Was not impressed with this chocolate company. I stopped in because I like to try truffles or specialty chocolate from places when I travel. I ended up getting 4 truffles as they didn't have any real bar chocolate options. The girl at the counter was sweet, but she put the truffles in a bag and not a box. I asked for one and she happily gave me one, but I thought it was odd because they were just smooshed together and rolling around in the bag. The truffles themselves were big, but still not worth the price in my opinion. Tasted almost like they had been made several days prior and weren't fresh. The birthday cake was actually the best one of the 4 I got. The others just tasted artificially flavored and I couldn't finish them. Positive: the bathrooms in this complex are nice! read more

The fudge was old and inedible. My husband's giant PB cup was solid inside (where is the delicious PB filling??). The ice cream was tasty, but considering this is a chocolate shop it felt like a waste of money. read more

Someone in our group was craving Ice cream. We found the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory tucked back into this cute little area with tables and other restaurants that were closed. We waited outside in line, 6 feet apart from others. Which was fine because there was lots to look at around us! Once inside, the smell was mouthwatering and It was very inviting. There was a great selection to pick from. We bought English toffee caramel apples, caramel peanut and chocolate chip! Wow I think I ate 1 and 1/2! Delicious, crisp, soft caramel. I tried three different kinds of chocolate desserts they had there. 1. The Caramel chocolate pretzel, 2. The milk chocolate English Toffee, and the third one I can't remember, but it had sea salted chocolate and the guy that helped me said it was like airy when you bit it. I also tried the salted caramel espresso ice cream. I'm not even kidding when I say THESE FOUR THINGS WERE DELICIOUS and the salted caramel espresso ice cream which includes some thin pieces of chocolate was the best Ice cream I've ever had. I really hope they have this place in Texas! The guy that was helping us was super friendly and although he was a bit tired, he was getting everything we needed. I had asked him for recommendations, and he gave really good ones. The place is clean, and has a very nice ambiance. First impression: Very clean. I had a dark chocolate cashew and caramel bar. Delicious. Along with that the guy that was working that day was on his toes. Even though he was the only one working during that time, he greeted everyone, worked fast, but tried to make sure each person was attended to. Definitely an adorable idea brought on by the hubby, to stop by and take care of my serious peanut buttery and chocolate cravings. This Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory has a very decent, private parking lot and lots of other stores all around. It was still a snowy day in January of 2021, and we noticed that dine in was still unavailable. They had the cutest, iconic Rocky Mountain Bear blocking most of the seating area. No worries! We came here mainly to buy some chocolates and leave. We got an additional hot chocolate and a few jumbo sized peanut butter cups. The cup was thick and wide, but very hard to even bite. The service was just awkward and kind of "off." Didn't seem warm, friendly or inviting. Not sure why. The lady was simply quiet and not really explaining any of the varieties of chocolates. The hot chocolate was pretty decent, but I could've wanted some more peppermint. Overall, a very adorable shop, just not my cup chai. read more

I used to go to a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in Created Butte when I worked nearby several summers ago. Stopped in here with a friend for a nostalgic trip down chocolate lane. Nice little spot with ice cream, too. They have a good assortment of chocolate and chocolate coveted things and apples coated in various delicious candies. I had to exert some self control for sure. The ice cream selection isn't anything spectacular but there are enough flavors for everyone to get something they like. Ice cream Sucks almost as bad as the service!! Ok so I only ever leave a review if things are amazing or shockingly awful. Let's start with walking in excited for ice cream literally dancing lol only to be met by the "pretty girl" we all hated in high school acting like I'm an asshole for coming in an hour before they close because she is cleaning. No personality, did not give a FUCK about us as customers! My mom and Dad felt awkward the way she was acting. It was a 30 min car ride discussion. Went here for a little dessert after eating at a restaurant. Had almond bark and a truffle. Very good! This is in a small outlet mall. Normally outlet malls are great places for RV's, but not this one. It would be very difficult to weasle any RV into this outlet. read more

So I pulled over to this place only because of their signs saying they serve Blue Bell Ice Cream (I'm from Texas and it IS a big deal). When I went to order I asked what flavors of BB they had since I didn't see any on display and the cashier just replied "we only have Blue Bunny" knowing very well what I meant yet only saying that. I love the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, they have delicious chocolates and great Carmel apples. We went to this location on a Saturday around 6pm and there was only one girl working- so the wait was pretty long because there were a lot of people in there. That is my only reason for 4 stars in stead of 5. If there was any day to schedule more people to work- the weekend would be the time. But the girl working was very friendly, polite and moved as fast as she could for the amount of folks in there. Carmel apples were excellent! read more

This place is in a little strip with Chipotle and a sandwich place. The chocolate is the same as at all the other RMCF: delicious! It seemed smaller and darker than the store in Denver but the product is the same. The haystacks, peanut butter bucket and toffee are outstanding.
