If you haven't tried them... try them . Today I went in for the summer special which was the Surf and Turf roll. Was very similar to the Tour Bus roll . Very good and prepared nicely. Service was great as well the ladies were very attentive &' all around great . As an appetizer me and my husband love to get either the edamame and/or the wontons . But, definitely have tried the headbanger shrimp and it's amazing as well! While they still aren't doing any BOGO deals as much anymore , if you get the app they do have rewards for certain things &' you earn more rewards for linking a card and earning points . Had some sushi on Friday Saturday night from Rock n Roll sushi. Gotta say it was pretty good. My only issue was the timing. It was a take out order and I was told it would take 30 minutes. I was there early and my food was already waiting and the cooked food had gotten cold. We warmed it up but still quite annoying knowing that the restaurant is not good on food timing. Can speak to the ambiance of the place...like I said it was take out. However the customers in the. Building seemed to be enjoying themselves. We will go back. I placed an order for a pick up and immediately received a call to make sure I placed the order for the correct location. The manager was extremely nice and let me know how long the wait would be once I verified it was the correct location that i believed it was. Order was prompt and when I picked it up she made sure I had all of the silverware and sides that I needed. This kind of service nowadays is truly above and beyond and so rare! I just left. I came in on my lunch break. NO ONE greeted me, but I noticed as others came in they were being met with a "Welcome in". I had to get up and ask for a menu. This was 7 minutes after I arrived and the girl working hadn't acknowledged me, looked at me, nothing. I asked for a ginger salad and pork ramen. I believe it took her ANOTHER 10 MINUTES to ring my order in....a bowl of ramen..... though she was talking and and answering the phone and just ignoring my presence. SHE NEVER CHECKED ON ME. My food TOOK FOREVER and I had to ask a cook for a box and my check. He brought me a box. I never got a spoon to eat my ramen(no silverware cam with my main entre), so I had to use the fork from my salad to help me get it in the bowl. He told the waitress I was in a hurry at this point, and she just blew it off, but did use a TINY bit more haste. Then I HAD TO ASK for silverware to go and she only brought me a FORK.....How do you eat a mostly SOUP dish with a fork? I was never given a bag or a lid for my FULL drink, so I walked out balancing a steaming hot bowl of HALF my ramen (because I didn't want to overfill my container and have it spill all over my car), a random fork and my open container of sweet tea. She was making everyone that was dining in WAIT. ALL OF THEM. She was consumed with TOGO orders that she could of easily multitasked into her dining-in tables, but she didn't care enough about the guests dining-in to even try. She put together and CHECKED THREE togo orders out before EVER approaching me or saying a word when I first came in. I love your food, but I will never use my lunch break to eat at your establishment again. RIDICULOUS. THAT WAS THE WORST SERVICE. She needs better training or a second floor server should be scheduled. I worked in the food industry for 21 years, I have the experience, I know what can be multitasked and can't, and she NEEDS A REALITY CHECK. Hmm...not sure about this place. Seemed like most of the effort was put into the decor, theme, and vibe of the restaurant rather than the food quality. The restaurant is cool; we liked the whole rock N roll theme with the unique record cover menus. We just didn't enjoy the food. We have come to Rock n Roll sushi before and had a good experience last time, but this time we were very disappointed we had ordered 4 rolls and the duet hibachi of the steak and shrimp while the flavors of the rolls were okay the hibachi was over cooked and we ended up sending it back bc we did not like it. The waitress claimed she "discounted" it due to us sending it back but gave us just the military discount which is only 5% and we didn't even eat half of the dish, they claim is all they had to offer which is INSANE! We did have my grandfather with us who was military but that should've been a separate discount. Spoke to the manager and he was very rude. We left very unhappy. I went to Rock and Roll Sushi yesterday and placed a pretty good sized take out order for my roommate and I. He wasn't feeling well and I knew Sushi would brighten his day. The Sushi was good no complaints on that,but I also ordered 2 egg rolls with our order. They cut an egg roll in half and called it two.For real.The girl even asked me if I wanted any more egg rolls when she rang me up. I'm pretty sure they were $4 a pop. Place is clean and the service was really great (had Alexis). The crispy wontons were amazing and the highlights. All the their rolls minus the classics seemed to be tempura or with krab which I'm not a huge fan of. The individuals I was with did enjoy their meals. I'm not quite sure where to put this in terms of rating if I'm going to be completely honest. The appetizers were really good, flavorful, & fresh. The service was good, and the wait times weren't too long. The interior of the restaurant was really nice and clean, but really cold. It really just came down to the fact that our sushi tasted like stale garbage. The "sushi rice" was hard, the fillings flavorless, & honestly I'm at a loss for words past that. You're better off getting sushi from Publix or the commissary versus this place. read more

