I went January 4. My wife's chicken pot pie was very good. I had the perch it was average. Nothing wrong with it but I have better!! Had excellent service it was pretty dead though on a Thursday night!! Came back for my moms birthday party was a large group of about 20. I will say the service was excellent didn't catch the lady's name but she did a great job. We had the bacon jam appetizer that was really very good. I had the triple xxx ribs they were fall off the bone I would recommend them. As far as I know everyone liked their meal would go back. read more

Updated 9/21/2018 from my previous review. Rocky River has come down in the world. Sadly, I've seen this happen to most Michiana restaurants: they arrive with bold flavors and ideas, and gradually adjust to the blandness of the locale in order to survive. Long story short, it's not bad, but it's not great. The menu has been reduced. The amazing olive/almond appetizer is gone, as is the honeycrisp salad. Yes, menus at a farm to table restaurant should rotate with the seasons, but there was little that was exceptionally seasonal at our last visit. Whitefish picatta was an interesting idea, executed well enough. But nothing memorable. Pot pie was a decent pot pie (with proper pie crust, not puff!) Wine and beer selection is still good. Service outstanding. But there's nothing to distinguish Rocky River anymore. And that's a loss for the Granger gustatory community. read more

With many restaurants to choose from in the Mishawaka area we are really glad we chose to have dinner at Rocky River Tap & Table. My husband had a couple craft beers and the pulled pork Mac-n-cheese . Both were excellent. I had a Michelob Ultra & the nachos with pulled pork. I asked for the additional bbq sauce on the side instead of poured on it as described & that was a good choice as the pork had plenty of sauce on it already. It was excellent. Great service & ambiance. We will definitely stop again on future trips through town. read more

We visited here from out of town and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious! We got the Spinach and Artichoke dip and the Buffalo Cauliflower for appetizers. Amazing. We split the Wagyu Burger which was cooked to perfection and we even got to split the fries (half regular half sweet potato) which was really nice. They had live music and the man playing was so good! Very nice atmosphere. Very warm and cozy. Now our waitress, Shawna, was absolutely amazing. It was so busy that night and she was on top of every single table. I don't know how she did it! She's a superhero! She made my cosmo to perfection and was so nice, personable and accommodating. We stopped here for a quick dinner before a show, with limited time. The server was very respectful of our need to hurry things along a little, which we greatly appreciated, although delivery from the kitchen was a bit slow. We did end up making our show, and everything was fine, but things were a little tense until the food arrived. The cheddar and bacon grilled cheese was great -- I love a grown-up grilled cheese, and the farmhouse bread was perfect. The others had burgers, and they said they were as good as they looked (which was pretty wonderful)! There's a great selection of craft beers, which the three guys I was with enjoyed, and my Makers Mark Manhattan was well made (many restaurants don't get the whiskey to vermouth balance right). We didn't have time for full entrees or dessert, but I'm already planning to go back and try the Bacon Mac N Brats next time I'm in town. read more

Over priced bland food. This place has huge potential but the portions are very small for the price given that everything tastes like it came from a nursing home. They have some cool dishes that sound really good so we were excited to try this place while in town. Completely disappointed. No taste to the food. This is a farm to fork establishment in Granger, Indiana located in a great area with several dining options. The service was fantastic, my server Adam recommended the grilled shrimp salad with sweet chili sauce. He was spot on as it was delicious. I would order this again. The salad had red peppers and mango with just enough dressing. I had a kolsch beer on tap from the Round Barn, which is a local brewery in Michigan, just across the state line. Great atmosphere, when the weather is nice it looks like they could have an awesome outdoor seating area. I will definitely return soon. read more

Our server was very nice but everything from the kitchen was underwhelming. Ceviche special has little flavor and wasn't topped with the sesame as the menu described. Baked Brie is more bacon Jam with not much cheese and also doesn't come as a whole but in a boat. Prime burger was good but undercooked. The impossible burger said it came with roasted tomato and avocado..cold slice of tomato and no avocado. Beet salad was decent but they were a bit over cooked and I'm not sure why they're listed under greens because there's no greens. Might come back to try brunch. read more

Best part about our experience here was the atmosphere. The bar has a really cool large window that opens, so you feel like you're outdoors while still being inside. Service was okay, but it felt a little like we were interrupting conversations between employees that were taking place around us. Food was overpriced and lacked flavor. Simplifying the menu and offering a little more food for the money would be an improvement. Not sure how this place stays in business with so many other good food options in the area. read more

First the good. Local beer selection on tap was awesome. The beer tasted like they take care of their equipment no weird musty taste or funny smelling glasses. Our bartender was friendly and did a good job. I went there on a Monday it was a little bit slow and she was not only taking care of the bar but taking care of all the high tops around the bar. Sometimes when I looked for her she was busy doing other things but no fault of her own. Maybe I'm old-fashioned but I like someone stationed behind the bar....Tending the bar. This place comes across giving the impression that is a farm to table restaurant. If it is the meal choices should give some back up as to the source of the ingredients. Now the food I had the chicken pot pie which was average at best it was edible but tasted like corn starch the chicken was a little bit mushy. The food is really good, I enjoy that they have live music I haven't found many other places around this area that do that. Only disappointment is that they took off their roasted cauliflower with goat cheese appetizer, which was the reason we wanted to come back again. This place is great! Lots of options that cater to different types of patrons. Our waitress, Lili, was super friendly, patient and offered great service. The food was delicious. You can tell thought and care go into each dish. Even our son's dish from the kids menu was prepared well. They have a board which lists where their ingredients are sourced from, that we found refreshing to see. The wine and beer choices are abundant and include regional options. The best part of this place was the extensive beer tap selection. That being said, Mishawaka has a lot of good options when it comes to craft beer. I had the Rocky River burger, medium. It was pink inside, but very tough. It was perfectly round like a GHS type burger and tasted like it. The fries were soft and mushy. If this place is still here in six months as is, I'll be shocked. Good food, good service, nice vibe. The Rocky River Tap and Table is straight up solid. Their big claim to fame is that all of their ingredients are locally grown, which is awesome. When I went there, my friend, Mackenzie, and I split the spinach artichoke dip, which as everyone else has said is AMAZING. We also each had the vanilla java porter, which was great, too. My slight disappointment came with my main course, the pan seared vegetables with quinoa. The menu said "garden vegetables" would be included. What does that mean? I didn't know, and the waitress didn't know. I ordered it anyway. Apparently garden vegetables means mostly onions and tomatoes, because that's what I got served. Throw a couple zucchini here and there. Don't get me wrong, I like onions and tomatoes but as a $15 dish? Not unless they're made brilliantly, which they were not. They were bland. I ended up dumping half the salt shaker into my plate. Mackenzie did seem to enjoy her grilled cheese, though. As for the atmosphere, this place is a mix between sports bar and restaurant. There were TVs on the walls, but they were not distracting. The tables were nicely made and everything seemed new and clean. Overall, I would return because the service was great, some of the food was good, and the vibe is nice. read more
