I call to speak to a manager and they gave me 25% off of the price I paid. I guess they expected me to remove the hair and eat the sushI. Not one of my favorite sushi place. Here a short run down of what we ordered: Appetizer sampler is a must try. Everything is Depp fried' cruncher outside and well seasoned and fresh inside. Cucumber salad - love the dressing. Instead of using imitation crab meat, I would hv substitute with shrimp. It will make the dish more presentable and less "cheap." Yellow tail sashimi - very nice presentation. That's all I can say about this dish. Cant serve sashimi if not fresh at all. Thriller and Crue rolls were both a disappointment. We decided to check this place out for lunch. I went in without much expectations and I was impressed with the food and service. The service was amazing. We sat at the bar and the bartender explained to us whatever was on the menu and entertained any questions we had. We ordered all their popular dishes since it's our first time: crispy wonton for appetizer, michael jackson roll, red hot chili pepper roll, and smoked salmon shashimi. All of the dishes were delivered but we were not impressed with the sashimi. The sashimi was cleaned well but it just did not taste as fresh. The prize is okay and a bit pricey for me but most sushi places around this area are a bit pricey anyway. However, they have lunch specials everyday from 11am-3pm so it took off at least $2 per roll. They also have happy hour specials everyday including weekends. It is easy to spot this place by the feeder road and it is in the place where LA fitness is. Parking is not an issue because there is a big parking lot in the plaza. Overall, I recommend this place to everybody. read more

If I could give this zero stars I would. Me and my friend, with our children came in for lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant was empty and the waitress LESLIE automatically had an attitude. She was very unhappy to be doing her job, but with how rude/entitled she was you would think she owns the place. The waitress was too busy in her own head and thoughts to get food for us or a highchair, she handed my seven year-old niece, a jar of lemons to take to the table. I did not know my niece was a server. The food comes out before the appetizer. The food, which is normally pretty good is flavorless and basically just thrown onto a plate. The appetizer comes out when we get the bill. We tried to explain to her that we were dissatisfied with the food and she told us basically it was our problem, not hers. We proceeded to ask her name so that I could be petty for this yelp review, and she called the manager. The only reason this review is getting one star is because the manager Jason was kind and helpful. I'm not sure who owns this place, but y'all really need to look into who you decide to hire. That Girl has no customer service skills and clearly is unsatisfied with her job and or life. We are still so confused as to why she was abruptly rude when we walked in. I always see advertisements for this joint and it's close to my work, finally got to try this place for dinner! They are seating inside now and are limiting capacity as well as spacing out tables. It's a pretty neat little joint with cool wall murials, very laid back. Their menu is pretty big, they have a variety of rolls, their "Headliners" and their "Classics." As well as a good selection of appetizers. For an appetizer I got their crispy wontons, which I didn't think were that great even though it is one of their "Greatest Hits." It's a fried wonton that's stuffed with crab meat, cream cheese, green onion, and jalepeno. You can't taste the crab meat at all, if there even is any, nor the jalepenos, just the cream cheese. It also comes with a sauce, their "headbanger" dip, which also isn't amazing. I also got their miso soup, which was average, it didn't look like typical miso soup but also nothing extravagant about it, no specific flavoring stood out. For a roll I ordered the Scorpions Roll, which has red tuna, albacore, yellow tail, and salmon. It does not come with rice but is wrapped with cucumber and topped with sweet chilli, ponzu, and eel sauce. I was actually very impressed with how great this roll was, I definitely was skeptical but of course was willing to try it, I'm very glad I did! Highly recommended, especially if you're on a "low carb diet" Also for the non sushi eaters, they do offer hibachi which I think is great. Oh! For dessert I ordered the Hall of Fame Brownies, SO GOOD! They fry the brownies in tempura batter! It's served with vanilla ice cream, whip cream, topped with chocolate and caramel drizzle. The Michael Jackson roll sounded interesting...BUT...THEY USE IMITATION CRAB MEAT the roll was super tiny with what looked like salad shrimp (the tiny ones) not worth $13. The miso soup was really good. Super small for $3. Maybe it would've been a better experience if I had gone in to dine. I used GrubHub and ordered online so I can't comment on the customer service of the cleanliness of the place‍‍‍ Overall the soup was great, the roll was "alright" could've been perfect if they used regular size shrimp and real crab meat. Accessible sushi in the neighborhood. I've driven by many times but the shop is nestled along the feeder road beside an Office Depot so my expectations were low. I was pleasantly surprised when we entered and found a busy restaurant. The menus are cleverly housed inside 70s album covers and contain standard sushi fare along with house specialties. They are quick to accommodate your quirks and customize your rolls. We don't have 5 stars because this is not fancy A grade sushi, but what it is is accessible, decent sushi cleverly designed around the rock and roll theme. We opened with the TNT shrimp appetizer and it's something I would definitely order again. Crunchy shrimp, sweet chili sauce. We ordered two rolls the VIP which featured shrimp tempura, krab meat and cajun spiced crawfish. I found the crawfish to be a little overbearing but that just me. We also tried a Sweet Home Alabama roll with salmon and others and it disappeared quickly. We finished with the brownie ice cream tower which isn't a tower but is delicious. To be honest the presentation of the food was on point. However the flavor was way off. Chicken was extremely dry and rice was very mushy. Today was my second time dining there I got my food to go and came back to my office. I ordered a cucumber salad four of their specialty rolls and a miso soup. The only thing I wish I would've had more of what is the miso soup. The tuna look like it came out of a can and a presentation was awful this time the flavor was even worse. My salad tasted like they just rinse it off and dishwater and threw it together and the crab on top was brown not even fresh white crab. This little gem is located right next LA Fitness and right off I-45. Great location for anyone living in the Spring/Woodlands area. We started off with an Asahi beer and edamame. Great flavor. We ordered the spicy but got the regular one instead. That's okay it was still delicious. We came on a Tuesday night so they had a special buy one get one free. I ordered the thriller. It had a nice fried flavor with tuna and crab. Very delicious and very fresh. We also ordered the Rainbow. It had a beautiful presentation. This was a raw roll with yellow tail. tuna, and salmon with avocado. It also came with a little cucumber inside. It was so fresh and filling. We sat at the bar which is a fully stocked bar.