Very disappointing! Ordered a little of everything but the basic California roll had zero flavor, the soy sauce was watered down, like very obvious. It was not kikkoman!!! I liked the fried rice but added chicken for another $2.95 for 4 little bites, also disappointing. TNT shrimp were good, salad fresh, edamame took forever and was over cooked and lacked seasoning. Sake shots $2, good value but please invest in a machine that dispenses hot sake. Ridiculous that it's microwaved and takes 10 minutes to get a shot and by then it's a 1/2 shot cause it's been spilled. When I called, the bartender blamed it on the delivery driver; however, it looked like it was just thrown into the container. And, in case you weren't aware, apparently adding avocado for an extra $1 only gets you 3 tiny slivers. Don't waste your time or money on this location. Friday night. Not really all that crowded but the service was SLLLOOOOWWWW. But curiously, only at my table. In fact my 10 yr old daughter asked me if we were "invisible." Waited 30 minutes for edamame. And over an hour for 3 rolls. The table next to me ate a starter and their main course, paid, and left 15 minutes before I said anything. Maybe I gave them too much benefit of doubt and should've left. Reading through the reviews, I see that long waits are a prevalent theme. So beware. To their credit, the manager came out when I challenged the 1 hr wait for sushi and heavily discounted my bill. She said that they had moved my ticket to the front of the wait and all I could do is look around the restaurant and see that we had been there longer than anyone. So not sure why we weren't already in front. Also, long periods of time before adjacent tables were bussed clear meaning dirty dishes were just left sitting. Not good for the aesthetic and ambiance. On the food: slight turn-off that 75% of the specialty rolls were cooked/fried/baked. Not a lot of imagination there. Lots of tempura, etc. gives me pause about the freshness of the seafood. 2 stars bc the food was honestly decent, and I appreciate the rebate for the delay but I am not sure I can take a chance here again. Too much competition out there for service and aesthetic to be this erratic... and frankly, poor. I go out for sushi only a few times per year so it needs to be much better than this which was average food combined with poor service. read more

Ordered Via: Uber Eats "Heart Roll" (Specific rolls are based upon location) Now I normally get the "Volcano Roll" (that's my fav) but this time I decided to try something different. This here truly had my heart in every bite it was that good. Smallest portions I have ever experienced with sushi and hibachi. For $20 you get what is pictured, plus rice. No soup, or salad as listed on the menu. The sushi rolls, albeit good, not worth the $$. The service when I went to pick up my replacement food that was sent out with delivery wrong was horrible. I understand mistakes are made but you can at least maybe give a damn that someone just spent 45 minutes driving to and from to pick it up after paying 15 bucks in delivery fees and tips. read more

First off, the theme...perfect for me cause that's what I've always listened to, loved their menu covers..totally cool. The restaurant inside was/is awesome, Buddha out front was way cool, my son loved his Mohawk! Your selection of sushi was something new for me(surprised me on that one) being from Cali most sushi joints have a lot of the same sushi with different names so this was refreshing. I even snapped some shots of the ingredients on a couple that I really enjoyed so I can take them back home and give 'em to couple sushi joints I frequent! I'll definitely be back before I head home! Last week my husband and I visited what once was our favorite sushi place. They have hibachi and I ordered that. I asked for white rice and got fried rice. I was hungry and ate it anyway. Went back tonight and had the absolute worst experience. This in no way is a reflection of our server. She did the best she could. The manager was there cooking. It took almost an hour to get our food. Husband and I both ordered hibachi. My rice was fried, again. Everything was cold. My husband's steak was supposed to be medium rare. It was very overcooked and dry. His food was cold as well. I told our server that we were leaving. She apologized but I told her that this was not her fault. The manager never came out to talk to us, apologize or offer any help. They need to get Amy from the 4 other restaurants to run the Pensacola one. Won't be back here ever again. read more

A rip off!! Two Volcano Rolls, two drinks and Wantons. The Wantons were fair at best, the rolls tasted like grass. It was terrible, I took two bites and had to force them down. This place is good if you are willing to wait for the food. We have ordered takeout 4 times now, each time we order 2 sushi rolls and hibachi and each time we are told to wait an hour to pick up. Every time we have gone to pick up the food the hibachi will be ready but are told to wait 30 minutes or more for the sushi. They have 3 people working sushi and it's crazy I have to wait an hour and a half (maybe more) for 2 rolls. Like I said the times we have waited the food was good but it's not worth the almost 2 hour wait. read more

We ordered Togo at 9:15 and the lady told us 20 min. We show up 20 min later and the foods not ready and that's not a big deal except for the fact we had to wait an extra 35 min for our food to be done equaling over 50 mins. The prices online don't represent the prices we paid for and they ask if u want cream cheese or tempura in your sushi with out telling you that you have to pay extra for it. So I got charged with out knowing. The blonde lady running togos was very rude and you could tell she did not want to be there. To top it all off the sushi was made horribly and 2 of my rolls didn't have cream cheese that they charged me for!! Definitely need better service read more

This place really rocks!!! The food is a bit expensive compare to a general pricing range of sushi joint thats for sure however the food taste amazing. Down to my favorite one, we always start with their headbanger shrimp and their own version of crab rangoon. Both taste delicious. The filling inside the rangoon is all balance. The cream cheese, crabs and other ingredients doesn't over power one another that matches with their spicy mayo. That right there is a perfect rockstar combination you want to taste while waiting for your sushi order! I ordered the lobster sushi( I forgot their rockstar name) worth $18 is pricey but yet again very satisfying! The roll itself is not too big or small just the right size, the rice was thinly wrap around the lobster, creamcheese and I forget the other thing they put in ( was busy finishing the entire thing) and you dip it in the spicy mayo. I normally love getting takeout from this location weekly but sadly not last night. We ordered 4 tuna & avacado rolls, 2 plain & 2 with cream cheese & spicy mayo. There was so little cream cheese in the rolls you couldn't even see it & the sliver of avacado in each was hard & unripe.
