I went to get quotes from many other shops & they were trying to swindle as much money as they could but NOT Roy! I needed my brakes & some rotors changed. Most shops told me I needed to change all my brake pads & rotors but Roy carefully inspected & told me I only needed my front pads, front rotors, & rear pads replaced, while I could flip my rear rotors, saving me a ton of money! I also had a loose door handle that Roy fixed for free!!! Who does that?!?! There's only one that I know, Roy Restad! I'm absolutely blown away by his amazing service. They have totally exceeded my expectations. This is now my go-to auto repair.

After towing it back, they kept it for a week with no updates, eventually charging me nearly $1,000 in labor just to "tighten cables" and drive it around town. When the issue returned again a few days later, I gave up and went to the dealership. They fixed it same-day, and it hasn't stalled since. I got a beater of a truck recently and was looking to get fluids flushed, specifically the transmission, and everyone else's quotes were so much higher that when I got the quote from Villa, I had to ask if it was a mistake. Did it include fluids, filter and gasket change too? You bet! It's crazy, but it's the real deal. Of course, going in for the insanely low pricing, I expected the work to not be fast or good, but I was wrong. The fluid change took maybe 30 minutes, in and out, no issue and the tranny changes gears like butter now. Also, I don't know if these guys noticed my power steering had a 2-inch play gap or not and fixed it for me or if it magically fixed itself, but I've been sitting on taking care of that since I got the truck, and to my surprise when I left, the power steering gap was gone and the steering was perfectly responsive. In either case, I either got great luck or great service. Now, before you go running off, understand this is a small personally-owned (?) shop, so you're not looking at a bunch of whiz-bang when you show up. It's modest and low-key just behind Burger King, but you don't go to a shop for sparkles and workers dressed in tuxedos, you go there for quality work at a good price...and that is Villa for sure. Here are my two standout experiences... A while back my car said it was overheating. I stopped by a Grease Monkey and they said I needed a new part that they would have to order and gave me a deadline. I was very suspicious of this . I then went to Burien Truck Repair and they told me they would look and charge me a diagnostic fee. In the end, they didn't need a new part, it just needed to be cleaned. They did that, lumped the diagnostic fee into the repair since they actually did it and saved me $200-300. They also gave me a ride to work while I waited! Next! Biggie! Things have been rough and my plate was stacked. I was pulling into the dentist last week and I suddenly heard the most horrendous noise. I was expecting to see a pipe dragging. Very flustered, I went in and the hygienist said she heard it too. I called BTR and Christy had me hold my phone out and drive back and forth a bit. She said that sounded terrible and, while they were about to close, rush over. I pulled in, getting many WTF looks. Christy ran over with another guy saying she heard it from the back. They immediately looked at it and said it wasn't safe to drive home and said they'd be on it first thing...and AGAIN gave me a ride! I got a call around 9 and...it was a rock. I drove over a rock and it wedged itself up behind my tire. The charge? $0! Wholly moly! So basically they are the best, not just in customer service and car repair, but hi just all around standout people. I can not express this enough. I would, and do, recommend them to everyone for everything. A million thanks to the whole Burien Truck Repair team!

So I bought a 2012 chevy sonic lt from the carhop down the street from this shop. The cars been…read morenothing but a headache. Breaking down on me only 3 weeks of driving it off the lot. Bitterling's auto has been doing their best to figure out why my car will not start as there seems to be an unknown internal issue. Ik Bitterling's team has been communicating with carhop the difficulties n have been doing their part. I recommend this shop due to their efforts, and soon to be, hopefully a return on my vehicle with no more issues.

