Bangkok taste is a staple in Jenison. We love it for their curries. Usually my husband and I will split their curry pad Thai. We usually opt for the vegetarian option here as I do not like the taste of their meat (chicken or beef). I do not mind their tofu (fried) and we like their veggies. They have different levels of spice and we usually opt for mild because my hubby has a sensitivity to heat. However, if it's just me, I might level up to medium. That (to me) is fire. I will be sweating, emptying the water carafe and blowing my nose about half way through. lol. As long as we stick to what we know, we are never disappointed. Happy to have some Thai in Jenison and it appears to be well supported... mainly through takeout. Although, there is a small dining room inside if you want to be waited on. read more

Came here for lunch and got the string bean red curry. It was really good! I got it with veggies and medium spice. It had a good kick to it and the lunch prices are really reasonable. I plan to come back and try a variety of dishes. read more

Takeout Perfection! I can't say enough good things about Bangkok Taste! I ordered takeout, my top 3 favorites, and every single bite was to die for. Even picking up the order felt special. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, it felt like I was being greeted by old friends. Chicken Pad Thai (No Heat): This dish is a comfort food dream. We ordered to go. This place is always quick to answer and prepare orders. We really enjoyed the fried rice and the gang gai as well as the crab Rangoons. The fried rice does have a smokey flavor and this time we ordered it with chicken. You can see they have huge pieces of chicken. For the gang gai I ordered extra veggies no protein and it's in a smooth spicy curry (you can chose spice levels). I do wish this came in a different container because it spills everywhere but they do their best to pack it for easy transport. The Gang gai comes with a side of white rice. The crab ragoons looked crispy but were a little soggy and we wish we had more sauce! It's so delicious and breaks up the spice from the other dishes! read more

Bangkok Taste is good stuff. Definitely a regular in our house. The portions are the perfect size to have leftovers for lunch the next day.

We might be coming here again, but again, way too spicy even though I said don't add spice. Again, ordered the curry pad thai. They added no egg, no green onion, just essentially noodles. Hardly any chicken. The tom kha ghai soup was also too spicy; it burned my exit hole out, if you know what I mean (again, "no spice added"). It's so disappointing to see a good restaurant go down the tubes. Service was great. The woman asked about my mom, who is doing physical therapy in a nursing home now. The ambiance was great, too, except for this guy who was obviously on a first date and trying to impress the girl with information about his job and how much concrete, etc. they laid every day. Like she cared. It's not like either of them were attractive, so they were made for each other. They were beyond childbearing years, so I'm sure they'll have a second date. Like Renata A., I felt so special picking up my order. I sat in my car with my dog. The radio played the Bee Gees (always a plus). I love them so much, especially the clothes they wore. This has become my go-to Thai takeout. Level Medium spice for Pad See Ew is my favorite dish, but I'm just as pleased with Pad Thai or Drunken Noodles. One of these days I will order even spicier. Came here for lunch on a Friday. Food service was quick and tasted great. I don't recommend ordering medium+ for spice level though. I love spicy food, but this was a little unbearable for me. Peanut curry noodle had a great peanut flavor, sweet and savory. It was fantastic. I ordered rice on the side which I preferred over the noodles. The noodle soup in tom yum broth was super sour and the spice level I chose did not help it go down any easier. But if you like tart soups, this is for you. read more

As we are all just doing are best these days I want to premise this review with a salute to the employees here doing what's necessary to keep the lights on and rent paid. That being said, for all potential/future customers, I'd recommend thinking twice, thrice and quadruple on spending your well earned money eating here. Mostly just very disappointed on the ole' bait n' switch from the website imagery to actual delivery. Also, the pad Thai was just rice noodles with no sauce, no spice (ordered medium) and tasted like it was rinsed out in an old tub prior to serving. Probably the worst spring rolls ever eaten. They were greasy, undercooked & tasteless. The entrees were better. My friend enjoyed her duck especially. Portions were beyond generous. But for mediocre food that's not good. Less is more. read more
