Truffle & Mushroom Flatbread
Jess P.

I have came here a handful of times and safe to say they never disappoint. The drinks are great, the flatbreads are delish (especially the pesto and truffle one) and all entrees never disappoint. Great service and great food, a must try if your in Long Beach

The food is delicious. The food choices were varied and arrived hot and quickly. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and their recommendations were right on target! The restaurant was relaxing and beautifully decorated. Bar service was great too. We will be dining there again

Fig & Bacon Flatbread

Everything was great! The place is very open and I didn't feel squished in. There was a live band playing (Saturday). We started off of with the fig and bacon flatbread and that was so good. Then we had the monk fish special and half chicken entree. Both were out of this world. I also order a side of asparagus and it came out perfectly cooked. I felt like the food came from another country. Cheers to the amazing chef! Our server (Crystal) was very friendly and had a beautiful smile. I can't wait to come back here again. I highly recommend. Yes, kid friendly.

Seafood fra diavolo was excellent!

We went to ROC & Olive for dinner and they had a three piece band playing toward the front bar. We were promptly seated in the back which was fine for our conversation. Generous drink pours and great food. The seafood fra diavolo was excellent (see pic) with plenty of seafood and the filet risotto was also good. Friendly service makes this highly recommended!

This is a nice restaurant to stop by after a day of hitting the beach. Servers greeted us politely and attended to our dietary restrictions well, answering all of our questions patiently. And the food was pretty decent over all. I highly recommend the shrimp and wild mushroom bucatini. It was close to perfect and just hit that pasta craving. I would come back to Long Beach just for it. It makes me curious to try their pesto pasta as well. I wish I could say the same for fall harvest flatbread, but when it came, it looked pretty underwhelming, especially for the price. It kind of looked like something that could be whipped up with regular grocery items. It tasted a bit funny to me too. I also got the calamari which was made pretty well! Overall, good experience! Just avoid the flatbreads

Have been here a few times recently. Atmosphere is great, food is amazing. Bang bang shrimp and any fish are incredible. Fun bands. All staff are wonderful. Crystal is the best though, always happy.

The place was very quiet for a Saturday afternoon. Service was relaxed, but very friendly and efficient. We had two pizzas for starters and then salads for entrees.

Went for happy hour. Oysters and clams were nice. 1/2 dozen for $10 each. Wings not as good. Very hot and not the best. Only 5 for $10. Not that juicy or Crispy but average. Would rate 5/10. Wine glasses filled up nice and nice ambiance. Very cool bartenders.

Sink with dirt around it. Caulk needs to be redone has mold

What time and day is Happy Hour?

This is not a question for me. Ask the restaurant

Hello, I'm very interested in this restaurant. How busy do you get on Wednesdays? Should I make a reservation for a party of 3?

Small, cozy spot with a great vibe !…read more Definitely recommend making reservations because it fills up quickly. The owner and his wife are usually there working and they're both so warm and welcoming. They always take the time to stop by each table to say hello and make sure everyone's happy, which really adds a personal touch you don't find often anymore. The food is consistently amazing, one of my absolute favorites is the fried burrata with honey drizzle (trust me, it's a must-try!). The cheeseburger, pasta dishes, and chicken are all incredible -- everything I've had has been a solid 10/10. You can really tell they put care into every detail, from presentation to flavor. Whether you're coming for a date night, dinner with friends, or just a nice meal out, Haviland Kitchen & Bar never disappoints. It's one of those local gems you'll keep coming back to. Thank you for the outstanding service, each and every time.
