First time visitors... Spent 3 nights (5/22 to 5/24/2026) at Whitewater Creek Park. Campsites were…read morespacious and well maintained. Playground, splash pad and beach areas are available. Sewer and 50-amp service were available on most sites. Wife enjoyed fishing spots on the boardwalk and along the edges. Very quite and relaxing... close enough to have good cell service and some local TV but far enough out to have wildlife in natural habitat... looking forward to going back soon... Truly a nice park that is hidden gem.

The lake is nice and there is a boat ramp to launch your boat. The lots are very large and spaced out. They could have twice as many lots but then it'd just be another sardine can - this campground was pleasantly different and most welcome.

There are lots of restaurants and bars along the lake with docks, which is pretty nice since the only other option is by car and that takes quite a while considering everything is backroads around the lake. There's a small privately owned island in the center, the owners are super friendly as long as you keep the island clean and clean up the mess you make. So don't ruin it for the other party people. Definitely worth checking out if you have the opportunity. Just mind the no wake zones.

Came here for the very first time to ride the silver comet trail towards Rockmart. The parking lot…read morewas right beside the coot's lake. If you are here for the first time turning from the highway, don't take the first right it the entrance for coot's lake. You have to take the second right for the trailhead. This trailhead has one row for parking spaces. You can refer the pictures for an idea. At the end of the parking lot you have the benches and paved entrance for the trail. As soon as you start out of the trail head you will encounter stop sign in the direction towards Rockmart. Overall wen went with the family and had a good time and in most cases you will end up taking good photos with the lake as background.

Some details: Easy for walking no hills Walkable or rideable for bike lovers or mobile scooter riders. Quiet and quaint area. Natural wildlife are present but not overwhelming The ducks were so adorable Easy parking and it's free Shading along the path I wish they kept the seating a bit more maintained so i could sit instead of standing when I wanted to pause but it is nice over all. There's also a round canopy but it didn't seem well maintained either. Hopefully if you rent space for an occasion you can request a refresh before using this part of the lake. Overall I'd go again!

I remember going to this park I all the time with my two small dogs. I took them to this park all…read morethe time. This park is truly fabulous. This park contains wonderful play equipment (swings, obstacle courses, etc...) for the children. On the other side is a very nice large gazebo area that has lots of table benches complete with three built in charcoal grills for groups, families, and individuals to have picnics or BBQs on/at. Also, there is a nice little wooden seating area just a little bit aways from the BBQ/picnic area. You can also walk a little further down from that area and go onto a little wooden secured platform the hangs just right over the Chattahoochee Lake to see the lake and all it's beauty. There is also a wonderful nature trail that you can walk on with or without a pooch companion to see the beautiful wooded area and all of the beautiful trees there. I absolutely love this park. I cannot comment on the bathroom that they have on and right next to their parking lot as I have never been inside of it. The parking lot is not large, but is pretty decent. I do recommend this park as it is worth going to, visiting, and seeing.
