The last few months we have ordered from Guida's in the village and the pizza has been consistently great. We order the thin crust and its crispy and has a nice wood fired char. The sauce is sweet and flavorful. Wings have always been meaty and they have a large selection of sauces. The Greek salad is a large portion and easy to share between my small family. Glad to have great pizza so close by as we usually have had to drive down to Naples for it. read more

First time here, my parents were in town and their hotel was nearby. The pizza was really good!

I decided to try Guida's in Webster. I went to their app and selected Delivery. I received a confirmation from Guida's email saying it was "powered by Chownow". Delivery at 6:05pm. I called at 6:25pm to be told I was a Grubhub customer, I told them NO I ordered through you and you need to track whoever you contracted to deliver it. I called back at 6:45pm spoke to manager who said he had called Grubhub and they picked it up to deliver 1 hour later after it was made. They charge $7.95 for delivery plus tip so a pepperoni pizza was $40. Needless to say pizza was cold and dough was tough from sitting. Begging Chownow for the refund. read more

Honestly, the food here is great. Always really enjoyed everything I've gotten from them. Man, I really hate being a Karen, but unfortunately, the third party app (ChowNow) they use for delivery orders borderlines on fraud. I made an order for me and my sons for the NFL draft at 745pm. Checked Google that the restaurant was still open and their was no warning on the app to not make an order. I made the order (around $100) and the financials were completed and executed. The restaurant can (and did) arbitrarily decide to not fulfill the order (later found out they felt it was just too close to when they wanted to go home to prepare the food)...literally the app allows them to just decide not provide the goods that were paid for. When checking on my order status after some time, the app said my order was cancelled by the restaurant and I would get a refund in 4-7 days. They might hold my funds for a week! Admittedly, I am not one who takes this kind of service well, so I called the restaurant, spoke to a manager on duty and basically told them that the only positive outcome I could see is for me to come down and get the order or a physical refund, preferably the food...to which the manager on duty responded "OK". I drove down to the restaurant, which was still open and servicing customers, to hopefully get my order filled. None of the staff wanted to speak with me on my arrival so I waited for the owner. We definitely met at the wrong time in our lives, and I can't blame him, and I will give him some grace, for the names he called me and the words he used when I didn't want to take "no" for an answer on either getting my order or a physical refund. I regret the interaction with the owner, but as a single Dad, the $100 I budgeted for doing something cool for my boys, is not a small amount of money to be held up for a week. It is an insanely bad business model that a third party app can take an order and execute the financial transaction, without any formal assurances that the partner restaurant has obligation to fulfill the order. If the partner restaurant can simply decide to not take an order, then the app should not execute the financials until the order is confirmed by the partner restaurant. They can simply take your money, tie it up for a week, and have no obligation to fulfill the order. Crazy. read more

Wow! This place really let's you customize! You can change the thickness of the pizza, tons of toppings to choose from, an extensive list of non spicey wing sauces, three sauce choices for the pizza (garlic, red sauce or mixed), you can even order the wings all drums or all flats! Everything was delicious but the wings really stood out. They were well seasoned and had a nice crispy outside with a juicy tender inside. Not gonna lie, this place has pretty good pizza! I'm not sure what's up with the low star reviews as yes Rochester has a ton of great pizza but this place is certainly not worthy of a low rating. The pizza here is good, (not the best) but quite good. I will say however that it's a little pricy for their pizza so that is something I wish they would address. I love putting meatball on my pizzas from here as it tastes really really good, they also have a really good meat lovers pizza from here as well. Definitely check this place out! read more

I had never been to this location before. I called ahead, and ordered a cheese sub and garlic knots. The person on the phone was very confused by a sub with just cheese on it (no meat), but they figured it out. It was supposed to take 25 minutes, and it took just about that exactly. The cheese sub was pretty good. It had a TON of cheese! I never complain about too much food though. I just took some off and saved it and used it later. I did specifically ask for no swiss though, and they gave me swiss. The garlic knots were incredible!!! Probably the best garlic knots we've ever had!!! They were really garlic-y, too! Some garlic knots are just like plain breadsticks. These were not, and my car still smells like garlic, lol. I also asked for ranch rather than marinara, and they got that right. I do wish they'd get online ordering. The sign says it is "coming soon", so I don't know when that will actually be happening. I would definitely come here again. We know that place is closing soon which is unfortunate. We've ordered food from them for years, including supporting them through the pandemic. Our last experience with them was not great. Overcooked, dry and black pizza crust. It was actually crunchy. We wish the staff there much luck in the future, but we're disappointed in what will be our last run at the pizzeria. read more

