The atmosphere in this crab boil place was different than others I've been at. Giant crabs and lobster surrounded by Rock & Roll attitude. Guitars and oversized bottlecaps affixed to the walls. Came here for drinks at the bar while waiting for our table at the Mexican restaurant nexr door - along with several others doing the same. The bartender was totally frazzled and took a bit to get organized but the craft beers were ice cold and very cheap. The self automated Ai waiter was rolling around the restaurant and bar with ToGo orders. Love watching this thing and may return for a seafood boil and more cold beer. The gender assigned bathrooms were clean with large dark gray texture floor tiles and purple colored ceramic vessel-style sinks. read more

Walked inside and it smelled amazing like crab boils with old bay seasoning. The price for beers were under $5 every wall had something fun for pictures. The Ai waiter with cat eyes was moving around the restaurant and had the chance to meet it and is the modern approach for restaurants to take the place of a human waiter. read more

We'd tried to dine at another restaurant in the complex, but they were only doing takeout for their last hour open. So we walked over to this place as I'd had it bookmarked. We didn't have a very good meal here at all. They feature "Cajun" food per their signage, but what we ordered was quite under seasoned and blah. I didn't feel like getting messy, so ordered off their non-seafood boil portion of their menu. I started with a half dozen steamed oysters. I chose garlic butter as my topping. The oysters were okay, but were minuscule and topped with faience (fake melted "butter") and a ton of chopped garlic. In fact, there was more garlic than oyster in each shell! After the oysters, I had their seafood gumbo. It was supposed to have shrimp and calamari, chicken and sausage and okra, et al. Instead it was like a rice gruel in a brown colored base. The only seafood were 4 teeny tiny bits of shrimp. And none of the other things indicated on the menu were there either. The broth was totally tasteless. I tried unsuccessfully to "doctor" it with Tabasco and lemon and salt. When asked about it by the waitress, I told her it was awful. She didn't do anything about it. My husband got their fried oyster basket. His oysters were institutionalized premade little heavily breaded squares. Strange, since they have fresh oysters in house. And the fries that came along side were coated -- not his favorite. I'm of the opinion that if something is listed on a menu, it should be as good as all their other food. Or they shouldn't offer it. If this experience is any indication of their kitchen"s abilities, I'd skip the extremely expensive seafood boils here, as well. Looking for a place to enjoy dinner, we saw this place open in the Villages Plaza. My wife had book marked it so we were eager to try. This is a Modernized Cajun Seafood restaurant with an attractive interior and good lighting. They even have a "cajun" robot delivering food to tables. Our server took our drink orders and we looked over the menus and decided on what to have. I chose the fried Oyster Basket with cajun fries. My Oyster Basket was delivered in a reasonable amount of time. It consisted of ten oval brown balls, which I at first thought were hush puppies. They do serve fresh oysters baked, and in their Seafood boils, so I was hoping for some lightly breaded fried oysters as well! The cajun fries are coated fries with some cayenne dusting. Rock N' Crab was not my original plan, but boy was I happy it ended up being our choice! Definitely a must try if you're looking for Cajun, strong flavors, and why not a boil! We walked in without a reservation since our original restaurant in plan was closed. We found parking easily and were seated at our table immediately. We got very lucky that there were barely any customers at 3pm on a Friday! We ordered 12 steamed oysters with the house blend spices and they were delicious!! Mild spice from the Cajun, buttery, sadly just a touch over cooked, but the flavor more than made up for it. We also ordered buffalo wings with onion rings, a dirty martini and a down beat mule (Moscow mule). I wish I had space for a boil! Now I just have a reason to come back. Definitely a must try! A coworker and I ventured into Rock n' Crab for dinner one night. Service was pretty good from human and the little robot they gave sashaying around there. The human was friendly and patient and helpful in making the decision about what to eat. I settled on the blue rock special $37 and added 2 eggs for $3 upcharge. The blue rock comes with 1/2 lbs of snow crabs, shrimp and blue crabs. Plus a little corn and potatoes. I chose the rock blend sauce and the meal was pretty good. I left pretty satisfied with my dinner. The restaurant is fairly large for a strip mall. It wasn't that packed so it was real nice and spread out. I ordered 1/2 Lb Shrimp w/ 1/2 Lb mussels w/ the medium house sauce and it was Perfect! Both were fresh, flavor was on point, and very filling! I also got 6 lemon pepper wings which were cooked perfectly and not salty @ all. My friend got the seafood rice and said it was really good also as well as the Strawberry Marg. The service was friendly and attentive, menu was easy to browse- not complicated at all. We ordered the Tuesday special ($35) very fair pricing, not the best quality for crawfish but good for shrimp & crab. The combination sauce + mild was delicious (on the saltier side, a little room for improvement). The lemon pepper wings were tasty- well done. A really good find for just stumbling upon it when I was hungry on my birthday. They have a huge space with a great bar. We got table service though and was delighted by the serving robot! It even sang me happy birthday and delivered my dessert. It was so cute and I've only seen them in online videos up until now. The food was good too although I'd recommend to get the classic seasoning to the restaurant for the boils. Boils are always pricy and messy but they give you the gloves and bib. You can tell everything is carefully measured. Shrimp could've tasted fresher but the rest was fine. Maybe the shrimp were just overcooked. They also offer fried food baskets if you don't want to bother with the cost and mess of a boil. I'd like to try one of those sometime. read more

