Came here on a Saturday night- the place was decently busy, but we were seated right away. Upon first impression, this looked like a fun restaurant. I liked the rock theme and the various artists painted on the walls. I also loved the music!! We heard Journey, Green Day, Rolling Stones & Prince (and many more). I'm unsure how I felt about our waitress. It took awhile to greet us, then she didn't really check on us overly often. I try to be sympathetic to the labor shortages in the industry, but waiting 15+ minutes for your bill is a bit....long. The food I thought was decent. It's about inline with what you would expect for a chain. We ordered the Blackened Chicken Pasta and the Demon Chicken Sandwich. Would I come again? If you're into a little bit into music and Americana inspired food, this place would fit the bill pretty nicely. Located out in a growing part of north Tampa,, the area is pretty busy and popular. This retaurant is located right next to the premium outlet mall so you can do some shopping before or after you grab some grub. Parking is ample and the wait time isn't usually more than 30 minutes. Keep in mind on Friday and Saturday it can get really busy. Walking in, you'l see a bar area on the left weith taps and an outdoor seating area on the right (connected to another bar). Bar seating isn't bad and sometimes it's preferable if it's real busy. They are playing comtemporary rock most of the time and the atmosphere is laid back. Service is good and they will always make recommendations and both food and drinks if you ask and they always have specials running. I like to kick things off with the Sgt Peppers jalapeno poppers. They are crunchy on the outside with chese in the middle with a kick from the jalapenos. For the main dishes, I've had several differnt items, but I really like the chicken teriyaki bowl. It's basically chicken on rice with veggies and pineapple and a sweet teriyaki glaze on top. I'm partial to rice type dishes so it's probably why I like this one a lot. The cajun pasta is also pretty decent as is the sirloin steak. Keep in miond they always have specials and live events running at any given time. Came to watch the Bucs game with my mom and Aunt and had some incredible food! There is a football Sunday special for wings and nachos, and $5 bloody marys and purple haze (sangria)! Our server Keri was great, very attentive and such a sweetheart! They have some of the best wings in the area, and I love their Sweet & Spicy Asian Wings! How hard is it to make their own Mac and Cheese anyhow? From the time we were sat to the time the server returned to take our food orders, 40 minutes has passed . This was my first visit to Rock & Brews. This place is a traditional American restaurant with a lively theme and decent food. My brother hosted a group of 8 here for his birthday dinner. We arrived and everyone was seated around 630pm. The place wasn't super busy but people were here eating and enjoying themselves. It was semi-loud in here. The ambiance and theme stem from the owners, members of the classic rock band, KISS. TVs all around play music videos for the music you hear while dining. Classic rock, grunge, alternative played all night. It was familiar and enjoyable music. The service here was pretty slow for a not so busy place. We waited a good 20 minutes for our server to bring us waters and it was longer for the bar drinks. Once she got those out she got to putting in our food order. Jalepiño poppers were ordered for a table appetizer. I didn't have once since those tend to be too spicy for me. From what I was told, they were tasty. The spice was hit or miss. Some of them were spicy and others weren't spicy at all. For dinner, I ordered a traditional burger. It was fairly simple. Lettuce, tomato, pickles on a bun with cheese. Served with a side of fries. The burger itself was ok. I don't remember it standing out or hitting me as, dang, that's a good burger. The fries were slightly crispy but I've had better fries at other places. In the end, this place seems about as good as any. I wouldn't travel all the way to Lutz just for Rock & Brews. You could easily find any national chain sit down American restaurant and get the same experience. There didn't seem to be one thing that stood Rock & Brews out compared to another restaurants other than their music theme. Rock & Brews gets 3.5 stars from me. The food is good but it's basically a fancier Chili's. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but if I do end up here, the food is pretty good. The Teriyaki bowl was delicious as well as the Reuben. They have a great drink menu. The service was great especially for a Friday night. Amanda was very friendly and efficient. However, the music was so loud we could barely hear each other at the table and the waitress could barely hear us ordering. It was just very unnecessary to have the music playing that loud. Updating my review from 4 stars to 5 stars based on the impressive experience Rock put on for their exclusive New Year's Eve party. They brought in the four person band called 4x that was very impressive. They played from 9 to about 11:30. This group is set to play here again on 1/27/23. The food for this experience was a four-course buffet style that included several kinds of wings/drums, pulled pork, fall-off-the bone ribs, mash potatoes, pasta then plates of dessert brought to our tables with beneits, brownies and bread pudding. All the food was delicious and served by multiple friendly staff members. The drinks including alcohol were also unlimited and the service here was on point with several staff making sure to bring out drinks as they ran out. Plus they somehow remembered what each of was drinking during the four plus hour event. They even brought out champagne for the midnight New Years countdown! Switched the TVs to the national channel and we rang in the New Year with style. Everyone at our table was happy with the service and the food. The manager did an excellent job of ensuring they excelled at all levels. My friend holds numerous group gatherings here at Rock & Brew for this exact reason! read more

