy rains this winter and after the years with very little, we discovered we had a clog in our exterior drains. I called a local plumber who, after snaking it, insisted the area that was flooding was not tied into the main drain and ended up making the problem worse. Someone suggested we try hydro jetting the lines so I googled it and Roberts was the first name that came up. He was swamped with many similar requests, I'm sure. We needed a new water pressure regulator and a new pressure release valve for our tankless water heater after it sprung a small leak (luckily the leak was routed outside our house and garage).