Rock N'Crab is an enormous joint in a nice WPB shopping center. We had a drop-off at the airport, so I looked at some of my bookmarked spots and decided on this place because we love Cajun food. We decided to sit by the bar during happy hour. My husband had a margarita that tasted pre-made. I had a beer. The bar is large, but it looks like they never finished stocking it. In fact, the whole restaurant felt as though they were in the middle of decorating it. Oddly enough, the pictures on their webpage give the complete opposite impression. It's hard to put my finger on it, but the atmosphere felt like the owners were in the process of giving up or being confused. It was too big and cavernous. It did not have a fun energy. Maybe it was a slow Friday evening, but it definitely was not Rockin' with people ready to rock out. Additionally, I get that they were going for a "Rockin'" musical theme, but the hair-band tunes being piped out the loudspeaker was not very conducive to eating a meal. But that's just my taste. Some "Cajuny" offerings are on the menu, but it's not chock-full of what I would call a typical Cajun menu, so we were somewhat disappointed. We started with fried calamari. I asked for tartar sauce. It came out in a to-go 1 oz. container. I did not like the flavor. The calamari itself was ok, but nothing to run out for. My husband had a shrimp po-boy, and while it was passable, it was fried shrimp on a roll, nothing too special or noteworthy. Do they buy frozen seafood here? It is a possibility. I opted for one of their seafood boils, including crab, shrimp, snow crab legs, two potatoes, and a piece of what was most definitely frozen corn in a spicy garlic broth ($35). There were somewhere around 12 shrimp and two each of the other stuff. This dish is definitely shareable. I liked the shrimp and the soft, seasoned potatoes best of all, probably because the crabs were almost impossible to eat, considering they don't have a tiny seafood fork to pry the meat out. After asking for one, we were told by the owner that they used to have them, but people stole them, so that was the end of that; they won't supply them any longer. I felt bad for their loss, but too bad for me because the crabs were nearly impossible to eat without the forks, and I felt like I wasted my money. This was one of the messiest meals I have ever eaten. No bib, no fork, and so much hot juice grappling and digging in for my seafood in a bag of broiling hot broth with my fingers. You get the picture. Then, after I was finished working on my meal, they offered me a few wet naps. I needed a shower, and I'm a good navigator of messy food, careful not to ruin my clothes. It was an uncomfortable meal to navigate. Why not go the extra step and offer a hot, wet towel to clean yourself up? They have a robot that brings take-out food to the door. It was cute, but I find this new restaurant accessory silly. What is the point? In fact, while the food was fine and cooked properly, I felt the whole experience was pointless and messy. read more

