What Que sorcery is this? I heard about this gem from a fellow foodie. Open every other Saturday on Alt 19 in Dunedin. It's a family operation. I think they do this out of love for the bbq but it's not their primary job/business hence the every other Saturday. We tried almost everything: Brisket (we got the last serving), Fall off the bone ribs, Pulled Pork, Spicy sausage (they offer mild as well but I think it had just the right amount of heat) and last but not least Pastrami. Everything was absolutely delicious! Perfect amount of smoke, great bark moist and tender. The pastrami was quite zesty which we loved. All the sides were great too. Their daughter makes a mean Mac & cheese, baked beans well balanced tang with sweet, crunchy Cole slaw and collard greens with bits of that yummy chopped brisket. Next time I'll try the pecan or sweet potato pie as they looked phenomenal and she said it is her grandma's crust recipe. Get there when they open if you can since they are so popular it runs out quickly. Cash only and worth every penny. Love how their passion for good bbq shines through and that he even built his own smoker from watching how to videos on YouTube. Mark your calendar and enjoy. PS Wish I had taken pictures of the food but my family and I had eaten it all before I thought about it

Some of the best bbq. You need to get there earlier for ribs! Still we had sausage, brisket, and pulled pork. It was all amazing.

None of them have a brisket that can compare to Texas BBQ like Patmon's!

I got the 2 meat combo, pulled pork & brisket with collards and baked beans. My wife got 4 rib bones with slaw and mac & cheese. The meats were perfect with a very good smoke taste and very tender. All four sides were classic BBQ house offerings and complimented the meat perfectly. Each dinner came with a large slice of Texas toast. We tried three of their house sauces, Texas hot, Kansas City sweet, and the Carolina mustard based sauce. All were very good; but, we used them sparingly to let the flavor of the meat come through. The few inside tables were clean and comfortable and the guys working made sure we had everything we needed. When it warms up we will use the outside tables. We will definitely be back on a Friday to try the burnt ends and Saturday for the beef ribs.

To explain, I never leave a tip at the beginning of the meal, as one doesn't know how good the food and service will be. During my meal, this young lady was talking to another employee, and every few seconds she would quickly glance over to me while chatting with her co-worker. And as I have excellent hearing, she was complaining about not receiving a tip, and someone really should tell her to not talk about the customers- and look directly at them while doing so. So after I had finished I just left, LEAVING NO TIP! While the food was tasty, and the price reasonable for the brisket dinner, still, I would never return, no matter how good the food was.

It has a pretty amazing bakery section when you walk through the back door to enter the restaurant. I was starving and picked the biggest thing on the menu which is the smokehouse platter and you get a ton of food with this platter (Brisket, pulled pork, quarter rack of ribs all served with coleslaw, Texas toast & side of fries.) I thought the price was absolutely amazing because you get all the food for $28.95. Needless to say as starved as I was, I couldn't even finish the whole meal. Our server was Scott and he was pretty amazing and he was training a new hire and I'm sorry but I can't remember her name but she was equally great and explained the menu really well. It's really a bonus that they stay open till 11 PM Thursday through Saturday. So anything you get that is from the BBQ...they bring out this 4 pack of house sauce. I tried each of them and all were great and had their own unique taste. Chipotle White, PD BBQ, Korean BBQ, Carolina BBQ. The Korean BBQ was definitely my favorite. The chipotle white is kind of almost like a mayonnaise in my opinion. The inside while definitely fresh and clean looking...it does have a sort of rustic, actual prohibition older type feel. Would absolutely come back when in town again. Great overall experience here

Cocktails were okay - priced well but taste was meh. Id stick to beers here next time. Food was decent - I got the burger which was really good. The rest of the table got brunch and everyone was happy w their food. Food was priced fair. Xavier was our server and he was very good, sweet kid and attentive. Lots of parking and reservations made over the phone. Would come back but not rushing too.

The location is a block back from Main Street and it's a cool little spot. We have had the same waiter as we did when this was coastal cantina and when we ate at southern fresh. Same owner I believe. He is the only waiter I remember having more than twice on Main Street which is really cool. I give props to the owners for this. The food is really good. The location is great. I gave it 4 stars out of 5 because they really need to add a few items. Like pulled chicken, Mac and cheese and Cole slaw. Also 4 potato wedges as a side is kinda ridiculous. Aside from that, all good. It's nice to have smoked meat back in the harbor.
