It has a great view of the bay and a casual, friendly atmosphere. Soup or salad was included with dinner and were both tasty, then we had strip steak and salmon, both well-prepared and presented with appropriate accompaniments. Great attentive service even though the room was busy and the hostess/owner, Karen, checked on all the guests to make sure all was well. We'll definitely return. It also includes 2 strips of bacon, a piece of ham, and a sausage patty. Sounds delicious, but the home fries are not from home, they are likely frozen, and they were way overdone. I couldn't even get my fork into many, and they were so bland. I doused them in ketchup and the "awesome sauce" on the table. No help. The pepper and onions were largely absent.. They were so finely diced, and also overcooked, it was easy to miss. Sausage, bacon, and ham were VERY crispy and a little burnt, but they were still tasty. The eggs were spot on. It came with meat sauce or sausage gravy. Both were very rich. I passed on my meat sauce (too much allspice and/or nutmeg for me). Husband ate his gravy. He said it was sausage forward, with little gravy, but definitely scratch made and good. Full points for that. Coffee was ok, nothing great, a little weak. Now, I will give them credit as we came in at the end of breakfast. So maybe that was it. We got what they had left. The staff was great! I think we missed the mark and should have gone with garbage plates.