If you're a Seafood lover then this is a pretty good place to eat! I like the BYO "Build Your Own" i didn't know that boiled eggs taste so good with seafood. Never would've thought. The Rock Blend sauce it's my favorite. Pro tip: If you want a cold beer and like it with salt. Ask for a glass with Salt on the Rim that combination of a cold beer with Seafood it's - Recommended! Ok so this maybe a biased review as this place specializes in seafood and I got different chicken foods and appetizers. The chicken po boy I thought was just average and stuff with more veggies. The fried chicken they put in was just thin and not enough for the size of the sandwich, It wasn't enjoyable. The Cajun fries literally tasted like they dumped paprika and black pepper all over them, peevish reviews intrigued me to try them as they all seemed positive but my batch was not good. The chicken wings were good, got the Buffalo and sweet chili... I mean how could you mess that up? The mozzarella sticks were also just basic, the server told us they made them in-house from scratch but I don't think so. If you want expertly prepared fresh seafood, Rock 'N CRAB  is a must visits if you are in the West Palm Beach area of Florida.  The place is dimly lit in the evening.  It is huge with a full bar and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.  The decorations inside are a rock and seaside motif. I sat at the bar and Kyla the server and bartender was great.  She explained the menu, all the specials and even how they give a 10% discount for reviews or checking in on google.  They also deliver on Uber Eats and doordash. Started with a beer which was 2 for 1 and an order of onion rings.  The beer was a Jai Alai from Cigar City in Tampa.  The onion rings were great.  On this visit I also tried their garage rock margarita with passion fruit.  It was awesome. For the entree I did the Shinesun special.  It was a boil with a lobster tail, 1/2 lb. snow crab and 1/2 lb. shrimp.  Had it with the garlic butter sauce.  It was so delicious.  It also had potatoes and a half ear of corn.  You can get other sauces and they will spice it to your liking. I really wanted dessert, but I was honestly too full.  They had about four different desserts.  The one that stood out for me was croissant beignets.  They also had a NY cheese cake, brownie and ice cream as well as a chocolate lava cake.  Next time I am here I will try to save room for dessert. read more

A wonderful place for a seafood boil! This place was such a great find. They have a lot of both indoor and outdoor seating. Warning about outdoor seating: lots of flies which like swarmed us while eating :/ the hush puppies were pretty decent- but needed more corn inside (I don't usually order these and I prob wouldn't again). Now the boil- it was amazing. There was a special with lobster tail, snow crab and shrimp which we got. The spice we got was the rock one which is their signature spice and it was good. I got medium spice which was hot enough for me and I really like spice. Added sausage which was good but honestly they gave almost too much! It was 5 bucks and I would have preferred 2.50 for less sausage and more corn or potatoes in its place. Got 2 corns and 2 potatoes with order. We had to ask for the crab tool and most places I go have a little metal fork to help get the meat out but they didn't have these here which was a bummer because it does really help to get the meat out. Quite busy around 8pm last night V day 2023! Since we were #8 on the wait list, we decided to sit at the bar to order food. That's when we discovered they only had 1 bartender for the entire restaurant & he would be taking our drink order and food. After beginning to empathize with the bartender, watching him run around, bartending and solving other problems, we ordered beers when he finally arrived. Don't get me wrong, he "worked the bar and the restaurant@ until it slowed around 9:30-10pm. It took us an hour to get our food. We order the Rock Idol with 2 snow clusters, shrimp head off, clams along with potatoes, corn, and sausage. Sausage was extra. Sauce - garlic butter. Mild. It was very tasty. Lots of garlic. Good Flavor to the sauce. Seafood began to get cool very quickly. Clams were the smallest I've ever seen. Babies! Sausage was tasty with a little spice or kick. The shrimp were cooked to perfection! Crab clusters weren't salty which is a risk at these places. Tasted fresh with sizable legs Once the seafood got cool, I slowed to a halt. Take home. read more

Food was great. Server was a snappy at my request for a bib and gloves. She replied with an attitude of "it's right there". She did regular check ins with us. We were there close closing. What I didn't like or understand why was she cleaning with 409 cleaner right behind me. That was so very inconsiderate. I didnt want to be inhaling chemicals as I tried to enjoy my food.
