This place is incredible. I love the interior if you're into rock and roll Classic Rock great pictures and one of the best $20 deals in town with no further. Atmosphere is like that of a bar which they have but when it comes to the pizza and the salad, my favorite deal is two slices of salad and then I ordered a soda but if you order a draft beer, the total deal is $20 but if you drink soda? The seating is incredibly comfortable. I did not have to wait very long for my food. The salad is crunchy delicious and I ordered blue cheese dressing, but my two choices for pizza? Out for the classes so I'd have one slice of sausage one slice of pepperoni. If you can find parking steal it, this is the place to go to. Oh my God the pizza is delicious. It is beautiful Chris. Cool music great artwork... I wish I could stay here forever. The pizza slices are perfect and they make each bite welcome the next bite!

I always order to-go and the service is always great here. The food is so good too - it keeps me coming back

Cheese Slice & Meatball Slice - pizza is not very tasty

If you're looking for a great slice of pizza, then this is not it. I had a cheese slice and a sausage slice for $11. Unfortunately, neither were very good. The service was good and friendly. No problems there. The ambiance is casual and loud (like a rock show) and it was giving more of a bar vibe than pizza/by/the-slice vibe. That's probably why most people go there- to drink. They had karaoke there, though, so that is probably fun.

20" Appetite For Destruction

I implore you to allow your hunger to seek refuge with this scrumptious pie (or any other from their menu). Feast thy gaze upon the 20" Appetite For Destruction. Perfection wouldn't provide the necessary justice required by adjectives to describe this pie. Crust? A supreme combination of fluffy and crispy. Ingredients? A divine freshness and aroma to couple the immaculate grandiloquence that is the pie itself. I must ask ... nay - beg you to not waste any more of that precious cash on any other establishment.

Slice of greasy cheese and pepperoni. Okay.

I suppose this is fine. 2x slices and a coke for $12 dollars is nothing to sneeze at. Ordered the cheese and pepperoni. Both were decently large sized. Both were also greasy and floppy. Undercarriage had no discernible char. I was left somewhat hanging .

This place is pretty sweet. If you're a music snob like myself. Loved all the rad posters on the wall - damn I wish I could have seen Rob Zombie and the Melvins at the Santa Monica Civic. The cheese sticks stretch longer than a Phish jam They even have crazy dollar bills on the walls which makes this currency tracking dork happy The staff was cool and the food was pretty decent, I really enjoyed the Purple Haze. Stoked to come back here in the future when I was s slice and some good tunes

Meatball Slice & mushroom (2 Slice Special Beer)

Delicious East Coast style pizza in a place that's designed to look like a concert venue. Cool music themed murals adorn the walls and a rocking soundtrack plays in the background while you eat. The two slices and a beer or soda deal here is really good. There's also a decent craft beer selection, as well as a beer selection in general. I got a meatball slice and a mushroom slice with a craft IPA. This came to $17 before tax and tip ($2 extra for the 'craft'). The pizza was really good. It reminded me of New York style slices from places I used to work at when I was in high school. I would actually love to come back and try one of their specialty pizzas. I wasn't sure if those were available as a slice. The service seem pretty standard. We had a big group, and there was only one maybe two people Kinda, working in the place. But the person was helpful and efficient. There's also TV so you can watch games while you eat and drink. Overall, this place is pretty great and represents a great value I think.

The pizza was delicious. The only thing that was weird was how we ordered our food. We sat down and had to wait a while until the waiter was free. The waiter was also bar tending. Which was why it may have been confusing to us. Other than that, the food was great. Oh, and when we were done eating, no one came to give us our check so we were confused as to where to pay. and had to ask for it ourselves. it was just a confusing experience but the food and staff were nice!

Eggplant parm (takeout)

If you grew up on New York pizza, you'll probably want to skip this place. I've eaten there a couple times, and got takeout (eggplant parmesan) once. Pizza: The crust is just wrong (too dense and too hard) - if you're looking for New York pizza, this isn't it. The sauce is ok, but sort of weak. The toppings are good. I've gotten their pizza by the slice and as a whole pie. The individual slices were better than the pie, which doesn't really make sense, but that was my experience. Eggplant Parm: Nothing special. Greasier than ideal and the spaghetti was overcooked. But this was a takeout order - maybe it would have been better if I'd eaten there. Service is fine, but not particularly friendly. The ambiance is nice - it's a perfectly fine place to sit around. If only the pizza was better. Note: I've been there with non-New Yorkers who seemed to like it much more than I did. I question their taste, but if you have a less-discerning pizza palate, you might like Rock'n Pies more than I did. I chose not to share my opinions with these non-NY friends, because they were happy and there was no reason to rain on their parade. I wouldn't choose to go back to Rock'n Pies on my own, but if I was with other people who really wanted to eat there, I'd probably shut up and eat a slice of not-great pizza.

I stopped by recently on a weekday to grab lunch and get some work done. The place was 90% full on a weekday lunch time filled with people and their laptops. I barely found us a table. The Forager Salad with baby arugula, butternut squash, apple, roasted pecans, dried cranberries, goat cheese & cinnamon date vinaigrette was so delicious! It was flavorful and refreshing. I added chicken for extra protein. I love this salad more than the last one (Miso Cesar) I got. Miso Cesar is a bit more salty even though that salad is also creative in terms of flavor, and very good as well. The Forager is lighter and has a hint of sweetness with the sliced apples.I will be back again! Parking can be a challenge depending on the time of the week and day. There is metered street parking and you can also park at Vons across the street for 90 minutes for free if you do some shopping there. The vibe is like an open work space, with food and drinks, lots of mostly good-looking people and their pets. Good energy throughout.

The ambience is calm and breezy; waitstaff are very attentive and friendly. Hubby and I shared the broad beans with fennel and fried shallots. My first time trying it and even if you hate lima beans (these are similar in shape but so much nicer), you will crave this creamy, savory dish. I'm still salivating over the Caesar salad with white anchovies; don't be discouraged just because anchovies have a bad rap for being fishy. The white ones are vinegar-y and fresh and they use bread crumbs instead of croutons. I love the addition of the slightly bitter but crunchy radicchio. For the main, we shared the guanciale white pizza (no tomato sauce) and the crust is thin and bubbly like you would get in Naples. And for dessert, we chose the Basque-like cheesecake with sour cherry compote. Hubby and I don't drink alcohol anymore so there are three mocktail choices along with a zero-proof IPA that's very hoppy. I chose the hibiscus mocktail and it was perfectly icey, tart and fragrant. Honestly the best meal I've had in a long while and the prices are affordable and ideal for a first date or a business meeting.

They don't take reservations, so be prepared to wait. There's a few bars nearby if you're waiting. Once you're able to sit down, you'll find a cute wine bar with amazing food that doesn't disappoint. Don't skip the fries. They're some of the best things I've eaten. I dream about those fries. The Peruvian scallops are dreamy. Very light, very refreshing. The same can be said about the cucumber salad. The standout of the evening was by far the burger. I've been to Dudley Market a handful of times, and I'd yet to try it. I'm so glad that I did. It was probably one of the best burgers I've ever had before. I highly recommend ordering this. Overall, Dudley Market is a fantastic restaurant in Venice Beach and I hope it stays our neighborhood spot for a long time.