So many options for pizza, slices, wings and sides. You can even choose all drums or all flats when ordering your wings. Speaking of wings, some of the best wings Ive had. Ordered all flats, garlic Parm and breaded. Super juicy and well coated with flavor!! They have incredible garlic knots as well, that comes with a side of red sauce. Guida's has really good brick oven pizza. We got a large, regular crust, red sauce with cheese and pepperoni. I have no complaints about the pizza. Very yummy! My husband is obsessed with fried dough and we got an order of that as well. I found the fried dough hard to bite and chew... Did not enjoy it at all. My work often gets a sheet breakfast pizza from here and it is AWESOME. I'm not a HUGE fan of the thick sheet pizza dough but it's a tasty treat every now and then. I decided to order here instead of our "usual" Marks Pizza or Salvatore's because of the convenience of the location. (Which I had a Salvatore's $10 large pizza coupon for - which was very temping because I like to save money) I love that it is attached to Hegedorn's! But because I had a Redbox movie to return and had to pick up some eggs... I enjoyed the "One stop shopping" with those two AND be able to pick up the pizza. Pricing seems comparable to other pizza shops in the area. Wish they had better coupons though. You can go online and find their coupons but none of them fit what we wanted. Boo! Ordered a Guida's pizza for the first time in 15 years. I forgot that their pizza came in a square shape which you don't find very often. The pizza was nice and crisp. There wasn't too much sauce which is on the sweet side. Perfect amount of cheese and not too much grease. Toppings where portioned well. Overall a very good pizza at a reasonable price. My friend just brought me an order of Sweet and Sour Wings from Guida's in Webster, NY. I always thought their wings were great, but this time I was so disappointed, I'll never be back. The online menu specifically states that the Sweet and Sour Wings are lightly breaded, but mine came unbreaded. I called the restaurant to return the wings and get the breaded wings as specified, but neither the phone person or manager would remedy the problem. I'm sorry, but if a restaurant won't stand behind their online advertisement, I won't be a customer of theirs. False advertising? Fraud? If you don't follow the online menu, please CHANGE IT!!! Five Stars for the pizza and some amazing deals. The best pizza in Webster. We normally get the half a sheet or the traditional round pie (fun to mix it up) with pepperoni and mushrooms. Also, I enjoy a dozen of the breaded Sweet & Sour wings. You can get this combo with a coupon (online) for $26 (the coupon is for $20, so add tax and extra for 2 toppings). Be warned, the pizza box says, "Wood Fired!" I think they do this at another branch, but it doesn't affect my rating. I don't recommend their sandwiches. When baked, they were too hard (tough) to eat. We never ordered one of their salads or breakfast. They have a great repeat customer promotion. Basically, buy ten and get one free with Guida Bucks. This place is mainly for takeout or delivery (they charge a fee). If you go for lunch, they have some amazing pizza that you can order by the slice (huge). They have them for dinner too, but we had a hard time catching them (the pizza is usually gone around 7pm, when we like to eat). You can walk next door (its connected) to a grocery store for a movie (they have a redbox) or anything else you'd need on your way home. You can dine in, but we don't recommend it. The seats aren't very comfortable and you have to order and pick-up from the counter. If they ever made this an actual sit-down place that served beer, we'd give it Five Stars. read more

I loved the Guida's in penfield. We just moved to Webster and we were dying for some pizza. Ordered an extra large pizza (love that they have that size, slightly bigger than a large, but perfect when a sheet is just too much food). They told us the delivery guy would be there in 45 min. An hour and half goes by. I called in to see where our order was. The guy says "Are you sure you ordered with us? I can't find your order?" Well 12 min goes by and they finally found our order and he says "oh he left 30 min ago he should be there soon). Finally the guy came with our pizza. And it was all burnt!! Really bad customer service I order pizza, a burger and some other items the order came up to $41 and some change. This isn't a huge deal, but it was in part because they gave part of our order to someone else right in front of him. There was no apology or explanation.
