If you order an artisan pizza, take a good look at the menu where it says "Even thinner crust." You've been warned. The postal service may be filing in court to stop them from selling flavored stamps. We ordered a margarita kalamata to go. Twenty bucs and left a $3 tip which would have covered the ingredients for 2 of these pizzas. When I grabbed the box, I thought it was empty and quickly checked it out front to see if there was anything in it. There was, but a 10 inch diameter ritz cracker with 2 cut up olives and a few nickle-sized dollops of cheese don't weigh all that much. There were a few leaves and some drizzled goo on it but that doesn't add a lot of mass. You may have seen labels that say, "Feeds 2-3 people" but the label for this could be used to teach fractions..."Feeds 1/4 to 1/3 people." Taste-wise? Not sure there was enough to taste. Some dough hammered from 3 to 2 dimensions with an ounce or so of ingredients and god-knows what artfully squirted from restaurant ketchup squirters filled with barbecue sauce, salad dressing and good knows what - but what pretty, artisinal swirls! If you're contemplating a crash diet and live near one of these locations, I suggest 3 of these a day. The pounds will quickly disappear. read more

My review pretty much echoes a review someone had written earlier. The food was not very good? The place was very hot and the tables are extremely squished when we went in early September. My husband and I ordered a passionfruit mango cider and a fig brie and bison flatbread to share. Waitress says uhh they are only a one person serving, and we tell her we are food hopping to try out more places here. She seemed quite disappointed and was a bit cold/nearly borderline rude for the rest of the visit. The food also took at least 30 minutes to come out. The canned cider was ok, couldn't taste the fruit much at all. And the pizza unfortunately didn't taste like anything really. Didn't taste the brie, and where was the fig? And the bison was sort of like dried prosciutto but thicker and was tasteless. For some reason the hostess came by instead of the waitress, and when she served our food she offered a chili oil which had no spice. The only thing that saved our meal was the bottled hot bbq sauce from a different company. Overall, for a hot setting, poor service, and bland tasting food (based on the 1 flatbread we got) our $30 "meal" was a disappointment. read more

The current Yelp rating does not match my experience. In fact I'm wondering if there's something inflating Canmore Yelp ratings in general. This is based on 1 visit: Pros: Open air seating, even indoors, which reduces COVID risk. Cons: On a hot day it's really hot. It's super noisy inside. The food (we tried 1 app, 1 salad, 3 flatbread pizzas) is unremarkable. The best thing I can say is the apple chicken pizza is "pretty good". My five star review is based on the food and service. I do have to say during my visit to Alberta I came here twice with my husband but we did order the same thing twice! We had the pizza with shrimp and pesto (don't recall the name) and the salad with fig and goat cheese which were both great! The second visit we made we arrived five minutes before closing and they still took us which was unexpected and nice of them. The employees are hard working college kids or young adults. They also serve beer and interesting cocktails using local liquor and ingredients which is a nice touch. However since this spot is insanely popular it's a long wait to get a table and the service is very slow as well once you get seated. Service here is friendly, prompt & well-informed. They get a 5. The soup of the day was very good & not too spicy for me who can be sensitive to spice. I loved that it came with a piece of flat bread to dip in it which was excellent. We both found the crusts on the flat bread pizzas a bit too dry. Toppings went well together for the most part. Stealing the cherry tomatoes from my husband's Genoa was an excellent addition to my Parm, one I think they should consider offering. It took the flavor over the top from how it had been served. The amount of toppings was good. I would probably give the flat breads 3.5 but, that's a personal preference. I might also try the sauces they offer the next time we come. Great place to get fresh pizza! We had went at an 'off' time around 4ish and there was still about a 45 min wait. Had great reviews in the main center of Canmore so decided to try it out on our one day we visited. Glad we did! We got a flatbread pizza that allowed for "half and half" of two different topping options. We got the apple chicken and genoa salami pizza. It was enough for two people. Pizza came out fresh and everything was delicious! If you happen to be there for the holidays, they made a really good hot apple cider. Full of flavor and the crust is not too thick. Great for sharing! Had to show vaccination card per Alberta's new guidelines, were asked if we wanted a paper menu to which I said yes, and then we were seated. I asked for the popular flatbreads, and we ended up getting parma and farmers market. I thought parma didn't have much flavor even though there was prosciutto on it, and I really liked farmers market because of the pesto. It was also a nice blend of veggies - beets which I normally don't like but worked surprisingly well, carrots, green leafy veggies, asparagus or green beans (not sure), and probably some other veggies I forgot about. It also stayed hotter for longer which I thought was interesting. I did really enjoy the spicy sauce at the table though, had a chipotle roasted flavor, so good! Prices were alright, came out to be around C$43 post-tax. One thing I noticed is that when they gave us the machine to insert a credit card, the waitress set the machine in the right dab middle of the table - didn't assume that my friend, who's a male (and I'm female), would pay the tab. Our waitress could have been more attentive, as we did have to wait awhile to get our order and then later to pay our check. Those that ordered the macaroni and cheese were very happy. Pizza was okay. Nothing great, but good. The gluten-free pizza was inedible. The crust was obviously frozen, and it was still cold in the middle when it arrived at the table. Good gluten-free pizza is hard to find, but most places do a decent job with it. Not so here. The beer wasn't very good, and the Grizzly Paw sodas were flat--so that was disappointing on a hot day. The glasses also smelled like they'd been dried with a mildewy rag. This place is pricey. Very interesting flavors of flatbread or pizza, however you look at it. It was the best dining during our stay in Canmore/Banff. Unfortunately it took an hour for the food to arrive to our tables. It was very busy and the waitress said there was backup (I forget the reason but might've had something to do with the wood burning oven). After we inquired about our food, the waitress was kind enough to offer a free salad on the house, and even though that also took another 20 minutes to arrive, it was a delicious fig and goat cheese salad. Once our apple chicken and elk fig flatbreads arrived, we devoured it. The crust was soft and doughy. The apple chicken turned out to be my preferred with the pesto giving it a unique flavor. We tried this place for lunch after we did a caving tour at Rat's Nest Cave in Canmore. Our caving tour guide recommended this place to us and he did not disappoint! This place is very hip and has lots of trendy pizzas with things like arugula, goat cheese, etc. as toppings. I had one of their flatbread pizzas and though it was really delicious. I must have been extra hungry after my caving tour bc I ate one whole pizza myself! I also thought it was cool how they had garage door type things on all their walls which slid open, converting the whole restaurant to a sort of outdoor/indoor space. Delicious! Right in the heart of Canmore and we enjoyed our meal quite a bit. This place was PACKED on a Saturday night but we put our name in and only had a 15 minute wait before we were seated.
