During the inspection, the sales representative told me that I could not have bought the tires in 2024 because the manufacturer's date, which is stamped on the wall of each tire, is different from the purchase date I provided. Turns out two of the tires were from 2020, the original purchase year of my vehicle, and the other two were from 2021. Prognosis: I needed 4 new tires due to the wear factor of each tire. Once the original bill of sale was produced, I was told that it must have been a manufacturer's error and that the Michelin Primacy tire I purchased isn't very popular, so the manufacturer must have shipped Discount Tire old tires, and the store didn't realize it. The very same day, my wife had an appointment with the same Discount Tire to have a flat repaired. I was told that she drove on the flat for too long and that the tire needed to be replaced. I informed the manager that this was not the case. The drive's flat tire went flat less than 50 feet from my driveway, and the car sat until our scheduled appointment. The manager stated that it was a bad tire and suggested I buy 4 new tires because the tires on the vehicle were hard to locate and match. He also said that he believed that the whole was too large to repair. At that point, I asked the manager to place the tire back in the hatch of my vehicle, so that I could drive the vehicle across the street to the dealer who had just performed a full inspection of the vehicle, including the tires, not more than a week before the flat. The dealer provided a written inspection report, showing that my 2024 vehicle was tip-top, including the tires. At that point, the manager of Discount Tire took the flat tire into his shop, where it was concluded that the tire was not faulty and that it could be repaired.

( instead of it already been changed before they called me saying it was done) . so i waited a half hour and when they brought it back out the vehicle was now full of tiny scratches that were not here before. then i noticed the body lines didn't match up on the tail gate to quarter panel which the owner mentioned it was a american car . after going thru the pictures taken when it was first dropped of it showed those scratches where not there when i brought it in. the owner told me to bring it back the coming Monday as it was Friday afternoon then, and he would get it fixed. so all weekend i stewed thinking about it and come Monday i took it back . then i kept getting these survey emails so i eventually responded and pretty much described the crap job honestly that they tried to sell me. 2 days later i get a call the vehicle is done and they read the survey which they were not happy about. when i went to pick it up it looked good but i only was looking a the back.after i got it home in the garage i noticed a new dent coming from the inside pointing out on the middle of the driver side quarter panel. already fed up i figured im gonna sell it as i do not trust it anymore.. well tonight after its been sitting in my garage since i pulled it in then, i noticed the finish ground off on the top of the door panel where it meets the roof. I will never take a vehicle or recommend them to anyone now. either they hired a moron or someones bent on discouraging people from trusting them to do the job right. unfrikenbelievable is the word. seems every time i return it to have the job done right it comes back with other damage. what was one a accident free impeccable body now looks like crap. It's not worth what little money difference there is between Payless and discount tire. Go to discount tire.
