Not to sound cheesey, but my cheesesteak was almost buttery, that's how much cheese there was. Not too much, but the perfect amount. The fried onions were done Just right. One of the best Italian restaurants in the area, everything is outstanding. Great employees, the owners are amazing and do a great job on fixing any mistakes that may happen. The food is absolutely delicious , I'd recommend the taco pizza probably on of the best pizzas I've ever had. I have eaten here several times in the last two weeks, but I no longer will. Today, several of the cooks either had their masks below their nose or off entirely. The man who looked like the primary cook had his below his nose the entire time, and often below his upper lip. The woman who took my order always has her mask on and is very professional. I cannot say the same for the cooks. Don't risk it. Don't eat here. There are pizza places everywhere. Avoid this one. They do not practice safety measures for COVID. read more

Ordered take out so that is why I give three stars. The margarita pie would have tasted better if it was hot by the time I got it home. The crust was good. The sauce fresh. The cheese tasty. I'm sure eating this in the restaurant right out of the oven would have elevated this to four, possibly 5 stars. We also had the small Caesar salad which was nice. Dressing tasted home made. Amazing pizza! My go to place. The taco pizza is do delicious! We recently had family in town for my grandmothers funeral and Rocco's did an awesome job with the catering. I highly recommend the chicken piccata if you need to feed a lot of people. It was extreme tasty. I have been coming to Rocco's for years. It's my go-to pizza place. There are certain things here that are off-the-charts good. The pizza here, especially the brick oven style, is fantastic. The cheesesteaks and chicken cheesesteaks rock! The Rocco's Supreme hoagie is amazing. The pasta is good, but not great. The deep fry items are passable, but not their strong suit. Their cannoli are awesome. I think they are just as good as Termini Brothers in the Reading Terminal Market. And I just started ordering the Tiramisu which is also tasty. I am usually disappointed by Tiramisu, but I like Rocco's tiramisu a lot. I think it's a generally underrated pizza and sandwich place which should get more recognition. read more

This used to be my jaaaam after school when I still lived in good ol' Dtown. The sicillian pizza is the best I've ever had. My usual order was a slice, six mild wings, and onion rings. Don't judge me please :) So good. Pretty sure my parents still order from here weekly as well. read more

This USED to be our go to for Superbowl Sunday. It's weird how it's been deteriorating ever so slightly. After ten years, the cheese fries aren't as good (I get different cheeses sometimes, and other times barely any), the wings taste like charcoal (hot wings), and the pizza is average at best now. Was driving by the other day with my girlfriend and just by site I said "this is the place to eat around here" and went in and got the Steak Stromboli. The right amount of stringy cheese that doesn't want to leave the piece you're eating or piece that's still on the plate. My girlfriend got some type of pizza with Spinach on it that's just not my thing but she also loved her meal as well. I was not happy with the Sicilian pizza I ordered. There was barely any sauce and the mozzarella cheese seemed weird, like it wasn't real cheese. I'm sure it was but even reheating it, it was kinda transparent. I did enjoy the salad but I guess you can't really get a bad salad. The lasagna was the best out of all. Went back to this place for pizza 3x since I wrote my original review. Im done, they are dirty and I will never go back. My problem is they have the cashier who is touching dirty money all day heat your slices up for you. She never washes her hands and goes strait to get your pizza from the register without washing her hands or putting on gloves. This may sound anal but on one occasion she started scratching her head. Then on another visit she was rubbing her nose. That was it for me! I stopped her right there and said cancel my order I changed my mind, then I left right away. Who the hell in this day and age does that? Everyone knows money is the dirtiest item you touch besides the handle at the gas pump. Bad customer service. I've been going to Roccos for over 30 years and it has always been the go to place for pizza and cheese steaks. When the previous owner sold the quality of the food didn't suffer that much but the customer service sure did. The new owner is very rude and crass. Even before this COVID-19 situation her comments and mannerisms were very negative and she always acted annoyed. The last straw was when we order 3 pizzas and told it would be 20 minutes. When I arrived there was a line outside and had to wait 45 minutes. After i gave them my number they said 5 more minutes. I thought maybe they will worm up the pizzas because it has been about hour since they were supposed to be done. They gladly took my money and i was told to wait with the other 10 people inside. So much for social distancing. After 20 minutes they were still taking peoples money and telling them to wait. When i went back up to the window they said 5 minutes. Seriously??!!! I told them the pizzas must done by now and told them my number again which they had a hard time finding. I told them what 3 pizzas i ordered and after a frantic search they found my order and placed them on the counter. When i went to check if they were correct the owner lashed out at me and told me not to open the box and pushed the lid shut. I told here i just wanted to make sure they were correct since I spent the last hour waiting. She told me I wasn't allowed to and have a nice day very condescendingly. As I left the other 14 people inside waiting for they overdue orders, I wondered why Roccos hasn't figured out how to handle orders with curbside pick up like all the other restaurants are doing. I will not be ordering from Roccos again. I now give my business to someone who appreciates its customers and doesnt have them wait for their orders. Pomodoro's restaurant in Downingtown has great food there and the customer service is spectacular. They even opened up a gelato bar. Better food, better customer service at Pomodoro's. And as it turns out, the owner of Pomodoro's was the original owner of Roccos. read more

