    Menu - muffalettas

I won't be back. The veggie muffaletta was a small sub. This thing was packed with black olives and some green olives. It had barely anything else on it. This olive salad was placed on a typical sub roll and not focaccia let alone homemade focaccia. The fries were acceptable.

An excessive amount of grizzle in my strip steak.

I'm not sure if this restaurant has recovered from the pandemic. Very few patrons during the dinner time (6:30pm Wednesday). I ordered the strip steak, baked potato and sautéed mushrooms. Also ordered the chicken noodle soup. Soup arrived first, boiling hot and very tasty. The entree arrived...the potato had a tough texture but tasted good. Mushrooms were outstanding. Veggies were excellent. My steak had about 1/4 of it was grizzle. Disappointment for sure. Maybe just an unusual evening for them. Let's hope it gets better.

The ambiance might be lacking for a business but the food and service made up for it. Amazing food and people

Solid dining option if you're near the airport or staying at one of the hotels nearby. Came by for a late lunch at 2pm on a Wednesday. Only a couple other diners. Waitress was really nice and helpful, and great to the kids. Overall, solid food but a bit pricey (expected for the area, but the drink prices were definitely eye popping). + original muffuletta: more like a panini-fied muffuletta. Generous portion of olive salad, well toasted bread, thick slice of ham, right amount of salami. Salty toasty good. Not huge. Came with a side of fries. Yum fry sauce! + Caesar salad: came tossed with generous amount of parm and dressing. Not a huge portion + kids chicken tenders and fries: pleased to see 3 tenders instead of 2, like I often find at places. Hot and fresh. Kid opted for bbq sauce, until he discovered fry sauce + spaghetti and meat sauce, garlic bread: kid #2 was disappointed no ravioli but was happy with spaghetti as a substitute. Good portion for a kid. Grated parm on top. Hearty meat sauce with plenty of ground beef. Garlic bread looked like a dinner roll cut in half and toasted with garlic butter spread. Kid loved it, haha. Large parking lot and easy to find restaurant right off the road.

Wasn't too sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Service is top notch. Beer is cold and food is good. Decided to stop in off the recommendation from my hotel. My waitress Terrie was very friendly and helpful. I got the Greek salad with no meat and was really good. Service and food were really fast. I can't at an off hour so may not be the same during peak hours.

Stop, turn around and go to the glow at the hotel. Someone said it was a weird place, I'd have to agree. Not a lot of options around so.... Pros: one of a few options around, close to the hotels. Food was fine, nothing I'd run back for but better than Perkins. Cons: waitress struggled to take my order of a small salad and turkey Reuben. Not sure what was going on there....Ice tea was clearly the first cup when brewing, thought it was Pepsi at first. Ambiance looked like a deli w/ formica tables, If this is the only option, fine. If you have others I'd suggest finding another spot.

I went during lunch on a work day and there were only two people working in the restaurant. I went with a group of people and the service took a long time. Of course, there were only two people work so that was understandable. The food was a typical american food. They mostly have burgers and sandwiches. There is not many restaurants around the area since its mostly hotels and business buildings, but it is easy access to the freeway. Not really a place for big groups.

Great casual restaurant in the center of SLC's hotel city. I found it by the reviews and I was a little startled to find it empty at lunch time. The hostess / server was a long time employee and local who said you never know when it'll get busy but I dined solo for the 30 or 40 minutes I enjoyed my gyro wrap with fries. It came out fast and piping hot. The fries were surprisingly good. Lightly seasoned and more like eating potatoes than fried food. I'd order just the fries next time but the gyro was actually excellent as well. It's very neatly wrapped so it's easy to eat on the go without making a mess. I gobbled the fries down and took the sandwich with me. The server said everything on the menu is amazing so I'll be back when we're there for a project in a couple of weeks.

    Traditional breakfast

I like over medium eggs and it is very difficult to get done correctly. But these guys did a great job getting my eggs right. We also ordered biscuits and gravy which the gravy was more like Alfredo sauce. The biscuits was old. Very casual atmosphere plastic plates very quit. I would still eat here again

The inside of the restaurant is well appointed and I think fitting for the cuisine. Not overly decorated but nice vibe for a casual dinner. Food wise I would recommend the spicy Shrimp Scampi - the pasta was said to be house made and it showed. Great chew and a nice compliment to the spicy fresh scampi sauce. Only complaint would be leaving the tails on shrimp - basically have to deconstruct the dish to get them off. This is very common though so not a huge deal. I liked that the entrees come with a house salad to feel like a solid meal. The smokey pineapple cocktail was a little sweet for me but liked that there were some interesting options. Our sever Ayden did a great job with the larger group and had drinks and water well topped off. Overall I enjoyed Caffe Molise and if I'm back in SLC I would go here again.

