Stopped in here for a men's hair cut. I'm picky, have specific specifications for the style of cut, and would rather pay $25 at a salon than $12 for a barber on the main drag if it means avoiding a nightmare haircut. The gamble paid off. Ashley was awesome, very friendly, attentive to my needs, and gave me the best haircut I've had in many moon!. Just had my hair cut and colored by Tiwanda. She did a fantastic job my hair looks fabulous. Tiwanda is an amazing ,awesome Christian lady. Can't wait to see her again. Tiwanda works very quickly and had my color on in just a few minutes. Tiwanda asked how I would like my haircut and then did exactly what I wanted she is awesome. Tiwanda is a professional stylist who makes you feel comfortable and at ease. My hair was a disaster when I went in. I had a really wonderful appointment and left with my hair looking so pretty. She did such a great job with my color and cut. The owner of the salon did an excellent job decorating the salon it looks so cute and is very clean. You can see she takes great pride in her business. Going here is like going to your friend's dorm room to get your hair done after watching someone do it on Tik Tok. I should have just cancelled after the intense smell of cigarette smoke on my stylists hands as she put her fingers through my hair during the consultation. I asked the stylist to keep me natural (I am dirty blonde) and to give my hair dimension by adding partial highlights and a "bump" to my root to freshen it up. I even provided a photo of my hair previously highlighted for reference. The stylist did not talk much as I described what I typically get done, rather she nodded ...and eventually did what she wanted to do which was to bleach/strip the entire top of my head one color, not apply a toner, and in the process burned my scalp. She had me looking like a Fraggle Rock gone Oompa Loompa. She looked unsure of how to fix it so I politely asked her to ask the other stylists to suggest how to bring it back to a NATURAL look, none of the stylists looked interested in being a part of it--they looked at me but quickly turned away. There I was feeling absolutely defeated. I did not sense it had anything to do with them wanting her cleaning up her own mess, but that they just DID NOT CARE. To make matters worse, instead of trying to find a solution, she attempted to gaslight the hair Gods by picking through stripped pieces to prove there was "dimension". I left this salon trying not to show I was upset; I know everyone is trying hard to come back from a grueling year. So I graciously thanked the stylist for attempting to fix it and tipped well, granted my hair was still very much BOTCHED when I left. It was not until a week later after having to pay a professional to fix my hair that I decided I needed to come on here and warn others who may find themselves looking this salon up on yelp only to see the good reviews--most likely given by the stylists themselves or friends. In conclusion, if you are just needing someone to apply store bought hair-color, then why not. But, if you are looking for a professional hair stylist that takes pride in the work they do and how they make their clients feel, then I would recommend staying away from this salon. read more

I am SO lazy when it comes to getting my hair done. It just falls by the wayside when a ponytail is perfectly acceptable. Well, it was time. I called Alesia, and the rest as they say is history! This was my first time seeing Alesia. My hair was pretty damaged and it looked pretty bad. I had bleached it some time ago, and months later used a Walmart box dye to go back to my natural dark brown. I told Alesia about my hair history and how I wanted highlights. She was VERY careful about not damaging my hair and even tested a strand of my hair before she did anything. The highlights came out AMAZING!!! Then she gave me a haircut/style and she did a great job framing my face. When I saw what she had done, I couldn't even believe it was MY hair. I HIGHLY recommend her!! Thanks, Alesia! read more

Worst experience I ever had at a 'salon' in my life! I wouldn't even recommend taking your dog there! (I'll try to be brief) Alicia fried my hair! I was in the chair for literally 5 hours! THEN!... She cut my hair when I told her twice that I didn't even need a haircut because I was letting it grow. The next day I cried off & on for 8 hours! I had to beg to get into my old hair salon who took pictures of the back of my hair that looked like a 2yr old cut it with a pair of gardening shears. Please don't let this happen to you or someone you know. Take my advice and look into someone in the 'big city' where experience meets class! read more
