While vacationing in OC a little over a week ago, my daughter purchased an Aviator Nation matching set from Island Gypsy. She brought it home and put it on to show me. I noticed that it looked like there was a loose seam on one of the pant legs. She had already removed the paper tag from the pants because she liked the set and thought she was keeping it. She didn't realize there was a hole in the seam until I pointed it out to her. The plastic from the tag was still attached. I drove down to OC about 10 days later and went into the store thinking I could exchange them for a new pair. I approached the manager and showed her the pants and my receipt and asked to exchange them. She told me there was nothing they could do because the tag was removed. I told her this was a quality issue, it was clearly a loose seam which is a manufacturer issue and the store should stand behind the quality of their products, tag or not. You could see that they were never worn, never washed, and brand new. She refused and said there was nothing they could do and that their return policy was posted all over the store. I wish I had seen the other bad reviews before spending any money at this store!!

They will personalize with names or whatever you want in gems and sparkles. There are shirts for birthdays or first days of school, to name a few. I gave this store 4 stars because they seem to only have one employee who has to wait on customers, do the garment personalization, answer questions.... i always seem to wait way too long to check out with my one item. The place is always hopping with women wanting to buy, but for me the price point is way too high even at 20% off a summer item in fall. Some of the precious fall dresses were upwards of $70. That's a whole lot for a toddler or preschooler. Still, as long as my own little granddaughters remain willing to wear what Gramma buys them, I will be drawn into the fairy land that is Bad Kitty.

Colette doesn't have 5 stores so you get outstanding service and personal assistance that is rare . When I visit Colette I get the best customer service and hands on attention to every detail. I will definitely be shopping here every summer and I have been visiting the website as I have Time right now. I actually was able to get some beautiful summer clothing sent to me that cheered me up during this Covid crisis. What more can you ask for?

The prices are very reasonable and there's just so much to see! I bought a beautiful batik dress, and this really cool terrarium that sits on driftwood among other things.. I will be back every chance I get!
