I ended up here, because the breakfast burrito place I usually frequent wasn't open and this was the first suggestion on Yelp. I wasn't impressed by the bacon breakfast wrap. The texture and taste of the egg, bacon, and potatoes all blended together. It basically felt like it was just an egg wrap. I came a second time because the burrito place I go to was closed again and I really was craving one. I got the breakfast wrap from here with both bacon and black beans and it was a lot better! I felt like the beans added some much needed texture and it had more bacon. I'd definitely get it that way again if my normal place isn't open, but what surprised me were the lemon ricotta pancakes. They were DELECTABLE, the BEST thing I've put in my mouth in a while. They literally almost melted in my mouth, the ricotta added a lot of richness to the pancakes, and the lemon curd was a delicious tart contrast to the creaminess of the pancake. read more

I go here every time I'm in Portland, it's SO GOOD. I am a huge fan of their French toast rolls, especially the ham, cheese, and scallion, YUM. The price isn't the cheapest at $2.50 each but totally worth the amazing food. Service is always great and quick. It's a good truck in a good truck park so there's lots of tables for sitting and some covers when it's raining or super sunny to sit under. read more

I love breakfast and it's always super special to find a food truck that does breakfast, plus they had a gluten free option for me, so I got the breakfast wrap but in a bowl. It was good, but it could have been amazing if the hash browns were better. I am not sure what happened there because my hash brown was very small, dried out (despite being buried under everything else), and kind of grey (oxidation?). Not having visited the Rose City Food Park in a year, I walked around to see if any new food carts popped up. There were some new faces and I walked around several times since I always seem to have a hard time making food decisions. Some of the prices at the other carts were a wee bit out of my comfort range ($6 for banh mi, $13-14 for a bbq sandwich, etc) so I just stopped by Rocket Breakfast and grabbed a cheapie Breakfast Burrito with bacon ($6.50). Super friendly and quick service! As I was handed my wrapped up burrito, it felt dense and heavy. (a good sign! Big portions!) I drove home and took an unassuming bite. WHOA! What was in this thing? I did a doubletake. It wasn't like a Mexican burrito at all but tasted more like a diner brunch plate rolled into a flour tortilla. SO GOOD! I told my husband to come take a bite of my burrito because it was really tasty so he did and claimed it tasted just like the $15 Ultimate Hash plate he had that morning at a fancier restaurant. I finished the whole thing (it's a pretty big burrito. Even big eaters will be full) and was a happy camper. The best part was, there were no beans in it which meant = no indigestion and gas. Hooray! Will definitely be back to grab some more food from this cart. (and next time will grab a pint from the beer garden for a perfect lunch :) read more

We split the lemon ricotta pancakes with the strawberry compote, and made a melange of a few rollups: jalapeno cream cheese, maple bacon and canadian bacon and scallion. The food was DELICIOUS. Though the pancakes were light and fluffy, the ricotta gives the cake a wet/moist texture that almost comes out as soggy. It wasn't anything negative to stop eating them or complain but the ricotta makes them extra moist and maybe pancakes are better more dry? The 4 rollups we shared (duped the maple bacon) were all excellent. The right amount of food for snacking, not overly gorging in the morning. And for $15, we left happy. Normally I wouldn't go out of my way to leave a poor review, but I feel like the fact that this place has such good reviews overall is just misleading. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day, I'm not sure. I called to have amazon deliver me some breakfast, after a tree falling across the driveway during a storm and finding myself trapped without food. I chose this place out of the breakfast places on the list for Amazon restaurants because it had the best rating. I ordered a couple of breakfast wraps (like breakfast burritos). When they arrived, not only were they really small (I ordered a burrito from a food card the day before for the exact same price that was at least twice the size of this), but the tortillas weren't toasted at all. They were just limp and excessively flour-y, as if they'd been pulled straight out of a package from winco and slapped right down on the paper. There was no spice or flavor in any of the fillings whatsoever. It literally tasted like cardboard. I tried cutting up the few veggies I had in the fridge and adding it, and while it helped a little, it wasn't great. There was no salt at all. The only reason I didn't give it one star is because it didn't actually make me sick. But I'm kind of upset that I wasted $24 on something like this. I'm not leaving a poor review to be nasty; I just wouldn't want anybody else to see all of the great reviews and think, like I did, that this is the best place around to order breakfast from.
