Came to eat after the George Lopez Comedy show and the music is always a fun time. The bartenders move quickly and make good drinks. The food, however, left much to be desired. The fried calamari was overcooked, so it was chewy. The shrimp pasta wasn't horrible, and the shrimp were a good size and pasta a good portion. The Caesar salad was meh. The chicken had a nice grilled flavor but the salad was overall just a salad. I think I'll just enjoy the music and drinks instead! read more

Got a $10 off offer for food at the casino so figured I would try this. Initial impression- Burger seem overpriced without it ($16-$19)....but if good then whatever. Especially if they often offer discounts. Got their spicy burger (can't remember name) and what was supposed to be cinnamon and sugar crips things for desert. Came to about $32 before coupon Burger was ordered medium rare. Was way too salty and had no trace of pink. But if less salty might still have been good. Cinnamon and sugar crips were truly disappointing. Basically a couple of oily fried chip things with syrup. I could find no trace of cinnamon on two I tried before giving up.... Hoping it was a new chef or something and they forgot a step? Not sure....... But overall just disappointed. Service was a bit on the slow side, but I'm not usually too bothered by this. I had the Grilled Chimichurri Steak with Sweet Potato Fries and Broccoli with Garlic. The steak and chimichurri sauce were fantastic! Also, the sweet potato fries may have been some of the best I've ever had. I'm not sure how they cook the broccoli, but it had a funky taste I can't really explain but I hated it-- couldn't eat it. Broccoli aside, food was great. I never come out to casino but decided to come out and celebrate with my sister and brother in law. We went to Rocks and Brew for drinks and paid with a gift card. Honestly, I would have rated this place a 0 if there was that option. They lost our gift card and then told us they were not going to issue us another one and expect us to be ok with that information. After asking them to just check cctv to see where she flicked the card, they didn't want to and after asking for the manager, bartender told us no we couldn't talk to the supervisor either. They really expected us to leave without our money and not do anything about it when they were the ones that lost it. We waited around for 30 minutes just watching all the bartenders trying to look for the card. They even went to talk to the guest service team and the manager and came back and told us they can't do anything about the lost card. The associate didn't understand why they could not check cctv and do anything for us. I felt so bad for the associate because she even offered to pay us back when she got her paycheck. I told her no she don't need to do that and her manager should have came to talk to us to get this resolved. The worst part is that after all of this the manager, Britt walked by like nothing is going on and I randomly came up to ask her if she was the manager since she was the only person walking by with a name tag on. I told her we have a situation because you guys lost our gift card and she is telling us you are not going to do anything about it. Then she tells us yes she knew about it. Britt never even came out to handle the situation and had her associate came out to tell us that. And then Britt tried to call security on us because we were not ok with her decision. Worst call ever and experience in service. Being a district manager myself this was not appropriate way to even handle this matter. read more

Review for Tuesday April 30, 2024 approximately 7PM. With much excited anticipation, we decided to give Rock & Brews a try. Upon entering, strangely half of the tables were empty We were told the wait for a table would be 1 hour. No problem, placed our name and went to play the slots. At an 1 hour I went to look at the wall menu and the front told us that the manager had just canceled all seating with no explanations. I watched as take out orders were filled. Additionally they had no intention to notify us had I not walked up to the menu. Contacting the Rock & Brew supervisor, she told us that the kitchen only had 2 cooks and completely back logged. An hour later while eating at the Illani Taco Cantina, we amusingly received a text notification that our table had been canceled. A total of 2 hours later. Apparently the same cook shortage issues continues as of yesterday per the post by a Rock & Brew employee pleading for kitchen help. ***Edit.....The Rock & Brew employee complaining of staffing and lack of cooks removed her Yelp post. She also mentioned that two Rock & Brew Bartenders were fired by the casino for allegedly giving away free drinks Hopefully things will change. read more

We visited yesterday specifically to the new ilani location to-try the margaritas. Unfortunately the bartender had no clue how to make them. He tried serving us water down tequila with a splash of juice. After taking a sip we immediately sent them back! The worst part, we were half way through our meal when we finally received our drinks! It was so bad our waitress offered not to charge us; she made the comment "I can tell he wasn't making it right"! Yikes! The ambience is incredible, great music. Wow, haven't been here in a while. Amy, our server, thank you for being amazing! And what the heck??? The food was great! Something has definitely changed. There was a lot of attention to detail from seating individuals (using the whole restaurant instead of cramming everyone into the front half), to the service, to the food. Everything felt important, and it felt like I was important - they realized this was part of our entertainment budget that we didn't have to spend. We could have cooked at home. Most of the time, we cook at home because it's too expensive to have a mediocre experience. My husband and I did the Marguerita Pizza and the Smashburger with Sweet potato fries. All of it was great.