I DROVE my car into Bitterlings, approved $500 worth of work, then got 2 more calls about an additional $200, then $150 worth of work needed. $850 total. When I was told I'd be able to pick my car up, I got another call that a part had FALLEN OFF my engine and it is NO LONGER RUNNING, requiring an additional $1050 worth of work to get it running again, a total of $1900. The car was older and almost at 100k miles so the estimated necessary work total had exceeded the value of the car. They still REQUIRED THAT I PAID the $850, even though this work did nothing to fix the vehicle because it NOW WON'T START. I also, went by the shop on a Saturday (not realizing they were closed for the entire weekend) to find my car parked on their lot with the DOORS UNLOCKED and my personal belongings inside. I was lucky nothing was stolen because they have signs all over their office saying they are not responsible for stolen property - so had anything been stolen, it would have been my responsibility, not theirs for leaving my vehicle unlocked on their unfenced, not secure property while they were closed with no one on site for 63 hours. ---- I am upset with the service here because I feel like I was taken advantage of and price gouged instead of hearing from an experienced mechanic about the extent of the work needed to repair my car. I was never given a full picture of the damage my car had sustained, instead I was told small estimates at separate times totaling to a lot of money that never actually fixed the car. Keep in mind, this car was running when I brought it to them so I basically paid for them to break my car and ask for even more money to fix that. I got multiple calls and estimates throughout the day while they were working on my car: 1st call- I was told I was lucky that I only needed $500 worth of work,  2nd call - thermometer needed to be replaced $200, 3rd call - small repair for oil leak $150. After approving all of this work and the 3rd time I had talked to them, they mentioned that the timing chain was stretched but I was told that it DIDN'T NEED TO BE FIXED and I could pick my car up by the end of the day. As the end of the day approached, I called to ask about picking up my car. She called back to tell me that while THE MECHANIC WAS DRIVING MY CAR OUT FOR PICKUP, THE TIMING CHAIN HAD FALLEN OFF AND NOW THE CAR WILL NOT START! To fix this they estimated an additional $1050 of work ($1,900 total). I said no to the work because I wanted to do some research, as now the total of all the work already approved and required, exceeded the value of the vehicle. Moneeba called me multiple times the day after my car broke asking for a decision on doing the additional work but when I asked for the estimates in writing she could not provide anything in writing. Moneeba said THEY DON'T PROVIDE ESTIMATES IN WRITING therefore, I must write it down myself (which is actually against the law in Washington to not provide written estimates for work over $100). She said she would try to put an invoice together with the work I had approved but it took 2 days to finally get the repairs they had done in writing. Still no written estimate for the work required to get the car running again. When I came in to speak to Moneeba and discuss options, she was defensive and demanding that they had done nothing wrong. The only thing that she did to right the wrongs of her shop (and I doubt she would have had I not requested it) was due to the fact that I could no longer drive my car off the property -  was she didn't charge me to store my car on the lot past the week mark while I tried to sell it. I'd also like to point out that the old owner, Don, no longer owns this auto shop and most of these reviews are for the business he ran. Bitterling's is not accredited by the BBB. Save yourself the hassle and stress I went through and go somewhere else!

PAB replaced my front bumper and repaired several other hidden parts after I hit a deer. They got the job done quickly and it looks like new. After having had a less than stellar experience with another Lucid authorized dealer, I was very happy to have such great service. Emilio got the parts ordered immediately and worked with my insurance to get an estimate quickly. He did a good job communicating the job status and returned my calls quickly. PAB is located just down the street from the Lucid dealership, which makes any vehicle transfers easy, and I can't recommend them enough. They even detailed the entire car before returning it to me!

Today was my lucky day because today is the day I walked into Pacific Auto Body (on Airport Way)…read more I had a minor scratch on my SUV from a collision with a yellow rail. Super minor job, and I wondered if they could fix it quickly and simply. And they did! Shoutout to Nick who so kindly drove out to a different location to pick up a buffer and cleaning material to get the yellow paint off. It worked like a charm and all the paint stains came off. I really appreciated their help and willingness to accommodate. I could also tell they were busy with a lot of customers' cars parked in their lot -- indicating to me their popularity. There are a lot of choices for auto body repair --major or minor-- in Seattle, but if you happen to be looking in the SoDo/Georgetown area, these are your guys and gals. Thanks Pacific Auto Body!
