Unfortunately, I chose to order subs from Little Italy. Got the subs home, take a bite, another, it's clear the turkey is bad. Most places would just refund. Instead, they offer to remake or give a credit. I don't want a credit and certainly don't want more expired turkey. Asked for the owners number. I'll update if there is a better outcome. read more

This is a cute little place with really excellent service! The staff person who took our order could not have been more welcoming, and was excellent with kids. They have a quick serve area where you can place the order at the counter and take it to go or eat right there in a small seating area, or you can get table service in the dining room. We opted for quick serve and got some of the huge slices - cheese, pepperoni and mushrooms, along with the homemade chocolate chip cookies, and a slushie, which the staff offered to do a swirl with the two flavors, which ended up being a big hit. Also, the pizza is always burning hot when you get it, which makes it unappealing. The cheese on the pizza feels like there is almost none, and the sauce taste is overwhelming. I have never been to regular sized Italy, so I'm not sure how Little Italy compares to the real thing, but I do know they've been doing live music on Saturday nights. I went there a couple of Saturdays ago, we got the pizza and pitcher of beer special. I forget the actual price, but for a large cheese with a pitcher of draft beer its a pretty good deal. They threw on the SU basketball game for us and we listened to some stellar live music, not a bad night. The only disappointment was that SU lost, but I cannot blame the restaurant on that one. Stopped in to Little Italy for dinner on a Tuesday night, and we didn't leave disappointed! It wasn't terribly busy for a weeknight, and we were greeted quickly when we arrived. The atmosphere is casual, and I could really see this place bustling on a Friday night. My pizza was very tasty! The crust was crispy and it was just the right amounts of sauce, cheese, and toppings. My wife opted for a pizza roll... essentially a calzone rolled instead of folded. Hers had an enormous amount of pepperoni inside, so much so that it wasn't quite cooked all the way through. I have to give this place 5 stars even though I've only been here three times. The first time I was walking up to the outer door and was greeted with the nicest smile through two doors! I walked in and said it was my first time. She warmly welcomed me. I asked about all of the pizzas they had on display. Came to Seneca Falls for my grandson's graduation. His favorite place is Little Italy's restaurant. I looked over the menu and decided to get the Philly cheese steak. They cut the steak themselves making it fresh. I requested marinara sauce to be mixed in with the steak onions peppers and mushrooms while it was being cooked. They obliged. I ordered some macaroni salad as well. I took only about 10 minutes and the sandwich came out. There was a copious amount of meat and filling. The Marinara sauce was very good. It was delicious, 5-star. In fact it was probably one of the best philly cheese steak in this area. Kudos to the cook Sean. I'll be back here again. Mainly because my daughter lives here. read more

My customer and I arrived late and had the place to ourselves. Sitting at a booth by the window over looking downtown Geneva and learning this is where they had filmed "It's a Wonderful Life". Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable. I started off with a house salad and we split a medium vegetable pizza. A medium has 8 slices and was too much. All toppings including onion, mushroom and spinach were very fresh. The crust wasn't NYC thin, but not Chicago style either. Very tasty. read more

Unfortunately, Little Italy has made me see the Yelp light. What a disaster. This was the *worst* dining experience of my life - and I've eaten on a NY Subway while a rat ran across my shoes. The service - looking at you, "manager" James - was confrontational, rude, and unprofessional. My pasta was served in a bowl of oil. I was told this is what James calls "sauce" - so we soaked a napkin in it to see. Yep, still oil. A BOWL FULL OF OIL AFTER A TWO HOUR WAIT FOR THE FOOD? My Mother-in-law's dish was just as bad - but at least she could get drunk off of hers. A bowl of wine pasta. (On Mother's Day, no less! Wish we'd have gone anywhere else.) The young waitresses we dealt with were kind and helpful. I felt so bad for them working in this hostile environment we were witness to and hope they quit ASAP. It's unacceptable the way they serve me the Chicken Marsala a plate floating with pasta & water so it was a watered down soup chicken Marsala. I ate Chicken Marsala in the past and this is the worst. On the other hand, it took 25 minutes for me to receive this single item. *** I ordered the Buffalo Roll, essentially a buffalo blue cheese calzone. It's presented in a "boat-style" manner- a hearty portion of chicken finger breading and white meat, mozzarella and lots (LOTS) of buttery buffalo sauce. Does it look appetizing? It sure does. The presentation is marvelous. *** It took nearly 30 minutes for my order to come of of the kitchen, however. I've worked in pizzarias before, and a wait time like that means only one thing, generally speaking: cooks who aren't exactly rushing their way through getting ordered food items out to the customer, but who rather take some leisurely liberties with the pace they work at. *** Sure, a calzone is going to have to take longer than ten minutes to bake fully in the oven, especially one with meat in the middle. But 30 minutes seems a bit ridiculous. In their defense (I AM giving them three stars, of course, which is a mostly positive review) they did warn me the order might take a while, though I in no way expected to have to sit through an entire television episode on their TV while I waited for my dinner. *** Would I come back? Hot Ham and Swiss: - was told when ordering that sub didn't come with any condiments, so I asked for the usual suspects (let, tom, on, mayo and dressing). When I got sandwich home, only had ham, swiss and tomato on it...nothing else.....to top it off, it wasn't even toasted or 'warm'. Cheeseburger Sub: - this was completely inedible. Bun was loaded with lettuce and tomato with the well done burger patty just plopped on top of the roughage. There was no way to pick it up to consume.... Actually ended up throwing both away.... One of the worst meals we've ever had at a restaurant. I ordered penne with vodka sauce with extra sauce as previous visits the pasta was a bit dry. Husband ordered chicken riggies. Plates come out, my vodka sauce was 90% cream and flavorless. Husbands riggies were dry so he ordered extra sauce. Both of us left more than half of our food behind because it didn't taste good. Bill shows up and we were charged $7.90 for the extra vodka sauce and $5.49 for the extra riggie sauce! We expected an upcharge but come on! Husband was charged $1.99 for his side salad (wasn't included in the $19.99+$5.49 meal he purchased.) total bill was over $68 and we didn't eat most of our food. Our waitress was very nice but told us the manager wouldn't do anything about our meals. When we complained about how bad everything tasted she commented, "yeah, I know who's cooking tonight" which wasn't very reassuring. Everything was dirty and there were flies and gnats flying around.
