We have been ordering from Amore Pizza for @5 years. They have always been ok. Convenience, free delivery are the biggest reasons. I recently had a horrible experience with them and will not be using them ever again. I ordered a taco pizza and one with all the toppings a that included extra cheese. I was disappointed when I did not receive a taco pizza or a pizza with extra cheese. I called to let them know about the mistakes and asked to speak to a manager. To my knowledge I spoke to one - she never identified herself. I told her about the mistakes and she sounded annoyed and told me they could remake them, but it would be an hour plus before they got to me. I said "seriously? You screwed them up and you are going to make me wait another hour?" She made it sound like the problem was mine and explained they were busy. I know they are - this is why I had already waited @1 hour the first time and now I am being told it will be a total of 2 hours to get the right pizza? She said I could get a refund, so I said I will take it. The order did not get canceled and my cc was charged. I called the store and asked if I could talk to a manager. Unfortunately I knew by her voice I had the same lady on the phone who once again was not friendly or helpful. When I said Good Morning, is there a manager I can talk to she responds with "we are not open yet." Why are you answering the phone then?? Also, why not kindly say something like "they are not in yet, may I have someone call you?" It is not hard. Since I recognize the voice I tell this lady (who I still do not have a name for and I have no idea if she is a manager) that I talked to her the other night regarding my pizza order. I tell her my cc was charged. She immediately gets defensive which makes me mad and I decided at the moment I am done. I just hung up on her. I decided rather than get my money back, I will post a review and order from the 50 other pizza places around here so I do not have to deal with this lady again. Whomever the heck she is. Honestly not sure what is up with Amore! I ate here regularly for years and in the last few months the quality and taste of the food has just been awful. I got a pizza recently that was inedible. There was this weird "dust" all over the bottom and crust, maybe burnt flower or something but I tasted so bad. Also I know it's been a while but I'm still disappointed the took the CYO Fat Sandwich's off the menu- that was always a go to for me. It was a delicious cheeseburger done perfectly with all the Wright fixings and they even in blazing their name on the top of the bun. Tonight I ordered food from this place. I have an autistic son that will only eat a burger without the bun. Order placed and given to chef . Chef decides that he won't read the order and puts it all together with a bunch. Cheese and bacon all stuck to the bun. There is no way he will eat that. Call back and they tell me they will send a proper order right out. This is after waiting 45 minutes for the first order. Another 50 minutes after I called back. Now we're into an hour and a half waiting for food. UNACCEPTABLE. I will go see the manager in the morning to get my money back. As if I had just ventured somewhere on the menu no man has ever dared to tread. My heart began to race. She handed me a number and I'll never forget this, she goes "it should be around 10-15 minutes" On the verge of tears I made my way back to my seat. I felt as though I made the wrong choice. In my episode of sheer self doubt, I felt the intrusive thoughts trickling down my soul like hot candle wax. I felt like Pope from Outer Banks right when I needed to be John B. My name was called in such a dubious tone. Almost as if the man recognized my inner war. I opened up my bites, took one bite. And there I was. An Italian beach. I turned around. I saw angels in the architecture spinning in infinity. I saw couples drinking wine in the sand. I saw men whistling at women walking past but it was justified due to the period of time. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered the diva and baked ziti through grub hub, I received baked ziti and fettuccine Alfredo. I called and the lady was extremely rude. Hung up the phone not once but twice on me and said there's nothing they could do since I was unable to drive and pickup the food. She claimed there was no delivery drivers available. They were "too busy to deal with this" quite on quote. I guess paying customers mean nothing? Pretty disappointing when you spend $50 on pasta to get the complete wrong order. The amore employee also blamed it on grub hub saying to "take it up with them". Not our first terrible experience with amore. We paid a grub hub and delivery fee for no reason because of AMORES mistake. Another time we ordered right from the restaurant not grub hub/door dash. The driver was terribly rude, and concerning. Texting me multiple times to (come and get your food!! Aren't you going to answer your phone?! Hello?" And proceeded to call and text me MULTIPLE TIMES, when I ordered delivery for a reason!!! I finally answered his call and he was extremely rude and demanding I come outside and get the food at his car (pretty scary) instead of following the clear directions to leave my order in the lobby. Driver forgot my 2-liter of soda and they screwed up the quesadilla order giving me chicken instead of vegetarian. The driver had the gaul to have an extra $5 tip charge screen pop up that I refused to authorize. The driver promised me he would be right back with my correct quesadilla and the 2-liter. I foolishly signed the delivery invoice believing the driver. Foolish me. He never returned with either item nor were the charges removed before they closed tonight. Now I have to call the tomorrow to remove the charges. Save yourself the headache and don't order delivery from this place. Found this place on a whim trying to brace ourselves from the cold. We originally were looking for the place next door that called itself a cafe but we misread and ended up here. This price of the food is cheap considering how much you are given. I whole "small" pizza and a fountain drink is $11. The "small pizza was quite large itself though and extremely tasty and fresh! My friend ordered soup and an omelette all for $7 and she got a huge bowl of soup, homemade potato chips, toast, and a large omelette. We decided to give it another chance since that was only one time. Today we ordered pizza, chicken parm hoagie and a chicken caramelized onion calzone.
