I stopped in because of the perfect reviews and the pictures posted here. They had the smoked Tri Tip today and it was one of the best sandwiches I have had in a while. The Tri Tip had a good smoke flavor and was shaved very thin. The pepper relish really went well with it too. The banana pudding was a bonus afterwards. We absolutely love this place! We eat here 1-2 times a week. My husband literally just said "This is the best sub in Tampa", and we've lived here almost 10 years. The meats are smoked and delicious! Our favorites are pastrami, tri tip and the roast beef and cheddar. They also don't skimp on the meat. Which is always a bonus! It's also owned by the sweetest couple ever. I've been wanting to try RMS for a while now, and finally had the chance. It's a smaller no frills sub shop, but impeccably clean compared to other places trying to achieve the same thing. The shop is owned and run by a friendly couple that relocated here from Colorado. I chose to go with the Tri-tip sandwich which was loaded with thin sliced hot cherrywood smoked tri-tip, cheddar cheese, horse radish, lettuce, onion, tomato, parmesan cheese, and a house type dressing. The roll was warm and soft. It's amazing at how many places get sandwiches wrong, but RMS crushes it. I'm definitely looking forward to everything else on the menu. The meatballs looked amazing, as well as their Rib Eye cheese steak, and they have a home made pastrami that sounded to die for as well. Don't be disappointed at them being closed Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. It's worth the wait. I asked the owners about it and their response was perfect. They "work to live, not live to work." We stopped here on a weekday afternoon to pick up a sandwich carry out. We were on our way to the beach and didn't want yet another Subway. The place is new, so the sign is difficult to see, decor inside a little sparse. The owner proudly explained the homemade ingredients used on their sandwich choices. Found this place last week when I was looking for a new place to eat. They have some good subs and I will defiantly be going back. It's ran by a couple and they take pride in their work. We came at closing and they didn't have enough meat for the specialty sandwich we wanted, but we got something else that tasted great and they just gave us the extra meat from the sub we originally wanted. These guys have it figured out! Mrs.and I visited for lunch because of the positive reviews of others. They put a lot of effort into producing the best sandwiches we've had in recent memory. They smoke their own meats and have daily specials in addition to 'standard' offerings. I had the special triple (beef) tips sub with horseradish sauce and it was phenomenal. Their bread is custom made and delivered daily..crusty with a sweet/sourdough flavor. Tried their custom slaw too and was very pleased. Part of the reason we went is because they have a very well done website, so we could ponder what we might like beforehand. Very nice people who really are 'refugees' from the Colorado Rockies who tired of winter. I'd recommend that anyone give them a try. Hands down the best submarine shop I've ever been too. The sub roll they use is so fresh and perfect. Their meats are made in house and of the highest quality. And all their sauces are homemade and delicious, especially the white BBQ (Bama sauce). They deserve 6 stars for their service. read more

Also got something called Bama slaw, being from Alabama, I had to try it. Slaw tasted like coke slaw but a little different, it has white BBQ for favoring, I must say about the roast sub, it is very tender & easy to eat, not to much chewing, very soft texture. Very clean place! Good music in the back ground, something different like Rock but not hard rock. Thank god for a tasty and cute ma and pa sub shop in the area! Subs/hoagies/sandwiches/whatever you want to call them are one of my favorite foods and unfortunately tend to be either huge franchises or run down looking joints from the early 90s here. Really nice to have a quality looking sub shop with very tasty subs in palm harbor. If only there were some options for spicy toppings, like jalapeños or hot sauce then this place would be perfect for me! read more

Really pleased with my decision to drop in and give this new place a try. Upon walking through the door, I was warmly greeted by one of the owners, who explained different menu options. I went with the Roast Beef and Cheddar with a side of coleslaw. BEST SANDWICH!! True fluffy bread was lightly toasted, the beef portion generous, the tomato fresh and ripe, the horseradish sauce zippy and the cheese perfect. Almost nervous to write anything negative after reading through all reviews. I almost felt peer pressured by the owner to order the BBQ brisket sub basically saying, "YOLO everyone loves it." Had the peppers on the side per their recommendation but when I asked what type of peppers the owners would not give me any info as it's a "secret recipe". They could have simply said a mixture of peppers but I like to know what's in my food. I am happy they recommended on the side as they were decent but the flavor took away from the flavor of the sub. The sub was good except I didn't taste a BBQ flavor but not too familiar with white BBQ. Not sure I can justify the price we paid for 4 sub sandwiches and drinks with a couple of sides. I was in shock paying almost $60 at the counter with a tip. The service was very fast and the glass soda options were fun for our family and a more environmental option for the day. The banana pudding was good but more of a banana mousse pudding. I liked the Nilla wafer at the bottom of the cup but portion was kinda small. Not sure how much it was as I didn't receive a receipt and not sure if prices are listed on the menus. I could give 4 stars if I didn't have some of these first time customer concerns and would have stuck to my preferred diet plan. I will return but will be more mindful about what I order to reduce the cost. Overall it was fun for our family. read more

I had a Tri-tip sub and loved it, outstanding flavor with just the right amount of spice. My wife got a French dip which she always loves. My daughter had a meatball sub and kept saying the meatballs tasted great, she is a very picky eater. All were excellent. Also tried the beer cheese soup which had a great flavor.
