I absolutely destroyed my pesto slice hahaha it came looking really nice! The ambiance here is so great. Fantastic spot to eat at while waiting for your laundry to be done next door. The vibes of staff were great. You can sit at bar or a table. Will definitely be back great quality pizza.

Pizza was great. Service was not. We were a group of six and told by the guy with long hair and glasses to clear our own table -- there were no other open spots. When we started doing that, the guy with the beanie and beard got upset and snapped at us for touching the dishes, saying we made him stop what he was doing to wipe the table. Both employees were rude and dismissive. One had time to chat with a friend at the bar but no time to offer decent service. We were also criticized for ordering by the slice instead of whole pies. I get that things can get hectic, but don't take it out on your customers. I regret leaving a tip because they didn't deserve the $3.... (20%)

Good pizza, not the greatest but very good. So I always judge pizza by the plain cheese pizza, being I grew up on pizza living in the Bronx makes me a tough guy to please! So had cheese pie and a margarita pizza I was not that crazy about, but the cheese was very good. We got there late on a Monday night just before closing. The service was great the gentleman behind the bar was very nice. Cool vibe inside, and probably a great place to drink and eat pizza. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Food was great, prices fair, and service on pint. What's there not to love?!? I'm sorry for those who said their pizza was not crispy in all the right spots were you too busy gabbing that it got cold way later??? Seriously bc my pizza and my penne with pink sauce were definitely above the 3.5 star expectations I had. I'll Definitely be back when in the area. Seriously worth the stop!

Delicious. Just go. Really, stop reading, just go. Somewhat Upscale order up neighborhood pizza place, with surprisingly solid standard restaurant fare including tortellini, and an amazing baked ziti (they completely nailed this dish). They have a small but well curated the selection of beers on tap, as well as a full bar. The atmosphere is upscale though seating is basically at picnic tables and two tops. Very well lit, clean, spacious, the place just feels "fresh." Very friendly service. Definitely a go!

Taste is fine. Zero crisp to the crust, but overall decent pie. I just need to find a place in LA that knows how to cook a pizza properly and let the crust develop.

The pasta was easily some of the best we've had outside of Italy -- simple, authentic, and executed at a very high level. It genuinely felt like being transported back to Italy. Every dish was balanced, fresh, and memorable. Our server, Kiara, delivered exceptional hospitality. She made us feel welcome, relaxed, and genuinely taken care of the entire evening. She's a great example of how service should be done. We enjoyed it so much that we were recommending the restaurant to people on our way out. There was a situation during our visit that concerned me at the time. I won't go into details here, but what matters most is how it was handled. Shortly after, I was contacted directly by the regional manager. He had already reviewed the situation internally and addressed it promptly. Our conversation was thoughtful, professional, and focused on doing the right thing. What stood out most is their philosophy: they're not just in the business of serving pasta -- they're in the business of taking care of people. That clearly extends to both their guests and their team. That level of accountability and leadership is rare, and it turned a great experience into one that I respect even more. Kiara absolutely represents the standard they aim for, and we'll definitely be back.

I like that they make their own pasta. The food was decent. I got the carbonara and my friend got the cacio e pepe. The cacio e pepe was a bit salty but the carbonara was pretty good and not salty and the insalats was also good with a nice almond crunch. The food took a bit to come to us. They mixed up orders and gave the other diners their food first who just barely ordered because we had the same order. Disappointed they didn't get us first. So the service was meh. We were trying to get our wine we ordered and it took 3 separate asks before we got the wine we ordered. Overall decent food but poor service. Staff is nice when they serve you but their logistics is all over the place. Romantic atmosphere but way too dark.

The staff is great, and the menu offers a nice variety of dishes. Some favorites are the mushroom pizza, boar ragù, sole, and branzino. We often bring out-of-town guests here because of the convenient location and their ability to accommodate larger parties. Our favorite table when dining with friends is the one immediately to the left when you enter- it's more tucked away from the rest of the restaurant, making it cozy, more intimate, and easier to have conversations. Dinner typically requires a reservation unless you arrive early, and it's much livelier than lunchtime. The wine recommendations are always excellent, and it's a great spot for a relaxed, leisurely meal. They strike the perfect balance between a polished dining experience and attentive service. We usually sit inside, but now that we have a puppy, we're looking forward to enjoying their patio on our next visit. Parking is easy- if meters aren't available, there's plenty of parking on nearby residential side streets (just pay attention to the signs). It's also a great area to walk around afterward for dessert or coffee.

