I was visiting Florida since my sister now lives there, had to take my niece, Koutney to one and she's loves fudge and this place had everything. Made a roadtrip out of it, only two hours, about the same amount of hours from Laredo to San Antonio, wasn't too bad. Of course, Florida is much smaller than Texas roads, we got there around 11am and ohhhhh boooooiii, that smell of brisket just had to stand there to take a moment of silent. Plus this was also a redemption on my banana pudding, because when I went to the Buccees in Tennesse, the TSA agent threw it away and I was hella sad, that was $5 down the drain and it was frozen, not liquid. (I placed it in the freezer before getting on the plane). That redemption bite of fresh banana pudding had me in tears okay! I just love their pudding and you can say all you want about Magnolia Bakery banana Pudding, I prefer the ones from Buccee's. Can't go wrong with any brisket sandwich from here, I ended up buying a couple of it since I never leave empty handed and even though my sister doesn't it, her husband will. Don't forget to grab some onions and pickles at the brisket station for your sandwich, it cuts the fattiness of the brisket or kimchi will do too. OMG I need to do that next time. Sound fire! I belived the nearest Buccee's for me is in Arizona and that recently opened up, can't go there just yet but I will. For me, I'm trying to collect all their Buccee's location teeshirt, its the cutest thing. Can't wait to come back here though, it was a fun roadtrip with my niece, and I'm glad she loved the different types of fudge. That banana pudding fudge is oughta be my favorite by far.

Many were in the hot food section buying brisket sandwiches, bakery items. They even had shirts and pajamas, and anything you might possibly need. The quantity of food is ok for the pricing. The taste of the pulled pork was ok. Not a real strong Smokey flavor but it was good. Sadly it was a tad dry, needed to add sauce to it to give back some moisture that was needed. As for sauces: you had mustard sauce, Smokey sauce, sweet sauce and a spicy sauce. I tried three out of four, just did not care to try the spicy sauce. My favorite of the three I tried was the mustard sauce which had a rather sweet taste and a slight twang of the mustard. For me it was the best balance of sauce flavoring offered. The Smokey and Sweet sauces actually tasted really close to each other and not a real defining differences. Then for the brisket, it looked good, nice small line of bark on it. Sadly though just by looking at it, I could tell this was dry and over cooked. Very small smoke ring at the edge and the meat was completely over done and so dry when I cut it with my fork it broke into lots of pieces, not because of it being tender but it was so dry. Had a hard time using my fork to stab it and wound up using my spoon to gather it up to eat because it broke up so much. Taste was not bad outside of the dryness. Way disappointed in this joint. Had the makings and smells of a great place. Just very dry meat with the pork and brisket. And others eating with us had a burger and it was over cooked and dry as well. The baked beans had a ok flavor, but needed help so I injected some money sauce to help and that worked. The potato salad was very plain and no real flavor sadly. I love potato salad and wish I chosen another side item that this. Service was good and not too bad. Little slow since there was pretty much no one in the joint. But they were nice folks. I had the beef rib soup and my friend had pork bone soup. They were both delicious. I always test the soup stock first and it was so good I had to tell them how great it was right then and there. The beef rib was tender and plentiful too. Of course if it's Korean meal it comes with banchan. The kimchee banchan is homemade and perfectly seasoned. It was my first time having tomato kimchee and I tore it up. An older gentleman came in, had lunch and before he left he said it was some of the best Korean food he's ever eaten. That's how good it is. The restaurant is huge and has a large bar area. I wasn't sure what to expect but it's great for gatherings and of course it has the BBQ grill in the middle of all the tables. I especially like that it's not just a KBBQ. If you're eating alone there is plenty on the menu for singles to eat too! The owner and her son came to our table and were so nice. Little did we know, this classic Daytona destination, would be closing/relocating 2 weeks after our lunch. We hear they're on the lookout for a new location.
