    Saison 4-pack to go!
    Vincent N.

I picked up a mixed pack of Saison and IPA, very delicious and coming back for more! If you can catch Pacifica on a nice day, the outdoor seating is awesome. Lots of seating, kid and dog friendly, and staff is helpful too. I'll be sure to come back soon for dinner with the family! *To the person who left a 2-star review below. If you have issues, esp during first few weeks of opening - let the staff know asap! They usually try to remedy the issues right then and there. We were invited here for a birthday party. The place just opened on May 9, 2025. There were a lot of people outside, not sure if they were all here for the party or just checking in. It was a beautiful day. You go in the bar area and place your order (limited menu for eats) but a ton of beer selections. I ordered the $18 burger with fries and lemonade. It was pretty good! You grab a number stand and they deliver it to you at your table. The odd thing was we had to pay for our food and drinks, but that's okay, I guess. The place was dog friendly which was great! Big place to hold a party outdoors. Lots of parking and right next to Sea Bowl.

Very open area was able to walk the beautiful outdoor seating before seating or ordering. Kierra took her time taking our order, making conversation before business which made us feel welcome. Food came out before we could finish our drinks! And was delicious. Planning on coming back at 4pm for the live music!!

I wanted to try a new brewery near me with fire oven pizza. The location has a lot of potential but could be managed better. When you walk in, you need to place your order with the bartender. We waited 10 mins since she was helping another guest. Lots of people started lining up after me to place an additional order and to close the tab. If they had a QR code on the table, it would expedite the process. The bartender worked really hard by herself, and lots of other staff members were clueless and just standing around. The food came pretty quickly, seafood chowder was misleading since it didn't have any rockfish inside but tasted good. The rockfish taco could have been made into two tacos instead of one. The Rapini pizza was good but a bit too burnt on the bottom. The special calamari with shrimp was really good. I felt the oil was a bit old and made the food look burnt and greasy. I would comeback for the pizza and special calamari

A nice place to get some beer (tbh I'm a wine girlie but still enjoyed their beer selection), hang out in the sun on the patio, catch up with friends, with plenty of room for the kiddos to run around.

Came across this cool restaurant brewery! Amazing service, ambiance, and menu. I tried a couple beer flights which I loved because I was able to try 8 different types of beers. My favorite was the Pineapple Express. Was able to buy some for to go. Food wise I tried the fig pizza which was 10/10, as well as the chowder *bomb*, and the salty pretzel with cheese (my favorite). The outdoor area is insanely nice! Huge space for potential parties. The owner mentioned there will be event nights coming up so I'm going to stay tuned. Pretty epic place!

    Crisp Lager!

Had a great time for a couple beers today. Asked the girl at the bar a little about the brewery and she gave me a quick helpful rundown. Rockaway brews on site, and they have their tanks right across the entrance of the bar (you can peek in the window if that's something that interests you). They had 8* (didn't snap a pic) beers up on the board of their own and one guest spot of the fantastic Old Rasputin from North Coast Brewing up in Fort Bragg. I had their West Coast IPA & crisp lager; both beers were solid! West coast was a bit citrusy, but had a bold & hoppy finish. Lager was clean, crisp, and had a very light body. Back patio area was large and accommodating, and they served a variety of food as well!

By good food, I meant they are great! The fries are probably better than just about anywhere I've had. I've only tried the plain and the garlic. I think I prefer the plain more. Though the garlic flavor infused into the fries, but the rough chopped raw garlic is a bit too sharp for my taste. I would probably try the truffle fries at least once though. I've tried other offerings and they had all been really good. I wish they also brew some kombucha for those who don't drink beer though.