The bar staff were quick to serve us, knowledgeable about their products, and made excellent cocktails. We were seated on the balcony, which had a wonderful ambiance. The garden setting was beautiful, the décor was tasteful, and the seating was comfortable. The serving staff were attentive throughout the meal. They were knowledgeable about the specials, offered appetizer suggestions, promptly cleared empty plates, and ensured all of our needs were met. Unfortunately, the food is where the experience dropped from a 5-star service rating to a 3-star overall rating. The fish was overwhelmed by a heavy tomato sauce that masked the flavor of the fish itself. The gnocchi was overcooked and swimming in sauce, resulting in a disappointing entrée. While the atmosphere and service were exceptional, the quality and execution of the food did not match the high standards set by the rest of the experience.

We easily made reservations and found street parking about a block away. We started with some delicious cocktails--the Lady Pleaser and Paper Plane--which were both delicious. We had the bread with whipped cheese and hot honey along with the grilled caesar salad and crudo for appetizers. They were all beautifully presented and delicious but the caesar blew us away and was one of our favorite bites of the night. We got a few more cocktails to enjoy with dinner--the Mezzin' Around and a gin, mint, and lime drink I forgot the name of. We enjoyed both of these as well. For entrees, I got the carbonara and my husband got the squid ink pasta with lobster. I've never seen more beautifully presented pasta dishes in my life. The flavor matched the beauty too--and the portions were good enough to take half home. My husband was incredibly happy with all the lobster in his pasta. We took a raspberry tiramisu home, which was also delicious. The bill came to $208 before tip, which matched the quality of the food and restaurant experience. I'm excited to come back and try other things as I believe the menu changes regularly.

There were two options and we chose the one with shrimp on romaine, burrata caprese, and melon with prosciutto. Then we shared the pasta sampler (which has a much cooler name that I can't recall because I don't speak Italian!). I was never a big fan of gnocchi but it was fantastic, served in a spicier tomato-based sauce. There was a spectacular butternut squash ravioli, spinach ravioli, and a spaghetti with an indescribably delicious cream sauce. Overall, that dish is NOT to be missed. We also had a special entree of beef tenderloin with mushrooms, shaved potatoes, and an oxtail sauce. We shared it because OMG food coma, which was a great call. We finished with the tiramisu *swoon* and the lemon gelato with lemon juice, local Utah honey, and sea salt sprinkles. I'm not a big lemon dessert fan and I wouldn't have normally ordered it (I had the tiramisu). The lemon gelato with honey had such a pleasantly unusual texture. The honey had the mouth feel of stringy cheese but the flavor of spring. The gelato was delicate and soft and the salt just amplified the experience. Zachary was our server. He's funny, extremely knowledgeable, and served each dish with an unforgettable flourish. I'm sure mine is just one more voice extolling the fabulousness of this restaurant, but it was a pleasure. One of my requirements was cocktails, and those looked pretty good from what I saw on Yelp. The menu was intriguing as well. I knew I wanted to try the tuna tartare for sure. I made a reservation for us for 18:30 and we were greeted with a smile and quickly seated. The ambiance was beautiful. I loved the giant tree in the middle of the dining room, and the seats were so chic and comfy. There is a parking garage, so no need to worry about parking either. Our server promptly greeted us and we placed our order for our cocktails and the tuna tartare app. I went with the Truth or Pear (I'm a sucker for anything pear related) and my husband went with the Mezcal old fashioned. Both arrived to our table shortly before the complimentary bread did. That bread was oh so warm and fluffy, and came with the most delightful herb oil to dip in. The cocktails were good, smooth and well-balanced. The tuna tartare was next to arrive, and it was plated wonderfully. I was very excited to dig in. The bread was toasted to perfection, and the tuna was seasoned with the most delightful citrus notes, just as stated in the menu. It was a perfect combination of flavors, and my favorite dish of the evening. The portion was also generous in my opinion, and we definitely savored each bite. As far as our entrees, we both wanted pasta, and the bison rigatoni caught my eye immediately. The spicy rigatoni spoke to my husband as well, so that's what we both ended up ordering. The pasta was quite decadent, especially mine with the ricotta. We noticed a lot of people packing up leftovers, and quite frankly, if we weren't so hungry, we probably would have had leftovers as well. While the sauce was overall good, it was a little monotone. The rigatoni was also a little overcooked. I honestly expected more, especially coming from CA, where I am no stranger to quality pasta dishes hailing from restaurants in Carmel, Half Moon Bay, and similar towns. We left with our bellies full, and the service was great, but I wished our pasta dishes were better, especially for what we paid (which was comparable to what I've paid in CA, mind you). The tuna tartare was most definitely the highlight of our meal. The next time we're in SLC, I'd come back for the tuna tartare, but it looks like I'll need to do a more thorough search for restaurants that serve better pasta.

Our server was quick to apologize, had a fresh entrée prepared right away, and even comped the meal, which was greatly appreciated. The replacement dish came out hot and was much better. I also enjoyed a glass of red wine that paired nicely with dinner, and the complimentary bread was absolutely delightful--fresh, warm, and a great way to start the meal. One of my favorite touches was the beautiful cherry blossom tree in the center of the restaurant. It creates such a unique and inviting atmosphere and really adds to the overall dining experience. While there was a small hiccup with the food temperature, the excellent service and attention to making things right turned it into a positive experience. I would definitely return.