We finally came here in early 2026, with a last-minute reservation. We found street parking easily nearby and were seated as soon as we came in. It was a Saturday night around 5:30 ish when we came in, but the restaurant was buzzing. Every seat was full, and there were people without reservations trying to get tables. The dining room was dimly lit and tables are quite close together, making it feel more like a restaurant in NYC than in LA. We could hear very clearly what tables around us were saying. Our waiter was brusque and efficient. There wasn't any friendly chatter between us, but we always had everything we needed when we needed it. We ordered two appetizers and two main dishes, as well as dessert. I will say the lasagna here was delectable. It was honestly hard to stop eating this, even when I knew I was full. It was on the heavier side, but felt very comforting eating this on a winter's night. For my main, I had the chargrilled calamari and shrimp which were very good. This would be a good one to order if you're not in the mood for pasta. We couldn't go past the bomboloni for dessert, which was good, but not amazing. They had several other dessert options which sounded great too. This is a solid choice for dinner if you're craving Italian in Santa Monica. Will likely be back in future.

They have metal tables and chairs with loud speakers blasting music that echoes throughout the space. Add in loud crowds and kids dropping utensils, and it makes the whole environment pretty unpleasant. As for the food, we ordered the garlic knots, a croissant, the hanger steak, the peach and hot honey pizza, and the wood-fired vanilla bean pound cake for dessert. We covered a good amount of their key items. The main takeaway is that while everything is cooked well, but the dishes really lack flavor. I dine out to get flavors that are not easily made at home, and unfortunately, I did not find them here. The food lacks depth, and frankly, it needs salt to make it stand out. The pizza dough is actually really well prepped, easily as good as Pizzeria Sei, which is the best pizza place in LA, period. But again, it just lacks flavor. Also, as a small side note, there is a 4% employee health insurance surcharge added to the final bill. I probably just missed it listed on the menu somewhere, but oh well. Overall, it is a decent place, but I would not go out of my way to come back here.

The bread that came with it was perfectly toasted and honestly my favorite part of the dish. The spicy pomodoro was perfectly al dente and flavorful but it didn't really live up to the hype for me. I couldn't taste any truffle and it wasn't spicy at all. It was still a good pasta, just not life changing. The squid ink mafaldine was unfortunately pretty lackluster. The pasta tasted like al dente salt water, the prawns were overcooked, and it felt like they just threw a handful of raw basil on top and called it a day. The wines were good and paired well with the food but there wasn't anything particularly memorable about them. Service was great. Our server was super attentive and helpful. Overall, I enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere was great, service was on point, and even though some dishes fell short, I'd definitely come back to try their other dishes!

Ospi Venice is a memorable spot with a beautiful atmosphere, great knowledgeable servers, and amazing unforgettable dishes. Side of warm marinara. If you love cheese this is your dish. - Neopolitan Meatballs: Lets face it. I am a meatball snob. I was taught by my Italian Portuguese Mama Rose who took me in when I first moved away from home and taught me authentic italian cuisine. These meatballs almost (ALMOST) reminded me of cooking with her - soft, tender, and loaded in flavor. - Kale: recommended by Jessica and I can see why. This dish was one of the best kale salads I have ever had. Get it. You won't regret it! - Margherita with Pepperoni Piiza: the thinnest pizza crust I have ever had! And because of it, each ingredient was left to shine. I knew it was a must order when every table also had this pizza. - Tonnarelli: a cacio e pepe simple and so good every ingredient worked perfectly together. Pasta al dente and tossed with just the right amount of sauce. - Tiramisu, Connolis (another Jessica recommendation), Brownie. As full as I was I tried it all. No regrets whoever their pastry chef is knows exactly how to get customers addicted. Keep her/him & Jessica...lol! - Hot Girl Summer Cocktail: gin and honey? Yes please. - Extra Dirty Martini: Perfection. That's all I can say.