We definitely were full after this visits, I'm still dreaming about the purple rain drops If you've never been here just know it's a busy spot so expect a wait for sure. Ours was over an hour but the food ahead was definitely worth the wait. We got the biggest table near the bar which was way to big for our party and difficult to talk to each other but unfortunately if we didn't take the table the wait would have been longer for 8people. It all worked out in the end because as busy as it was good came out in a decent time frame and the Brussels sprouts were so delicious I could honestly do without the bacon but still so good! To be honest my husband did get a picture of the food as I asked him to BUT it's not on my phone or his so please forgive the absence of the food pictures! The food was very good. My husband had the ribs and he said they were very good and I had the blackened chicken pasta that was really good especially for a place that does not specialize in pasta. Came in for date night and despite expectations were that they'd be crowded like we remembered from our past visits, we were able to walk in and be seated right away. She finally arrived back and took our orders and the food was out in no time! I ordered the steak tacos with the black beans and hubs got the sweet heat fried chicken with mixed veggies. We also ordered a newer drink on the menu called the Ace of Spades which is a spicy drink! It was sweet at the first sip then the heat kicked in at the back of your throat. Not my forte and would not order again. However hubs enjoyed it. My steak tacos were amazingly delicious!! The taco shells were soft tacos but lightly fried to add a slight crisp with every bite which was quite nice. Hubs enjoyed his chicken and veggies also. After we were done and ready to get a box for our leftovers and the check, our server was nowhere to be seen. We sat and sat and sat some more. And it was FREEZING in this place. There's also live music available outside. They have a bar located outside as well. We were seated quickly and our food didn't take long at all. Waffle fries came out another 10-15minutes after the wings and were good but there were so few on the plate I don't feel like it's worth the side order. All in all okay spot. Went here for the first time tonight. It was very busy, but only a 20-30 minute wait to be seated. Outside in the waiting area are two large pictures with a bunch of faces of rock stars. My boyfriend and I had fun while we were waiting trying to see how many of the faces we could recognize and name. He was definitely way better at it than I was. Once we were seated it took a long time for our waitress to come to the table. The host noticed and stopped back at our table to get our drink order. I asked him what he liked on the menu and was very helpful in pointing out a few options. He said the Blackened Chicken Pasta was their most popular dish, and it was one of the choices I was eying on the menu. So I got that and my boyfriend got the Steak Tacos. The food was delicious! There was a large bar with a wide variety of craft beers. Big TVs all over playing videos of the music that was playing. Pictures everywhere of different bands and singers. It was a really fun place and the food was great. We will definitely be back and bring friends next time. First time at Rock & Brews! I will say the decor is pretty awesome. The murals of legends on the wall was great. The selection of videos of classic rock and old school was cool. They do have outdoor seating as well and it was noted there is live music on weekends after a certain time. Our waiter was training so I do feel our order was a bit of a slow process. Took a while to order after we were advised the bruschetta appetizer was no longer an option at 5:30pm on a Saturday. Um ok. Finally ordered and 5 out of the 6 meals came out initially and some weren't as hot as others. My dish came out about 5-7 min after everyone got theirs. We started with the jalapeño poppers and the heat and flavor was spot on. Entrees were good as well. I had a burger that was amazing. I arrived around 1:00 on a Saturday and it was an approximate 25 minute wait for an inside table. Inside bc we might as well be on the surface of the sun outside in July. Service was slow because they were so busy. The food seemed to be hit or miss. Our table shared a bunch of apps: cheese fries (great), brussel sprouts (meh), jalapeño poppers (good), and wings (decent). Drinks were okay but nothing you can't find somewhere else. The food here is nothing terribly special to where I would run out and have to drive an hour to get here. The atmosphere is like a glorified Applebees, but the staff is all very cool. I based my stars on the staff. We were greeted with a smile, and the poor waitress we had needed to come back a couple of times because my table kept gabbing and not really looking at the menu, so kudos to her for her patience. My guy had a birthday this day, and I told the waitress and she immediately went and got him an ice cream with whipped cream and sprinkles. Lol. It was sorta funny because we had just gotten our food - normally they wait until you're done. It was ok though. She was cute. My son and I wanted to split a meal and because we said we wanted to split, the waitress suggested to have them split into bowls for us. It come with 9 wings with $1.4 per wings is in the high price side. The wings did a good job with ghost pepper. My entree is the Blackened Redfish. This dish come with vegetables medley and rice. It top with crawfish sauce. Crawfish also taste good like Cajun. A very rare dish to have. My wife have the Carolina Slow Roasted Pork. The sauce is honey mustard sauce which is very similar to the BBQ we have when we travel to North Carolina. It come with steam veggies and we upgraded to sweet potatoes fried.
