They even layed down tarps to protect my hardwood floors.
    B H.

Curtis and his assistant did an OUTSTANDING job servicing my 70 year-old floor heater today. My wife claimed she smell gas. This is why we called Robinett plumbing, due to their extensive experience with floor heaters. They vacuumed the heater, test ran it and performed a smoke test on the vent stack to ensure there's no leaks. They even layed down tarps to protect my hardwood floors. One of the many reasons I liked Robinette plumbing is, they didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need, such as a new wall thermostat. Mine is like 40 years old...lol. Just a note, this company is highly recommended on "Next Door" when it comes to repairing and servicing the old floor heaters.

Robinett replaced my busted antique pipes with shiny new copper.

He was super kind, courteous, and empathetic. I told him about how the previous plumber came in with a special wand tool, told us we had major gas leaks, that we needed to take care of it immediately, and quoted us $17,000 for it ($15,000 with "discount"). He also said "I normally have to report you to the gas company so they can come shut it down, but I'm not going to. You just have to make sure to take care of it right away." I knew that sounded insane, so that's why I looked for a second opinion, while also doing due diligence in case there was an actual leak. Matthew was apologetic, saying that's unfortunate. He asked straight up if it was Prodigy Plumbing, which it was! He said he doesn't like to bad mouth other companies, but that he's heard of similar situations from other people. He said he wanted to help me out, and would be there in 30. He was super warm. I asked if he didn't mind wearing the boot covers, that I had some in the home, and he pulled them out of his pocket because he was already prepared. He took his time to thoroughly explain what the process looked like. He also said they would do the leak test for free because he wanted to make the bad situation better and knew I needed help. We discovered that one of the shutoff valves was behind the stacked washer dryer, and the only way to access it was to pull them out. He said he'd likely need another guy to help with that, but they could come the following day. We booked. Matthew was joined by Richard and Robert, who were also excellent. Together they got everything done in a short time. Full leak test revealed NO LEAKS! I asked Matthew what the charge would be and he reiterated it was no charge, he just wanted to make sure I got this taken care of. I insisted but he stuck by his original offer. Needless to say, I have found my new plumbers. The absolute best experience I have had with a plumber thus far. Oh and as a bonus, after they cleaned everything up, Matthew took me to the main gas meter and pointed out a few issues. The earthquake shutoff valve wasn't properly mounted, and the pipes on the city side were hand tight. He told me exactly what I needed to do and who I needed to call for that, and gave me a rough estimate on price. Could not be happier with Beach Plumbing, they are the real deal.

Having someone honest who is willing to tell you all your options (like fixing the broken parts versus installing a new water heater), and THEN is willing to give you the exact pricing for those options is hard to find now-a-days. I truly recommend this man; he does a one man operation, works hard, and gets the job done like he said he would; I can't tell you how many times handymen/contractors have said to me "I'll let you know if something comes up and I can't make it" and then only show up if they please; instead he was punctual and today, I was able to take the hotest shower I've had in my new home thus far. He even worked with my work schedule so I could come home to hot water after I told him I work 10-11 hours a day 5 days a week and was going to be without hot water until my next day off . Thank you SO much Wade you are a blessing!!!!!! Also my water heater wasn't even up to code (I had no idea) and he was kind enough to get it all safe and up to code when he installed the new one!

I…read morecontacted my usual plumber, but when he didn't arrive the next morning, I began looking for another company since we had to shut off the water to prevent further flooding. Carlos came out to assess the situation and explained that his team could start the next morning at 8 AM. He said they would begin with leak detection to locate the source, then proceed with the repair. The work involved cutting through my granite flooring and into the slab. Before moving forward, I asked if he was licensed and if he could work with my home warranty company and follow their procedures. He confirmed both. Because the work took place on a Sunday, I wasn't able to obtain pre-approval from the warranty company, which led to some complications. I paid by personal check and received a handwritten receipt under the name "SoCal Plumbing." When I submitted it, the warranty company indicated that the license associated with that name was expired and not tied to a plumbing business. I followed up with Carlos, and he provided a different license under the name "G Del Plumbing and Rooter," which was valid. Initially, he and his team were helpful in trying to provide the necessary documentation, although the process took time due to back-and-forth with the warranty company. The warranty company eventually agreed to partially reimburse the cost but required a final invoice showing both the diagnosis and proof of payment. The invoices I received continued to show a balance due, and as the 30-day submission deadline approached, I attempted to follow up multiple times by phone and text but did not receive a response. As a result, I may not be able to complete my claim and get partially reimbursed for this emergency. On the day of the repair, I also asked about installing a water pressure valve and was told there would be a follow-up, but I did not hear back. Overall, the repair work was completed, the toilet was reinstalled as promised, and the team was punctual. I was quoted a range for the price and of course the actual amount was the highest price in that range. However, communication and documentation could have been more consistent, especially given the warranty requirements. My advice is to not pay in full if there are outstanding items that they need to do.

I was glad to see that Tim arrived exactly when he stated he would, and came in with all the tools he needed, plus more. As well as took his time to full diagnose the issue. We came to the agreement that the water heater needed to be replaced due to multiple factors. He didn't try to upsell me on unnecessary things and I was the one that requested and recommended extra work that needed to be done such as valve replacement and vent inspection. Tim went above and beyond with installing new straps, the valve, water heater, reseated the ducting properly, as well as as put in a much needed gas pipe to reduce any dirt or debris from the gas line into the water heater burner. It took him a bit longer than expected, but he thoroughly tested the water heater, burner, and hot water. I was very impressed by his work and how clean the installation was. I think for the experience, expertise, and quality of Tim's work its was an excellent value. We even upgraded to a larger tank for not much more which the family was very happy about. We have also signed up for the yearly maintenance. I highly recommend Tim the Water heater guy, as he does a great job for a great value.
