Damn....people should really be talking more about Taco Tuesday's!! Last night, I took myself on a date to Roc & Olive and it was easily the best decision i've made all week. I decided to treat myself to a Sunset on Fire cocktail before even looking at the Taco menu. This cocktail was truly one of a kind. From the spice you got from the jalapeños to the incredible sweetness and tartness from the blood orange, this drink has gotta be up there in the top ten cocktails i've ever had! Now, onto the food! I started with the summer salad as an appetizer and it was delicious. Unfortunately, I was too hungry to remember to take a photo of it, but i've got pics of everything else. For my entree, I got the Wild Mushroom tacos. To be honest, I find it a bit confusing and extremely frustrating that we cannot mix and match. I don't get why it is not an option because I want to mix around the flavors and try new things. Anyways, I really enjoyed the flavoring of the tacos, but I really wished I could've tried two others along with it. Been dying to come here and my bff ate here loving it so then I decided me and my hubs plus our boy we had to come for lunch. Anywhere my boy likes and is happy is great with me lol. My hubs didn't like his food but no problem with ours. As me and my son shared some penne alla vodka. Right down the block is a nice playground! We came in for lunch from out of town and they were accommodating even though the entire inside of the restaurant had been reserved for a bridal shower. They were only seating outdoors to the public, so we sat outside. Not sure what happens during non outdoor weather, but it worked in our favor. DRINKS 3/5. First cocktail was tequila sunrise (I think) it was jalapeño tequila with blood orange purée. It was neither spicy, nor blood orange-y. It was like lime water. I was expecting a spicy blood orange margarita situation by the description. Unclear what went wrong there. Second drink was the blue cheese martini. It was really good. Had large blue cheese stuffed olives with fresh cracked pepper on top of the drink and it wasn't too dirty. APPETIZER: 3/5. We opted to share the prosciutto burrata flatbread. Round crust that wasn't very flat bread like, but more of what you would expect from a cauliflower crust. It was more crispy. The pesto, prosciutto and burrata were good but too much of a balsamic glaze that got all over my hands and it was so sticky. I had to wash my hands. LUNCH: 4/5. Grilled chicken sandwich. I enjoyed this sandwich. Chicken was cooked well, the bacon was good and overall very enjoyable. Fries were a bit soggy, but good flavor. read more

I've heard nothing but great reviews of this restaurant. So, my fiance and I went on a Saturday night, got there around 715 pm. Was told there will be a 45 min wait which we didnt mind bc we were gonna get drinks at the bar. We go to the bar, wait 15 min before one of the 2 bartenders acknowledge us. We ordered to drinks, jalapeno margarita which tasted like a premix margarita with a jalapeno thrown in the glass. Tasted horrible. My fiance got some kind of watermelon drink, from one of their signatures drinks. That too was so sweet you couldn't even finish it. So now we're already getting a bad vibe, we get seated around 810pm. We had one of the nicest waitress. Im sorry I forgot your name. We ordered the mussel's which were highly recommended, and both dinners were the scallops. Before you know it, the 2 dinners came, we both look at each other and said where are the mussels? Lol. We continue to eat the very small portion of the very 4 small scallops that were served over corn and green beans for $33. Waaaay over priced in my opinion. Our waitress come over to see how everything was, we said they're good but what about our mussels? She apologized and said ill go check. By the time they finally came we were done with our meals. We were still so very hungry because of the small portion we ate the mussels. They had such a terrible taste to them (really fishy) but were so hungry I ate them anyways. I would have given a lower review if the staff wasn't so good. Our server, Liz, was incredible. The people busing tables were extremely attentive. Our starters and salad (mussels and wedge salad) were very good. My husband had the strip steak main, which was fine. I had the shrimp and mushroom pasta, it was a huge disappointment. The dish had 5 shrimp, all with tails on, and entirely lacked seasoning. I asked for parmigiana to try to help the dish and they had run out. The owner should give Liz a raise because despite my lukewarm feelings on the food, I would go back and try her recommendations. I went on a Saturday night and there was live music. My favorite is they have vegetarian (and vegan) friendly options! I tried the sweet potato tacos, which sounds simple but I don't know how they made something so "simple" pack so much flavor! This place has the spacing just right, and with their high ceilings it just makes it nice airy and open. We had their speciality coffee drinks which was great. Amazing food and great service! Me and my boyfriend came in the other night for the first time, we ordered the scallops and roasted half chicken. They were both so good, especially the chicken! I would definitely order both again. Also, we had the sweetest waitress, Rose, who was very attentive and sooo kind! Holy yum! I had the opportunity to try several dishes from the fall menu and WOW. The service was friendly, prompt and accomodating. There are plenty of drink options and they were all executed well. From appetizers to dessert-- I was not disappointed at all. There were plenty of options that everyone would find something they love. We had reservations for outdoor seating on a Sunday at 5:45. We were under an awning which was perfect. All the servers were polite and wore masks. The place was a lot busier than I expected for a Sunday- and after eating here I can see why! Delicious! I enjoyed the Pear cocktail, more dry then sweet- I recommend it. They also kept on top of refilling my water glass. We shared Brussels sprouts (omg) and the fig flatbread (outstanding). The summer scallops were so fresh, and the corn salad/relish side complemented it so well, especially with the tiny pieces of bacon in it. Next time I def want to try the short ribs. Best side? The parm truffle fries!!! For dessert the chocolate mouse is made in house and is so rich. Comes with strawberries and was the perfect end to a great meal. Final note- my hubby forgot his sunglasses, when we realized we called them and the hostess had already taken them up to her stand. We pulled back up and were so thankful when she handed them to us. When we got there there were a few empty tables outside but we were told they were only taking reservations, no walk ins (new policy due to COVID or something). The cocktails I ordered weren't to my liking but maybe that's on me.