Been coming here since I moved to the area 14 years ago, has always been a friendly, quality neighborhood spot. Great pizza, pretty good cheesteaks and hoagies. Feels like its been going downhill over the past few months. Pizza not as good, sometimes cold, just doesnt feel like the same effort is there anymore. My last visit was tonight, arriving 25 minutes after i ordered, waiting in line...no problem. Pizza was handed over immediately, then taken back, while the rest of my small order took another 30 minutes. No updates, barely a look, as plenty of workers take payments, then leave everyone waiting in an awkward huddle waiting for food (which sadly ended up being cold and old by the time i returned home around the corner). A little more effort getting people taken care of, and a little less on getting their money, might go a long way. Not the same Rocco's I used to love. read more

Hands down, best pizza in the area! They've got a wood fired oven as well as traditional. Something as simple as their regular cheese pizza is loaded with flavor. The specialty pies are fantastic as well. Every now and then we order the pasta dishes and are extremely happy. As previous reviewers stated, they do get busy, which tells you something. We were staying at a nearby hotel for a weekend show, and we had dinner one night at Rocco's. Definitely above average pizza and the wait staff was right on top of things. This is the kind of place that travelers stopping in the area are going to want to look for when they want some really good food in places they might not normally expect. I was recommended this place for the pizza, but when I wentI decided to try their pasta. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs, which comes with salad and bread. The salad is fine, it's your typical garden salad with a dressing packet. They give you a big portion of the bread but I just found it hard and kind of flavorless. As for the spaghetti, it was really bad. The sauce just seemed like something you'd get from a can, and the meatballs were awful. I don't know if it's lack of flavor or just that they taste old somehow, but I couldn't finish the meal. The meatballs didn't taste like meat. The staff is pretty friendly and I noticed there seemed to be a lot of regulars, so maybe I just shouldn't have ordered something other than pizza, but I couldn't believe what I was served was considered restaurant quality. It reminded me of something you'd eat on one of those styrofoam plates in college. I hate to be negative, but I wouldn't recommend this place based on my experience here. read more

We just tried Rocco's for the first time....amazing! First we got a slice of their tomato pie, the best tomato pie ever. Thin and crispy, with fabulous flavor, it made us wish we had just ordered an entire pie to share. That was until the Margerita pizza came out. Rocco's is such a great casual restaurant. they are know for their pizzas, and they sure are great, but we come for their dinners!! they are an absolute must and completely underrated! I am sicilian and know good Italian cooking from my nonna. Most restaurants fail to serve real italian home cooking, but Rocco's is not one of them. Rocco's reminds me of my nonna's house!! To start, we always have to get their fries. they always come out so crispy and tender on the inside. their fired mushrooms are also great! Their Eggplant parmesan with linguini is to die for. Literally just like my nonna's! its VERY lightly breaded, then pan fried to perfection. The sauce is so flavorful and made from the finest san marzanos. Linguini is always cooked al dente and perfect every time. Their Marsala is also one of our go to's!! either chicken or veal, both are amazing!! the marsala sauce itself is so sweet, and luxurious, its like candy!! its bursting with mushrooms. If you get the chicken, its sooo juicy and tender, the veal is lightly breaded and cooked to perfection as it is so tender as well. All their entrees come with complementary salads which are always fresh and crisp. it also comes with warm bread, and their bread is homemade and the best!! I just wish they would provide oil on the tabe for dipping, but I just save my bread to sop up the sauce from my dinner. We typically eat in, but their take out is also great. the service is amazing and so attentive. they only have waitstaff after 5pm, so if you go to eat in before that, you have to pick up your food at the counter when they call you. I highly recommend Rocco's!!! Their pizza is the best in town, but like I said, their entrees are the best and the real deal, so if you typically get pizza, try changing it up and give their entrees a try, you won't regret it! read more
