A small plaque honoring the best club to have ever existed.

I used to come here on Saturday nights when I was in high school. It was 16+ until 11:30, then 18+. $10 cover. No alcohol served, just juice, water, and Red Bull. Everyone just danced and had a great time. Best club to have ever existed.

I spent pretty much every Saturday night during high school at Rock Island and never had a bad time.

Milk Bar... it's a 3.5 star rating, I suppose. Ok, will round up…read more The best thing about it is they don't hassle you as bad at the door. They have multiple rooms to explore. The music is good, mostly. But you may need to hop around as it can change so much. So, wander around, you might get lost, but you'll find you way again! (or just ask! ha) Not as great, the drinks are SO weak. It's a little ridic. If I'm paying $15 or whatever for one shot and soda, please let me taste the alcohol? Like, come on! I can buy a bottle for that. Just let me taste it. Bartenders can be hit or miss. I've had some totally cool ones and some really strange ones that seem to have personality issues. Not as much lately, though, just overall in the times I've come here over a few years. Maybe the current bar manager (who introduces themselves as such when you walk in) has got it whipped more into shape. Can you just tell them to include booze in drinks?! Lol Entrance is in the back alley.

It was Thursday night and they we charging a $10 cover. When I got in there, there were only 10 people in there, and that included the employees. The staff there were friendly and the music they were playing was nice. This place gives off an old dungeon vibe. It could probably use some updating. There is metered street parking available in the front and a parking lot available in the back, where the entrance was when I visited. I do like the club's set up. It has a couple of rooms. There is like a lounge area, a video game room, and a couple of bar areas with dance floors. They have different music playing in the rooms. The video game room has a bar and classic coin operated video games, like Spy Hunter, Ms Pacman, and Off Road. They mostly take quarters and they have a change machine available. The drinks here are reasonably priced and were decent pours. I only stayed here about 30 minutes. I was really bored and decided to just call it a night and go to bed early. I would probably come back here, but It would not be on a Thursday night and I would do some homework on the place before I came here.

Great Rooftop Lounge for Date Night and Socializing…read more I visited 54thirty Rooftop Lounge for a date night and had a great experience. When we arrived, most of the covered seating and heater areas were already taken, so we ended up sitting in one of the uncovered sections. As it turned out, that was a blessing because the views were amazing. From where we were seated, we had beautiful views of downtown Denver and the surrounding cityscape. Between the skyline, lights, and rooftop atmosphere, it created a memorable evening. What impressed me most was the ambiance. The lounge had a lively but relaxed energy, and people were friendly and approachable. It felt like the kind of place where you could enjoy a date, meet new people, network, or simply unwind with friends over drinks and conversation. My date ordered food, but I honestly don't remember everything he had. I wasn't particularly impressed with the food, but since this is a rooftop lounge, the atmosphere was really the star of the show for me. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would return for the views, the social atmosphere, the drinks, and the opportunity to meet interesting people. Perfect for: Date nights, networking, socializing, drinks with friends, and enjoying Denver's skyline.

I've now been to all the Meow Wolfs in the nation except Las Vegas (Grape Vine, TX, Denver, Santa…read moreFe). If you've seen one, you understand the basic experience, though to really get what's going on, you have to see them all and do a lot of wandering and research. Denver's Convergence Station is the largest of the Meow Wolf complexes (I think) at over 90K square feet. For timed entry and a drink, it cost over 60 dollars (flexible entry is more expensive). I actually had to go twice because I was so overwhelmed and missed a large portion of the venue, even staying like three hours. The art is awesome. Lots of mysteries. Phone booths where you can call multiple numbers and get various weird clues. A neon castle. Tunnels to crawl through. Lots of climbing up stairs too (they have elevators if needed). You can stop by a bar in the Japanese-inspired "city" to grab a regular or boozy drink to take around with you. Lots of places to explore. You can touch everything (make sure to sanitize after you leave). Multi-media and diverse textures everywhere. Bright lights. Weeeeiiiiirrrrddd stuff. Aliens. Monsters. Sometimes if you time it right, their real life alien characters will make their way through the installation. I don't think there is any way to see or understand this installation in just one visit (they offer annual passes by the way). And honestly, you have to see all the other Meow Wolfs to really get the big picture (but it doesn't hamper your enjoyment or delight if you haven't). I will say that this version of Meow Wolf is a little more winding and convoluted than other smaller venues. Things don't connect quite as well. But still a good time. Employees are all helpful and cheerful. You can make this into as much or as little of a day as you like. And it's 100 percent worth it.

We got the pass to do the interactive story and it was alright, there was definitely some filler and the videos were a bit long but some satisfying puzzling. We had done the Vegas Omega Mart Meow Wolf prior and loved it after figuring out to not get bogged down in the HEAVY amount of detail. Towards the end we kept getting lost trying to find some previous rooms we'd been in and ran out of time to finish completely but did have fun with the quest overall. One of our favorite accomplishments was the pizza rat side quest. We ran into a couple other groups also clearly working to figure things out and helped each other out. Would recommend and would budget a solid 6 hours +.
