    Clamp and tape

Customers: Read the bad reviews too. There's a pattern. He makes excuses. I think Rob is a good plumber and knows what he's doing, but he's a failure with public relations if things do not go smoothly, and he needs to hire someone competent. His partner made a mess. A copper pipe under the house was leaking and spraying water all over the subfloor and crawl space. He said he'd" replace the pipe" but he didn't. His partner put a metal clamp and black tape on it! It was spraying water days later, soaking my subfloor beams and flooding the crawl space. And he left a tool and a large plastic tarp under the house that covered the flooded area which could cause a lot of mold. I found it when the pipe began leaking again. Rob came and replaced or repaired the pipe. I asked for the old pipe but he seemed reluctant so I let it go. The job was not quite finished, but he came the next day at 9a.m. and wanted to get paid and said he'd send me a receipt, but he hasn't. I paid him in full, and I gave him my email address. Over the next week or so I gave him my email three times and repeatedly asked for an itemized receipt but got nothing, not even a return call. I thought he'd finish the job when he came at 9 am and wanted to get paid. After I paid him in full he left, and I waited for 5 hours and called him, but I got no return call until I called again and left a message that I had put a hold on the check. Then he called back. He was angry and yelled at me and hung up on me. He finally showed up to finish the job, but he was still angry and wouldn't look at me. Earlier, he said he'd clean the mud off the house that his partner smeared while working but he didn't clean it. He placed an industrial fan in the crawl space and left it overnight, but never picked it up. I called and told him I'd cover it and leave it on the side of the house. That was 10 days ago. The fan is still there. And he's sent no receipt. I only have an estimate with no date and writing that is illegible. He charged me $900. My regular plumber was busy. But he came and took photos of the pipes and I turned on the water, and he made a video of the "repaired" pipe that was spraying water and flooding the crawl space. Bad job, Rob, and lousy communication. And pick up your fan before it's stolen. And send me an itemized receipt. Maybe I won't ask you for the $225 I had to pay my regular plumber to come out on a Sunday and document the mess your guy made under my house. Repairing a copper pipe with a metal clamp and black tape? Is that what you call "replacing the pipe?"

I took off a star for the price (see below for details). Timeline: I found out about the problem Sunday night (11pm), Thomas came around 9am Mon, and he was done at 12pm. My positive experience: My water heater (2016 Rheem) stopped working, and they were able to come out first thing in the morning to take a look. Upon reviewing my existing water heater, they recommended replacing it, along with some infrastructure updates to make sure everything was up to code. Thomas explained everything that needed to be done in detail, and I had a great experience interacting with him. The price: I took off one star because they're a bit on the pricey side. I ended up paying a little more than I originally wanted to even with some discounts they were able to provide. My original water heater was also still under warranty for both tank and parts until 2028, but this information was never revealed to me. I found out after I approved the job (my fault for not looking into it). I would've been happier if a cheaper option to replace some broken parts was offered to me as well, so that I could've made a better informed decision on repair vs replacement. Overall, I'm happy with their work, but price sensitive customers may want to look at other options before making a decision.

A gas company free…read moreinspection discovered that my water heater vent was not functioning properly, so they shut if off and told me to get it repaired/addressed by professionals. The first company that came out charged me $99 for an inspection and estimate and claimed that I needed to replace all my vents (switching from single-wall to double-wall). Pablo, however, explained that this was unnecessary -- he could redo sections and install a new cap on the roof for about a quarter of the other company's estimate. During my research, I also considered installing a tankless water heater to avoid dealing with vents altogether and obtained estimates for that option. Pablo offered to install a high-quality tankless at a reasonable price, while other companies suggested lower-quality units at equal or higher prices. I decided to accept Pablo's bid and am glad I did, because he provided excellent work. I really appreciate his reasonable pricing and straightforward approach. He also responded to my request quickly and went out the same day to inspect the issue and completed the work the following morning.

So grateful that we've had Jerry's help and used Pro Solutions twice now for our plumbing needs…read more Both times were A+ experiences and I'll be continuing to use them for all of my plumbing tasks as they come up. A few years ago I used Pro Solutions and Jerry came out for a water pressure issue that impacted our sinks and shower. Jerry was thoughtful and a good communicator on the issue. He fixed the issue immediately and that experience stuck with us. Fast forward to this week, we used them again. Thankfully, no emergencies but I had one toilet needing a tweak and needed hardware changed in one of my bathrooms for the shower and sink that was long overdue. Even though my request wasn't an emergency, Jerry offered to come out within hours of my request to fix everything and was communicative even late into the night (when my toilet started acting up so I frantically messaged them) talk about stellar availability and service. Next day I had Jerry at my door, he was punctual, professional and did a great job of explaining everything so that I could understand what needed to be done, the pricing, and options for the replacement pieces. It was all a seamless and easy process. Jerry was also quick and efficient which was another bonus. What gives this company extra brownie points in my books though is their honesty...To elaborate, I had partially fixed the issue with my toilet before Jerry came but there was still something slightly off about the water levels... after telling Jerry he was able to tweak the part that I didn't know how to fix and literally in seconds, he had the issue resolved. Given what a quick fix it was and that he was already out to help with other plumbing issues, he didn't charge me for the toilet fix. Little things like that go a long way because any other plumber would've likely charged me just for even touching it/assessing it. That shows me that they care about their long-term business and customers, so they aren't out to make a quick buck. Honest, hardworking people are the kind of businesses I'll always go back to for repairs and projects. Two separate experiences and I was a happy customer both times. I'd highly recommend using pro solutions, plumbing and rooter for your house repair needs. Thanks Jerry and Team!

Was able to share my issues over the phone and before even seeing my appliances / the work to be done they came prepared with their own replacement parts and tools. The gentlemen that worked on my repairs were Clinton and Cayden. Two young professionals. I was impressed that they were right on time for the appointment. Very friendly, kind and professional. They handled everything with care and explained to me exactly what needed to be done. They were mindful and wore booties over their shoes in the house without me even making a comment. They were able to fix a leak in one of my showers and replace two corroded nozzles in my laundry area. Again I was impressed that 1. They assessed what needed to be fixed quickly, 2. Took care in explaining what needed to be done, 3. Had replacement pieces already on hand, and 4. Accomplished all of my repairs in about an hour. It's funny because another worker guy was actually at my house when they came and he even he was impressed with how timely this duo was. What really sealed the deal in me giving them five stars is they were a very understanding of our financial limitations to do all of the work that they suggested and without being pushy or sticking to their initial quote, they were able to be flexible and make some adjustments on how they handled the repairs to get the cost down. Yes that means they didn't do the repairs 100% as the felt I needed/recommended but they also worked with me to cut some repairs that were not an immediate need to keep the price point reasonable so that I could at least get some of the work done this day. A lot of places wouldn't give you any flexibility or would hound you to maintain their price point but these guys are very reasonable and I would 100% use them again in the future. If you are looking for a plumber in the 805 area this is a great family owned business and I couldn't recommend them enough.
