Love it! I'll be short and sweet: 10/10 recommend! Indoor/Outdoor seating Amazing cocktails Friendly, knowledgeable staff Relaxed atmosphere Food menu & food truck Outdoor fire pit and lawn games Everything here is great and these were some of the tastiest, refreshing cocktails that still packed a punch: Tipsy Peach, Manhattan, Old Fashioned, and something special the bartender whipped up because they were out of the Earl Grey one I had been eyeing. Everything was delicious and it's no wonder they've won a bunch of awards - the quality is excellent.

Arooo! Arooo! Arooo! Three cheers for the two-legged hounds that run, make and distribute this fine liquor. It's reBARKable! ;D In my prior review, I said how this place will get your leg kicking with enjoyment. From the liquor offered to the down-to-earth atmosphere and service, you'll feel like a dog at a dog park." It's all still 100% true and... you should 100% try their Whiskey Sour!

    Fun-filled bar area.

Everything thing went well! Well, almost. They were out of the size of sweatshirt my wife wanted. LOL You simply must get a wisky flight to start. The current barrels were great as were the honey & Cafe (coffee) shots. The Margherita pizza is unique as the tomato & basil were chopped fine & spread evenly. Nice touch. The pretzel & dipping sauces were very good too. Bottle line - great place. Enjoy often!

What a fun group of folks, who also know how to make a mean cocktail or three. I've had Spirit Hound Distillers bookmarked for quite some time and finally discovered why they rate an almost perfect 5 stars. We laughed and laughed with Reese, one of their bartenders. He was awesome. He can make a mean, spicy Whiskey Sour while telling you about their barrel aged spirits and the subtle differences that emerge as you allow the whisky to remain in the barrels for longer periods of time. The space itself was really well done and a second bar had just opened, to expand their offerings and space. Parking was a breeze and had it not been so cold, we would've enjoyed their large outdoor seating area. A shout out to their fun menu, dog themed categories and cool touches around the bar. Clever, very clever. If you're a local, you are spoiled. You already know how good this place is. If you're like us, def make the drive. It was such a treat. We will be retuning!

Stopped here with a group of five after Rocky Mountain. My husband and I got married at Lyon's Farmette right across the highway so I had been meaning to check out this place and I'm glad we did! When we got there, there was only bar seating as they were under construction to expand (said in about two weeks additional space will be ready). The bartender was super accommodating and friendly, and good at recommending drinks. I got the 5 spice whisky sour which was super smooth and not overpoweringly whiskey for me; my husband got the aviation which was delicious with gin and cherry. Also his drink was $10 which is a steal?!? Excited to try out their Denver location too on Tejon. The interior where we sat was super cute - I liked the wood panel walls and fairy lights. Will definitely be back when we're passing through or in Lyons.

Cherry limeade cocktail! Perfect for a hot summer day.

Spirit Hound was a blast! I've driven by so many times going to Rocky NP and never tried it. Well, I drove to a lyons for a different sale last Saturday, and decided to swing by! They have a nice large building, with a sweet taproom and large outdoor area. I especially enjoyed the food truck next door, and thought the wings were great! I got a sweet Cherry Lemon type drink, with special cherry liquor. They actually have quite a few cherry drinks from the well. I thought mine was fantastic and definitely had a nice flavor. Not too alcoholic but still a good buzz! I enjoyed their back patio, and the servers were friendly! I'll be back soon after a national park day!

We were driving around Colorado just taking in the scenery. We decided to stop here because I fancied a tasting. The tasting room is nice. A big window into the distillery gives you a good look at the operations. Staff was friendly. Flight was nice. We had some nibbles. Really nice stuff, but price point + checking luggage didn't add up to buying anything.

Wonderful cheese and crackers. The crackers were some of the best Gluten Free crackers! They were loaded with seeds and dried fruit.

Incredible daiquiri and relaxing environment with great service. While the menu is small the Gluten Free cheese plate was an excellent choice. So nice to have a dog friendly pit stop.

    Bottle sales and amazing product

Great cocktails, food and service! You can buy bottles here of all their products! Highly recommend, don't miss it on your way to the mountains! The tasting room was beautiful but we chose to sit out in the patio with our dog. The heaters were lovely in the cooler weather and we had a great time.

One of the strangest experiences in a restaurant that I have had on any continent…read more My wife and kid had gone out for the evening, so I am on my own. Someone had mentioned that they liked 'that little place on Third', so I go and check it out. I am seated immediately right by the door, at the left end of the bar, and given a menu. After 17 minutes the waitress finally comes back for my order (it became oddly long enough that I started tracking all of this). I ordered steak frites and a glass of wine (it's kind of my default). About 15 minutes later it comes out and I am served. The frites and wine are just 'ok'. Not bad or anything... just not noteworthy. I finish my meal and wait. And, wait. And......wait..... After a while the waitress comes out and I order some cheesecake. She goes away with the order and I realize that there is this bartender, obviously drunk, trying to entertain an older couple (that was also kind of drunk), and he attempted to wax poetic about the value of different liqueurs and their social nobility. It went On. And. On. After a conspicuous while I interrupted and asked where the wait staff was. He just pointed at the kitchen entrance and then ignored me, and proceeded to stumble his speech some more. I look over and all the wait staff is just standing there ignoring all of the clientele. I catch the eye of my waitress and wave my hand for attention. She sees me, and then turns around and continues talking to the other staff. Thinking this is some sort of joke I decide to see what this takes to just get some dessert. After a while the older couple shuffle on, and the bartender finally does some actual bartending/cleaning. I ask again where the staff is and he literally *rolls his eyes* and walks away. A minute later the waitress comes out with the cheesecake. I check my watch. It's been **42** minutes. The cheese cake was 'ok' grade pre-made fare, but that's about it. It was a 42 minute wait for manufactured cheesecake while having to listen to some self-important drunk d-bag trying to educate other drunks. I mentioned all of this to the person that referred me there, and they just responded with "Oh yeah, that's the owner." Lackluster food, garbage service, all wrapped up in an uninteresting atmosphere. Edit: If you really want to see some real Klass, check the owners response.

Man what happened to this place…read more. Jasmine used to be my favorite bar in the area. They provided a varied menu with incredibly unique and delicious drinks with an upscale yet cozy vibe inside. However our last visit was anything but. Supposedly they've made the decision to drop the entire "old menu" as the bartender called it in favor for an uninspired and honestly boring Christmas menu with drinks that weren't even remotely on the level of their previous offerings. Yet the prices were actually higher than their standards. This current menu feels like something you'd pay $11 for at a dive or chain restaurant. After a relatively long wait for service, we ordered 3 drinks, having to repeat ourselves multiple times to the hostess that didn't seem to have any clue of what their drinks were called. Of the 3, none of them included the garnishes that were outlined in the menu, and one drink was completely wrong. We were allowed to keep it and had it replaced at no cost at least, but even the replacement did not have the correct garnish per the menu. I'm praying this place didn't sell out and it's just in some strange transition period between seasons but I won't be returning to check until some time after the new year and these awful drinks are gone. For now, go to Nora's.

It was less fancy/pretty than I thought it would be, but it's a good place to get a strong drink (based on the menu/ingredients - they all looked pretty strong!) and sit/relax. There was plenty of free parking on the main road, and some seating out front which was just outside. Would be a nice hang spot during the pleasant spring and fall months, or summer evenings!
