What a diamond in the rough! The food was absolutely amazing! Fantastic presentation and taste was even better! We started with the mini-egg rolls which were hot and good. I had Chx Pad Pak which had a fabulous presentation with fresh vegetables, chicken and a very nice, yet complex sauce! My wife had the Pad Thai with likewise had a great presentation and even better taste! This is a must return restaurant!

To start out, it wasnt the easiest to find because they have NO signs outside! It still has all the old Egg Roll House signs. The workers were very nice. The place was clean. The food came out rather fast. The crying tiger was the a disappointment. The flank steak had okay flavor but it did not come with the zesty lime Thai chili sauce and we had a few a couple dishes that were to be served with white rice and only was served one container. The eight of us did not finish this dish, which was most expensive. The pho, which I seemed to misplace the picture, was good but did not taste like pho broth. It was sweeter and lacked many of the typical herbs. It was a good soup with great ingredients nonetheless. The pad Thai was okay. It was very one dementional but was still very edible. The green curry had good flavor but I wish the curry itself had more body. The fried rice was okay. The Pad See Ew w/Beef was good. The cut of beef was rather tough for how thin it was... probably round steak. The noodles and sauce were great though. I wish there would have been four times the noodles because those stole the show and there wasn't much of them. I would say for muskegon this is a 2.5 out of 5 but in a big city it wouldn't be able to stay in business and would score under a 2.

Nice to finally have a Thai food place in the area! Glad we maintained an Asian food restaurant in place of the earlier one

It was Mother's Day for our visit. Reservations were made well in advance. We were promptly seated when we arrived and request for drinks and appetizers was made quickly. We were given enough time to enjoy our appetizers and first course before the hibachi chef arrived and went over all of our orders. From there it is hard to describe. The chef was knowledgeable and engaging, but he was in a hurry. We are long term patrons of Kazumi and we were disappointed a bit. The food was good, but the experience we anticipated was lacking. There was little of the usual enthusiasm we were used to, very little interaction with the guests and the chef appeared to be in a big rush to be done; so much so that the chicken I had ordered as part of my meal was missed. The chef got a little panicked, ran to the kitchen for an order of raw chicken and threw it on the grill, chopped the already coned click into tiny piecesput a bowl over it to speed the process.

We came to the area our own this time so thought we'd finally give it a try. I was undecided between the Pad Thai which I almost always get the first visit somewhere and the drunken noodles. It's kind of my gauge to how good the place is because I figure if the can't get this dish right I can't expect the more complex ones to be. We ordered the Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles and the summer rolls. I'll start with the summer rolls. We typically see them with shrimp and the menu didn't say anything otherwise. There was both shrimp and chicken in them, and they were quite large and loosely wrapped. 2 for $8 was steep though considering the chicken was tough and the shrimp was strong tasting. I couldn't make myself eat them. My husband managed to eat most of one. They came with what was obviously a jarred sweet and sour sauce -another disappointment as peanut sauce is so much better and what I was kind of expecting as that is usually the norm. The drunken noodles had a nice initial flavor but the heat was more than expected for medium. My husband and I always get medium for Thai dishes and typically they are just right or a little light in heat for us. This one they had been a bit generous with the heat so much so that it was almost hard to eat. It said there were a variety of veggies but it really only had green and red peppers. There was a decent amount of chicken in the dish. There may have been some green onion but only a couple of pieces, it felt like it was enough so they could say it was included even though you had to hunt to find them. Last to the Pad Thai, my typical initial gauge for a new to us Thai place. There was a generous amount of noodles, but were on the verge of undercooked. It couldn't figure out the flavor, but they were quite sour compared to any I've had before and I'll have to say it didn't do it for me. I would say they were almost eating wha I would call sweet and sour noodles if I was to give them a name. There was no richness or depth to the flavor at all. Again the items in the noodles were sparse at best. Very little chicken in this one, a crumble of egg, and I think I saw like 4 bean sprouts.. not acceptable for $15. They did have the required peanuts on the top though. Oh, and a slice of lemon, something else I'd not seen served before with Thai food. I had high hopes at this being a great place to visit when we are in the area since we love Grand Haven and I love Thai food but this ain't it. Bummer. So sad.

We came in around 8:00 on Sunday, 2/1/26 and sat at the bar. The bartender Jackie was busy and didn't see us for a couple minutes - once she did she apologized and took great care of us! We started with boneless wings, 1/2 buffalo, 1/2 garlic parm, they were really good! For our entrees I had the prime rib quesadilla and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite! It was served SO hot I thought I would burn my mouth! But it would be worth it! He had the perch dinner and wasn't as thrilled with it as I was with mine. He said the perch is better at Whitlow's. There were lots of games on, hockey, basketball and a sports documentary. It wasn't too loud, but it is a lively atmosphere. I'm happy with our experience and hope we come back again soon.

Located in a strip mallI, walked into the establishment and at a small table two patrons sit eating. The ambiance was similar to most small Asian restaurants we've purchased food from. Male standing at sushi bar told him I was there to pick up my order. He stated the hostess would be with me in a minute. Hostess arrived took payment for order and a few minutes later our food came out. The food is pricey and portions are on the small side compared to other Asian cuisine in the area. We paid 60+ dollars for 3 wok dinners and a salad. Yellow Curry Wok Tossed $15.00 Potatoes, onions, carrots and peas wok fried in a sweet yellow Thai curry sauce with your choice of protein (Didn't like that the potatoes in the dish were potato logs like the ones you get from the deli.) 2 Dinner Broccoli Wok Tossed $1 Sauteed broccoli in a flavorful brown sauce with your choice of protein Thai Salad Lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, cilantro, pineapple, chicken satay with peanut vinaigrette dressing (My salad did not have pineapple!!) and we didn't care for the peanut vinaigrette dressing that comes with the salad. A Plus: The 2 Dinner Broccoli Wok Tossed were not greasy and the beef was a better quality and cut a bit thicker. We can check off this local Asian Cuisine establishment and continue our tasting journey. I hope they maybe a diamond in the rough.
