The store was empty when I came in on a Tuesday evening about 5 PM. I was able to walk right in and grab the sample that I needed. When I initially walked in there was an email at the desk and I was not greeted or asked if I needed any assistance. When I went to check out to purchase my sample I had to be very loud and say hello throughout the store over five different times before a gentleman named Lance came to the cash register to allow me to purchase my sample. I do like this location because you can buy samples unlike other stores and you have 60 days to return it which I think is really great. They also have a system in place where you don't need your receipt they can look up your receipt with your phone number in case you lose it as it is a large receipt which can be easily lost. read more

Awesome place for any tile project. The Store manager Jason is a national treasure. He answered all of my phone calls with questions on how to install my shower and helped When they loaded my tile they found a few broken pieces and got them replaced before I even left. They asked me to show them pictures when I was done which was nice. read more

Unhelpful and Disappointed From the start the whole experience was sad. From walking in the door and not being greeted to walking around for over 30 minutes while only one other customer was being helped this stored screamed "WE AREN'T TRYING TO SELL ANYTHING". While the rest of the staff stood idly by behind the counters we tried to get help from one of the workers, and were quickly told that "whatever styles they had in that size there at the end of the the isles". Go to a different The Tile Shop, they will actually try to sell you tile (apparently this one isn't concerned about selling their products). read more

I just recently installed a kitchen back splash in my house and this is the 2nd time I have purchased my tile and material from this store. This place is huge and has a large selection of all types of natural stones and ceramic tiles. They have quite a few displays that offer great ideas for doing kitchen and bathroom projects. Price is not bad either. Both times I've gone there, they've given me a 10% discount on all my materials. I assume they do that for everyone when a large purchase is made. I would have to say they are in line with Home Depot and Lowes with a much better selection. The not so good part of this store is the commissioned sales people. I feel the customer service would be so much better if they weren't commissioned. Dealing with my sales guy the first time, I spent about an hour and a half with him and things went well. Every time I visited after that the service was horrible. Most of the time when I went there, he was either busy with another customer or not there. Being commissioned, the other sales people didn't want to deal with me because I wasn't their customer. But several times walking in there when people may have not known who I was, I would still be there 15 minutes before anyone would even ask if I needed help. And if I asked a question, they seemed to be put out. Overall I would still recommend this place because you can get what you need at a decent price. But beware of the customer service and take that into consideration when doing business with them. read more

He was kind and patient with me, only sold me the merchandise I needed and made himself available when we had questions throughout the project. WORD OF WARNING: Do NOT NOT NOT ever shop at The Tile Shop! First of all they work on commission which is already a misalignment of incentives. Second, they were dishonest. They royally took advantage of us by intentionally selling us a much more expensive tile that is not even a good product for our purposes. It is TERRIBLE and when it was delivered (and was not nearly as nice of a tile as described) they simply said, "we sell it all the time" which is likely not true and certainly doesn't change the fact that the STORE MANAGER should have known better to sell it to us for a bathroom. The entire interaction was full of lies. Please do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere and save your money. read more

Terrible terrible terrible customer service!!! I went to the tile shop 2/2/19. Ordered a triple toggle stone switch plate to replace one that I broke while replacing a switch in my kitchen. They didn't have it in stock so they said they'd order it for me from another store and have it shipped to me in about four days. Great. Next Saturday came and I didn't have the cover. Called on Saturday. They said they were busy and they took my number and told me they'd call me back later that day. No call. No call on Sunday. I called on Monday and was told they were trying to track the cover. Another week went by. I called them again and they said it was in transit and it would be there in four days. Another week went by and I called again and was told the plate was in New Jersey and would ship soon. I asked how soon. They said they had no idea. That was enough. I cancelled the order. As I wrote above, terrible terrible terrible customer service. I understand that they might have trouble with the order. But I shouldn't have to chase it. So long tile shop! read more

We were in the store for 20 minutes. It should have been obvious that we were serious buyers because I was carrying the notebook of measurements, and three sample tiles we ordered on line to try to find larger pieces in store. While there, no one spoke to us. We tried (unsuccessfully) to decipher the coding on the tags to figure out where the tile is/not recommended. There are letters. I went to the main desk and looked around to see if there was a chart that did so, but there was not. The employee there was helping another guest. After 20 minutes without a single employee offering to help us, we left. This was very disappointing because we relied on the Bridgeton location for thhe how-to classes several years ago. read more

Just wasted 2 hrs of our time at this store. Were told they had enough in stock to do our project. After messing around getting all the rest of the materials to do the job, and waiting for them to pull out the tile, then we were told there wasnt enough to do it. Get your s*** together and get your inventories straight, what a waste of time! read more

I've had several interchanges with many of the staff and the manager of this store and I've been truly impressed with each visit. The staff is very professional, competent, and went the extra mile to satisfy my every need. I couldn't ask for a better store to go to for all things tile. I have been buying tile here for 20 years: porch floor slate, backsplash tiles, trims. Everyone has always been helpful, friendly, even kind. I cannot what would make the other reviewer have a rude experience unless he/she was rude. My sales folks have always been so patient. read more

Just had a horrible customer service experience. First we order a large amount of tile and they charged us $7 for a sample tile while most stores would comp that. The worst was delivery - there was an obviously broken tile visible on the pallet. The delivery person noticed it and was told to deliver our shipment anyway - I can't imagine what they were thinking other than we may not notice and they could effectively cheat us out of a tile. They had the nerve to scold my husband for refusing the shipment. Apparently after trying to sneak in defective merchandise we were supposed to trust that they would "make it right." There is NO excuse for knowingly sending broken tile and not informing the customer. They ended up sending an additional single tile - why did they not do that in the first place? Only answer I have is DISHONESTY, lack of integrity, and no care for their customers. I would recommend visiting to get ideas but purchasing tile from a more reputable store. read more
