The steak itself was absolutely perfect and the bread under soaked up all those juices so you didn't have to lick the plate after (great ingenuity when dining out :)) The desserts were fantastic but the star of the show was def the raspberry blondie. It was everything I imagined and more. The perfect sweet and tart mixed in a bowl with spoons ... thank you for not plating this - I felt like I was at home about to sit on the couch and indulge in something I created. Perfect experience, perfect presentation and to top it off their restaurant is surrounded by their farm. Looking down the aisle, I didn't know what size I needed. After looking for someone to help for about ten minutes, I found someone. He asked if I measured the bolt and I said I didn't know how. He pointed in the general direction of something, then told me there is a tool to measure bolts down the aisle. (Not great service...) I found it and it didn't take long to figure it out. Once I had the right measurements, finding the right one is very hard to do. The person I asked earlier saw me with a "deer in the headlights" look on my face and asked if I found what I was looking for. No. He seemed to begrudgingly start to look through the drawers. He finally found three, handing them to me and walked away. I needed six and the washers. I had a general idea where to find them and checked the drawer he was looking at. I couldn't find any more bolts. Also the washers weren't in the drawer so I looked around. It took me a while but I found a similar washer (bigger but it will work) and the lock washers. I'm short three bolts. Overall, I still think Lowes has a good variety of items. I can't fault them for not having enough of the specific bolt I needed - I was able to time them later on Amazon - but the service was terrible. The person I worked with could have been more helpful; could have asked if I had everything I needed. He shouldn't have just walked away,

Anna rang me up right at lawn mower aisle. Anna offered even offered to load into my vehicle as she told me drive around to main door. She met me outside & we lifted into vehicle. I offered to tip her but said NO .. Employees here go extra mile be helpful & courteous!!! Kudos to Anna In & out in 15 minutes!!!

Once you step inside, it's a typical Ace Hardware -- paint, tools, garden supplies, hardware, and other assorted home improvement items... in addition to very friendly employees. They're helpful too -- when they know where things are. And even if they don't know, they try with a smile, so you can't really be annoyed with them. The one thing that does annoy me? The prices. Many items are priced higher than Lowe's or Home Depot. Since this is individually owned, it doesn't really surprise me. However, I'm OK with it when I consider that most big chain tool stores don't offer the personal service found here. Occasionally, they've got a popcorn maker with free, fresh popcorn for customers. Super salty, but so good. Craving an old fashioned soda? You can find different brands of old-fashioned root beers and creme sodas here, too (for sale, of course). I actually swung by this afternoon and left with a couple paint tools, root beer, and popcorn. On the way out, a couple cashiers struck up a conversation with us. It was such a pleasant experience!

A nightmare from start to finish…read more We purchased a dishwasher. Turns out the door was extremely difficult to open and close. When my husband called the number to call with any problems he was told the door was defective and the machine needed to be replaced. OK. Fast forward to the next week. The crew came to include the installer. Although my husband turned off the main water supply he specifically told the installer to turn the water supply off under the sink because there could be accumulated water in the line. The installer said no need to do that and did it his way. At that point water started to gush out and we both were scrambling to grab bath towels to clean up the mess. In addition, they scratched the tile on the floor when pushing the refrigerator back in. The next day my husband noticed that the kick plate was crooked. He went to straighten it out and realized that only one side was screwed in. That prompted him to take a flash light and look underneath. Turns out the grounding wire was not connected. I hope people understand how serious that is plus none of the wires were taped. Also, the metal junction box to cover the wires was missing. My husband went to the store and talked to a manager. We then received a call that a different person would come the following week to correct the electrical issue and to bring a junction box. He also confirmed the delivery date and a reminder to bring the junction box with their BOT. The following week the THIRD crew came to our house. The grounding wire issue was corrected and the wires were taped. Now, where is the metal junction box? The drivers don't have it. One showed me the info that the warehouse receives directly from the store. It did NOT include the instructions to bring the junction box. My husband then went to the store and was given one. He then came home and completed the final steps of the dishwasher installation. We have purchased all of the appliances in our home from Home Depot. Our last two came with delivery/installation issues. This will be the last time that we purchase any appliances from Home Depot.
