We've been here several times. The service and food is always amazing. Once they provided us a tour of the place. Showed us where the well was located in the building in the basement. Stopped there yesterday for dinner to pick up. Mask is required, dead in there, and everyone was helpful and waited on me immediately. The food was amazing as usual. Will be back again soon

This is a very nice restaurant located in downtown Elizabeth, PA. They serve very high quality food and have a lobster bisque that is out of this world! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to have a nice night out, or celebrating a special occasion!

Food was amazing. Kitchen was backed up so we had a very long wait. Server gave us desserts on the house.

Way overpriced for Elizabeth. You'd think it was Manhattan. I'll never go there. You can get better food elsewhere much cheaper.

Shared the crab cake and red wine mussels. Both are excellent. I went for a seasonal sea bass which was grilled to golden brown, seasoned perfectly. Stuffed shrimps got a very nice comments. Everyone was satisfied about the meal. It was quite pricey, which was expected when we walked in because of the ambiance. So why only 3 stars? I live in Las Vegas and my guy lives in this area (long distance). Well, we were with friends that my guy hadn't spent time with in a while, and this was my first time meeting them. Nice double date! 3 out of 4 of us got multiple drinks and we were enjoying our dinner. We got dessert too. The manager checked on us once. We probably stayed about 20ish minutes after desert while talking and finishing drinks. We got up and used the restroom, and saw the mgr in there. We heard her say that our table "finally decided to leave." Very unprofessional when you are sharing the same restroom as customers to then be talking about them. I'd say the same thing had she not been talking about us but another table. I have 20+ years in the hospitality industry and that rubbed me the wrong way. Food wasn't good enough to come back, so this is a place that relies on ambience and service, which we'd come back for if the service were great...be hospitable. The server was knowledgeable and kind; it's too bad the manager couldn't keep her thoughts about well paying, well tipping customers to an area where customers couldn't overhear.

If you're a pickle lover, this is an absolute must- pickles under the cheese and fried pickles on top... it's next-level good!! The Tavern's Mustard Chicken sandwich was also delicious, loaded with roasted red peppers, bacon, and lemon pepper aioli that really pulls it all together. And the onion rings? Cooked to perfection....crispy, not greasy, exactly how they should be! Service was friendly and fast, which made the whole experience even better. They had Penn Sarris Chocolate Peanut Butter beer on tap, and wow--seriously yum. Definitely grab it before it's gone! Bonus points for not charging that annoying 3% credit card fee. That alone deserves a thank you Already looking forward to our next visit!

Elrama Tavern - A Legendary Comeback Worth Celebrating…read more Elrama Tavern has always been one of those hidden gems--years ago, it might not have looked like much from the outside, but those of us who knew it understood: the food was absolutely amazing, and the drinks were just as impressive. It quickly became a go-to spot for us, the kind of place you return to again and again because it never lets you down. Unfortunately, like many longtime fans, I remember the heartbreak when the tavern burned down over two years ago. It was a sad day, not just because of the building, but because we lost a local treasure filled with memories and good times. But here's the good news: Elrama Tavern is back--and better than ever. They've rebuilt from the ashes, and the new space looks incredible. You can feel the love, resilience, and pride that went into bringing this place back to life. This was my first time grabbing food from here in years, and even though it was just a pickup order, it felt like a homecoming. I snapped a few photos, chatted with the friendly woman at the counter, and was told that the downstairs dining area is absolutely stunning--something I can't wait to experience firsthand when we return for lunch soon. I'm beyond happy for the team at Elrama Tavern. They've come full circle, and we're lucky to have them back in the community. Can't wait to sit down next time and enjoy the full experience all over again. Welcome back, Elrama--you were missed, and you came back strong.

Their lent menu is a little more trimmed down than their regular food truck menu I have seen before. I got the fish sandwich, hush puppies, and a large side of lobster mac and cheese. It was a little pricey, $31. The lobster mac and cheese was as much as the sandwich for a container the size of a to-go soup bowl which seemed like a little much. There weren't that many lobster pieces for the price, like 3 or 4 decent-sized chunks, and the mac and cheese itself was pretty bland. The fish sandwich was the best part but I still wasn't wow-ed; I was also charged $1 for one slice of american cheese. I'm fine with paying extra for things, that just seemed excessive. The hush puppies and fries were clearly just frozen, and the fries were cold. For the price, I wouldn't come back here during lent but may visit the food truck at a different time to see the bigger menu.

The slaw was good too, but overall I'm just not that big of a fan of slaw. The fish and chips came with 4 decently sized pieces of haddock and a bunch of fries. Honestly, this could be a meal for 2 people if you're not extremely hungry. It was kind of expensive, but worth it in my opinion due to the quality and the amount of food. I would go again. Needless to say we are both somewhat picky when it comes to seafood. I was somewhat skeptical when we approached, however this place was super clean, the products were well sealed, nothing freezer burnt or of low quality. My wife was impressed with the pompano, which we both like. Remember we have access to wholesalers and the quality exceeded what I can get in Columbus, Ohio. The fish were rather large as well. I resisted the urge to splurge, I got some excellent scallops that were on par with wholesale prices. They are basically selling seafood at wholesale prices. We drove home 3 hours with the product in a professional cold bag...the fish was still rock hard. Both me and my wife were impressed with the freezers they were using as they keep everything extremely cold which also preserves product. I know there is wholey's in the strip, but frack that traffic. All in all, when we come through Da Burgh, which is often this will be one of our must stops. Honestly, you're gonna do a disservice to yourself if you don't stop in for some seafood.