So after all my chores in Colma DC, I Yelped this place and because I lost my sense of direction back to the city, I ended up here, lol. Easy parking. Counter service. My wife ordered our lunch and my daughter and I ordered our beers. Sadly, there was only ONE in house option?!?! And only 3 guest options. How is that possible?!?! This is a brewery right?!?! And the one in house option was NOT something I typically drink, but you know I had to try and support. The food was good! We got two burgers with garlic fries (75¢ up charge), not sure if the garlic was raw though?!?! Mediterranean Cobb Salad with added Grilled Chicken $18 - My wife said it was just okay. Mango Habanero Wings - Dry, but with decent flavors. In summary, come for the burgers and fries unless they can do a better job brewing! Ambiance - Brewery warehouse setting. Semi open kitchen. Small parking lot, but I was lucky and got a very good space. Kid and dog friendly. Clean bathrooms with outside sinks, thank you. Pinball machine row, see pictures. Plenty of indoor and outdoor picnic style seating. Open 6 days a week from noon until 8pm or 9pm. Closed Mondays. Events, see their website. Service - Counter service. Water and utensils self service. I even had to go back up to get "to-go" containers. The first guy was not very welcoming. The second guy with the longer hair was slightly better. Then the second long hair guy started bussing and cleaning tables was more personable. Price - $118; expensive for what we got. Next time I will just come for the food. A more generous tip than earned or deserved. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 2012 and at this location since 2017. Good luck.

After that introduction, I've been a huge fan and supporter even since. Blink and you'll miss it; it just looks like another warehouse from the side of the road. And, well, it is! This where the action happens and the bottles are born, you're just lucky enough to be invited inside. Unpretentious, chill, and down to earth. It's even dog-friendly so everyone's welcome here. I've loved everything I've tried, from whiskey to gin, but the sassafras liqueur is really something special. I don't know of a single other example on the legal market. Don't leave without at least giving it a shot, literally!

Tasting was offered/lead by Jason, the owner/spirit maker. They offered a you-choose flight of 3 with about 8 different liquors to pick from. They had all the ones pictured on the board as well as a couple that hadn't quite made full production yet. Between my boyfriend and I's flights we were able to taste 6. Went with rum, brandy, sassafras, a red vodka not on the list, a special blue lotus flower gin, and the single malt whiskey. The liquors tatsted great and it was a lot of fun talking with Jason about how he makes the different spirits. Can't wait for that blue lotus flower gin to be available for purchase! We didn't spend a long time here as it was a 3 taste max, but it was a fun little pit stop on our day. The entrance was a little hidden, but we saw the sign and knew we were headed in the right direction. There's no real big front entrance, just their name on a door letting you know they're there. Almost felt like a speakeasy since it was so un-showy. Street parking is available and plentiful.

Server did not really seem to want me to order at the bar instead of through the QR app. I ordered two flights and two single drinks for our party of four and one of the flights was not correct when brought to our table. Regardless we drank through the flights, enjoying the nice weather that day. Went up and purchased a mix and match four-pack on the way out, tipped well despite the so so service. Made our next stops and when we got home later was really disappointed to see the beers I brought home were not the ones I asked for. I know, my bad for not checking before I left, but I was left with the feeling that there was no attention to detail regarding the service we received that day. Two stars because we enjoyed most of the beers we did try.

We didn't expect much in this area because we were coming from the somewhat industrial looking side, but decided we wanted to look for a brewery. We googled and ended up trying this place out. Because of the weather, we didn't think there would be anyone else in here and didn't have super high hopes. We were so wrong! When we entered, there was a duo playing live music. They were enjoyable to listen to. There were also quite a few people in there of all ages and seemingly, different walks of life--always a fun thing to see. I ordered a flight and every beer on it was nice and crispy cold--the only way to enjoy beer in my opinion. And the flavors of every one were so impressive. We both love beer and are very impartial to our own local breweries in the town we live in--but coming here made me wish this was in our town! My husband ordered a pint of Sea Wolf and he really enjoyed that. I had the Love Boat on my flight which sounded intriguing to me. It was SO GOOD. It was an ill Ali eery and graham cracker sour. I'm not always a sour lover, but it was the perfect balance. I would say that and the Sea Wolf were my favorites. The gal working, Lauren, was incredibly sweet. We asked for some local suggestions of places she liked for food, drinks, etc. and she was really helpful--gave us lots of great insight. She also chatted with us about her dog and ours...overall just really cool vibes. This will definitely be a go-to spot on all our future visits to the HMB area!
