Definitely an adorable idea brought on by the hubby, to stop by and take care of my serious peanut buttery and chocolate cravings. This Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory has a very decent, private parking lot and lots of other stores all around. It was still a snowy day in January of 2021, and we noticed that dine in was still unavailable. They had the cutest, iconic Rocky Mountain Bear blocking most of the seating area. No worries! We came here mainly to buy some chocolates and leave. We got an additional hot chocolate and a few jumbo sized peanut butter cups. The cup was thick and wide, but very hard to even bite. The service was just awkward and kind of "off." Didn't seem warm, friendly or inviting. Not sure why. The lady was simply quiet and not really explaining any of the varieties of chocolates. The hot chocolate was pretty decent, but I could've wanted some more peppermint. Overall, a very adorable shop, just not my cup chai.

Pistachio almond ice cream and a chocolate covered Twinkie. Yum!

We could've shared the artichokes with about 4 people easily! The caprese had a nice green salad along with it. Perfect for 3. I split the bolognese with someone and it was delicious, meaty and chunky. It was something I'd have again. We shared carrot cake and it was enough for 2, but not that big. To start with the good - the brussels sprouts were crispy and flavorful (recommend!) and the kids menu was reasonably priced with good options. The pasta main was also solid, not exceptional but definitely tasty. Our server was absolutely lovely, she was the highlight of the visit! Unfortunately, we ordered the fish special which was halibut and noted that was a little mushy on one side (sadly towards the end of the meal). We stopped eating at that point, but alas, too late. The individuals who ate the halibut became profoundly ill overnight (with what was most certainly food poisoning based on the timing and duration), while the rest of our party who did not have the fish was just fine. The rest of the day was completely zero risk food, which left no other true culprits. We tried to reach out by phone and email without so much as any acknowledgement. Unfortunate across the board.

My husband decided that the pecan roll looked "good," and decided to try it. It was terrible. It was like chewing on rope. As another reviewer said, "this is the worst cinnamon roll I've had in my life." We totally agree. We had hoped that our previous feedback about not letting the dough rise properly might convince them to adjust their recipe, but it didn't. The roll was dense and flavorless. Part of making a yeast bread is letting the dough rise rise and letting the flavor develop. They don't do that. Previous direct feedback was met with pushback, so I'll give it here instead. This was our last time to visit Blue Moon. We'll go get a proper cinnamon roll at Butterhorn or Enza's. I'm so sorry to give this feedback again, but they just don't care. We try to support small businesses here as we live here full time, but they've lost our business for good. And the sad thing is that this single situation has turned us off of anything Blue Moon offers, so we've never even tried anything else. Others have said they like it, but since the cinnamon rolls are so bad, we've don't even come in for anything else.

There was no chili, no pork, nothing -- just basic mac and cheese that tasted like it came straight out of a box. My friend ordered a burger that was supposed to come with lettuce, blue cheese, and the works. Instead, it arrived with just chicken and bread. That was it. No toppings at all. The water we were given was also incredibly dirty -- it literally looked grey. Service somehow managed to be both overwhelming and nonexistent. While we were eating, the waiter came back to the table every couple of seconds so we couldn't even have a conversation. But when we were actually ready for the check, suddenly there was no waiter anywhere and we fwaited about 15 minutes. On top of that, every request got mixed up. I asked for blue cheese and after about 10 minutes the waiter came back with ranch. Then I asked for lemon vinaigrette (which the meal was supposed to come with) and instead got honey mustard. After explaining again, she came back with... even more honey mustard. We also paid $10 for fries with green chili and received about 15 fries. And one more thing when paying they did NOT bring my card back for about 20 minutes. It was also extremely dark where we were sitting all of the surrounding lights were off but everywhere else in the resteraunt was perfectly fine Overall the food quality, service, and attention to orders were extremely disappointing. Definitely not an experience I'd repeat don't waste your money here.

Best brunch I had in Frisco…read more Butterhorn Bakery and Cafe is the highest-rated brunch spot in Frisco, and based on my experience, I'd agree with the hype. Of the couple of brunch spots I tried in town, this was my favorite. I ordered the Cornucopia with eggs over medium and substituted the home fries for fruit. The fruit was surprisingly good, strawberries, blueberries, and bananas with a light sprinkle of powdered sugar. A side of fruit can be pretty hit or miss when you substitute it at brunch, so I was pleasantly surprised. The eggs were cooked right, and the toast was fine. I opted for turkey bacon, though, and I'd recommend skipping it. It was pretty crispy and lacked much flavor. The standout was the cinnamon roll French toast. We ordered it to share with the table, and I highly recommend doing the same. It comes with two large cinnamon rolls that are soaked in egg batter and grilled French-toast style. It was top tier. I noticed several tables around us sharing the regular cinnamon roll as well, and those looked fantastic too. They also have a bakery counter inside with plenty of grab-and-go options. The pastries all looked great, along with fresh bread, cookies, and other sweet treats. If you're visiting Frisco and looking for brunch, Butterhorn is definitely worth a stop. And whatever you order, I'd make sure the cinnamon roll French toast makes it onto your table.

We entered through the patio entrance, found a table right away, and our server quickly brought us water. She also pointed out that water bowls and fresh water were available for our pup, which was a thoughtful touch. I ordered one of the house specialties, the Chilled Tuna & Salmon Poke Bowl ($24), and I'm so glad I did. Every bite was fresh and delicious. It had just the right amount of spice--enough to add flavor without being overwhelming. My husband ordered the Summit Mushroom Burger($20), and after stealing a few bites, I can confirm it was excellent as well. The fries were exactly how I like them: crispy on the outside, fluffy and tender on the inside. Great food, attentive service, and a dog-friendly patio made this a wonderful lunch stop.

The building is a bit of a mess but we will hold our judgement for the service and food. It appears that two people are running the entire business. HUSTLERS. The cauliflower was crispy, well flavored, and a good taste. We shared the Summit mushroom burgers with goat cheese, wild mushrooms, spicy pepper jelly and roasted garlic aioli. The burger was delicious, juicy and a real treat. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff was helpful, engaging and working hard to service the crowd. Eclectric Bar and Grill is not fancy, but a solid option in the burger scene. Give them a chance and judge them for yourself.
