Bambino DaMeathead pizza

HOORAY! After several years Teddy Spaghettis is back! This location is much better than the previous spot, definite upgrade! We came around 7pm on Saturday, 4/19/25, the were on a 30ish minute wait so we put our names in and got a drink at the bar. The feel of the space is warm and inviting. There are pictures of the Cerniglia family all over, it's tastefully done and adds to the cozy feel. For our pre dinner cocktails I had a pomegranate martini and he had the Godfather. Both were fantastic! We sat in these lovely and comfy chairs in the bar area while we waited for our table. We were sat on the enclosed patio that had greenery hanging from the ceiling with string lights that made it that much better. Huge windows looking onto the golf course added to the atmosphere. Our server was Liz and she was incredible. Top tier service. We started with the Combo Toasted Ravioli - which was as good as we remembered from years ago. Other combo was a mix of meat stuffed ravioli and cheese stuffed ravioli, he liked both - I preferred the cheese, but to be clear - I ate both. We shared a grande Sunny Sicilian pasta and bambino DaMeathead pizza. Both were so good, I couldn't pick a favorite of the two if I had to! The pasta serving was massive! We could have easily split a regular size, but for $4 more we both have a lunch for this week! It was rich and creamy. The chicken was tender and the pasta was cooked to perfection. Lots of shaved parm. The pizza is cooked on a stone and had a smokey undertone. It was a little crisp on the edges, but the middle was still chewy. The toppings and sauce made it even better. We ordered the Limoncello Tiramisu and Italian cheesecake with strawberries to go and haven't had a chance to try them yet, and it might have to wait until tomorrow. Carb coma is about to kick in. We had a lovely time and are already talking about what we are going to order next time. HIGHLY recommend!

We had a great experience dining at Teddy Spaghettis. We were seated in the sunroom area and it was decorated beautifully. Lots of greens and lemons and it was just so cute. Our server grabbed our drink order shortly after being seated. We shared a Caesar salad to start. There was freshly shaved Parmesan and homemade croutons. It was so good! Also, the perfect amount of dressing. I had an Italian margarita and it was delicious! My husband had a calzone and I went with the Italian macaroni and cheese. My mac and cheese was phenomenal. It came out bubbling hot, had a nice layer of freshly melted cheese on top, and it was so creamy and flavorful! The cheese sauce was so good and smooth! The noodles were also cooked perfectly. My husband was super impressed with his calzone. It was brushed with garlic butter and he said it tasted so good! The bottom of his calzone had a nice crunch, no soggy bottom! They stuffed the calzone with toppings and cheese. He said he has t had that good of a calzone in a long time. We were very impressed and will need to come back more often. Thanks Ted and staff!

The food is very authentic, very homemade and very delicious. Friendly staff, usually family is working. Several rooms that are all welcoming and comfortable.

I wanted to like Teddy Spaghettis. I'm desperate to find good Italian food in SW Michigan. Sadly, my bruschetta was pretty nasty. The tomatoes were soggy and had lost all their color. And there was so much vinegar. Yuk. And please learn how to pronounce bruschetta! The lasagna portion was enormous. Enough for 2 or 3 meals, and I can eat a lot lol. Unfortunately it tasted like it had just come out of the microwave. Unevenly heated, some parts hot, some lukewarm, some cool. And no gooey melted cheese. Service was good, but was overshadowed by the food issues.

Tuscan chicken

We got seated promptly and waters brought to our table within a couple of minutes. I got the Tuscan chicken and it was wonderful. The sauce was just right and the bread is fresh and delicious. Would return if back in the area.

No garlic bread! C'mon. An Italian restaurant with no garlic bread? What's up with that? They serve a dumb lump of Bisquick!

It is an adorable restaurant, very comfortable, and smells like grandma has been cooking all day on a Sunday. Our server was INCREDIBLE, brutally honest when we asked questions or for her opinion. My husband ordered the chicken Alfredo and noted that it was very bland with "crunchy" pieces throughout. I ordered the shrimp scampi, on recommendation of our server, and the dish itself was incredible, but the shrimp were very small and so rubbery and overcooked that they were nearly hard to chew. I told my husband that I would love that dish without the shrimp, as the shrimp detracted from the dish overall. We were a little disappointed they didn't offer any sort of salad or bread service. My house Pinot Grigio was tasty and paired great with our meal. It's literally within walking distance of our home, so we may try it again down the road, but it just wasn't the local home run I was hoping for.

Shrimp scampi might as well have been a stick of butter and noodles with way overcooked shrimp. A…read moretip to know when shrimp is cooked enough is if it's shaped like a 'c' it's cooked. If it's a 'o' then it's overcooked ...well these were chewy if that helps confirming it was overcooked. The lasagna was more cheesy and noodles. Not much meat at all. It came with 2 pieces of bread and they tasted awful. FYI-They charge for bread FYI-they add 3% for credit card For as busy as they were I'm not understanding how people haven't questioned the food. Our server didn't even question that we left 3/4 plate and didn't want to take any home.

The indoor/ outdoor space blends together in the warmer months with cool hangout spaces and game areas. This place is truly a work of art. Drink lists abound, but because it was lunchtime we stuck to food. We were not disappointed. Everything was well conceived and delicious. I can't wait to come back and try the bone bread next time, stew and scrumptious sounding salads. Today we had the kids smash burger, Brussels burger with frites and fried haddock and frites with a delicious coleslaw. The best part? Different sauces to choose to dip the fries in. The curry ketchup was the best (special shout out for *actually* cooking the curry into the ketchup) as it did not taste of raw curry. They definitely don't cut corners here. We noticed, and we appreciated it. We will be back.

Yes, they have a small parking lot, and don't fret if you have the park on the street like we did, as we were seating promptly and it didn't feel too crowded. Since we were seated at high tops near the bar, the bar tender was our waitress, and she is literally the nicest, good energy, engaging human ever! She also whips up the custom, creative mimosa recipes, kudos to her for her awesomeness! I ordered the Shakshuka, flavorful, delicious, would order again. Even as a non-vegan, it was satisfying and would recommend to everyone. Husband had the 1964 Worlds Fair Waffle, and it was tiny. Not what you envision when you think of Belgian waffles. He also ordered the Belgian Forest Bacon, again VERY small portion, so much so that at the end of the meal, he had to order a side of the Smashed Maple Sausage. Both our drinks (I had the mimosa) were fantastic and worth ordering, loved the glassware! Aside from the small portions of waffle, bacon, and sausage, the cheerful vibes here are contagious, and I'd dine here again in a heartbeat!

It was super bland. It was clearly not slow roasted with any herbs or in any meat/vegetable broth. The sauce was bland. I've enjoyed this classic Italian dish at many other Italian restaurants, so this was particularly disappointing. My friend got the mussel and frites. Multiple mussels were still closed shut when served. For such a small number of mussels, I would have hoped they would have replaced the closed mussels rather than expect the customer to pry them. The only dish I enjoyed was the mozzarella sticks appetizer. I came in with a very large party, and the service was solid. Do not recommend.
