Go here. Go here. Go here. There's so much to like about this experience. Even on a Saturday night waiting to ride, strangers were singing together while the Backstreet Boys and Neil Diamond were playing on the speakers. For the coaster itself, it is a lot of fun. I recommend buying the two pass and trying once during the day and once at night. There are other mountain coasters but this one is clearly the best.

Fun, safe for all of the family and its well organized! It was my first time riding something like this. We seen it advertised everywhere. I came with my boyfriends family, his siblings and their kids. When we parked there was a bit of a line. However, the line moved fairly quick. You buy your ticket, stand in line... and the ushers secure you onto one of the coasters. It's great for all ages! If your kid is small, you can ride with your kid. The views were nice and some parts went really fast! I'd definitely go again! The total ride down the mountain is pretty lengthy. I should've wrote my review earlier because the guy told me how long it takes to ride down the mountain.... approximately 10 minutes? Correct me if I'm wrong. But it's a nice ride down. Don't forget to smile when the signs say to smile because they take photos of you along the ride. At the end of the ride, you enter the gift shop where you can see all your photos. The photos were the normal expensive tourist price, but it's worth capturing the moment :) Definitely a "must-do" when visiting Pigeon Forge!

So much fun! Lots in the area but this is by far the best !!long and fast! Worth the money

A great dad joke for father's day.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. The first night we went it rained and we got this cool see through cover and then there was lightning so the 4 remaining riders in our party couldn't go. The manager gave us all more tickets to come back another day and when we returned two days later, they gave us each and extra ride and because it was father's day the two dad's in our party got free photos. Not to mention my husband and I agree it's the best mountain coaster we've ever been on. Even the line was fun because they played tunes and everyone was singing.

Always wanted to try a mountain coaster ever since I saw one. Finally got to on my recent vacation in the area. My brother suggested this place out of all the ones we looked up and it was amazing. Your recorded the whole time and can buy the video or just a pic at the end.

First-Time Riders - Great Experience! This was our first time on a mountain roller coaster and it did not disappoint! The ride is smooth, fun, and you get to control your own speed, which makes it great for both thrill-seekers and those who want to take it slow. There are several automatic uphill pull sections, and the rest is all you - twisting, turning, and flying through the woods with some cute little set-ups along the way. Not a lot of "mountains views" noted. You do need to pay attention to the slow signs throughout the track Tips: * If you're a first responder, nurse, or teacher, don't miss the discount - rides are only $9 for you (I unfortunately missed mine ). That's also the cost if you want to re-ride the same day! Overall, a must-do experience if you're in the area!

Well it was a 4th of July birthday weekend and a co worker recommended trying this alpine roller coaster. There are many of them in Pigeon Forge Tennessee but he told me this one was the best because it's longer for 20 minutes. They are not your usual amusement park roller coasters because once you reach the top with cables you control the speed. It was worth the $18. Do try it as well as Dollywood

My favorite views were the uphills!

When I told people we were going on vacation to Pigeon Forge SO many people suggested that we do a mountain coaster, and boy am I glad that we picked this one!! It is advertised as the longest mountain coaster in TN and that is one of the reasons we picked it. It is also located right down the street from Dollywood, which is super convenient. The views were amazing and the track was so much fun. It included 4 uphills and 4 downhills and you really pick up some great speed on the downhills! They have audio playing at the top of the hills that tells you when to push your handles down to begin to pick up speed. We had such a fun time on our ride that we paid $9 each to go on the coaster a second time. Each sled has a maximum weight of 350 pounds, but we elected to each have our own sled and I really am glad we did. This was one of our favorite things that we did on our vacation!! It will be a must do when we come back to Pigeon Forge.

We went here and my kids and husband LOOOVED it ! I'm afraid of heights so it was a no for me but I wanted to go soooo bad after my family did. All they talked about was how fun it was. We went during December so it was pretty cold but they managed. Rode this a couple of times and was better experience than Dollywood.

This was pretty decent. I would give it 3.5 stars, rounding up to 4. We came here wanting to ride an Alpine coaster after being sorely disappointed at Oberlin Gatlinburg. We had wasted so much time at Oberlin that it got pretty late at that point, so we were grateful for the late closing time. I think the move is coming at night, it's fun the way it's lit up. It was Labor Day Weekend though and it was CROWDED with a super, super long line. Thank goodness for the ceiling fans in the waiting area, but they could use some more. Also thank goodness for the very fun and lively playlist going on, keeping everyone's morale up. Also shoutout to the safety videos playing, there was a lot of legitimately useful and helpful information conveyed there. When it was finally our turn, we got in our carts of either one or two riders. I ended up using the brakes in my cart quite a bit. The safety video said you could pretty much go as fast as you want (so long as you don't bump into the person in front of you), but I very much did not feel safe and like the cart was going to stay on the rails at full speed. I left a little shaken up after the ride. Overall, good experience. Would likely come back, hopefully with a shorter line.

Fun Coaster For Kids! This is one of the coasters that let our 36" tall kids ride. It's a great time for the little ones. We rode 3-4 times because my 3 year old son was a little scared the first ride but then was so happy and wanted to do it again and again! For adults it's a cool ride too, obviously not six flags level or an insane ride of terror, but a cool ride. Friendly staff and fun ride.

I came here to see my friend's memorial bench- and definitely brought the tears. I didn't realize they would have the pics on the board on the side and then the beach was beautiful. She always loved rocky top coaster mountain, riding it made me feel close to her. It was really fun, long, and well worth the price. I am so grateful to have something to visit and i will definitely visit every time i come! Sending love from Ohio

Was a good time. Really didn't have to wait in lines. One down side is that it was a little pricey if you have more than one person.

To say we were excited about our trip to Dollywood is an understatement. I am a single mom of four…read morewho doesn't often get to take vacations. I'm also a cancer patient who doesn't know how many vacations that she has left in this lifetime. So, when someone offered us a chance to take this trip, we were over the moon and jumped at the chance. So writing this review is quite painful. I've always heard that Dollywood employees are the best so I was expecting kindness and helpfulness, but I was mostly disappointed. I want to start this review by saying that I could not do what the employees at Dollywood do all day in the blistering heat. They have to deal with people all day long and people can be unpleasant on a good day and vicious on a bad day. I deal with people in my job and it can be difficult. I know and I sympathize. It started when I had to rent a mobility scooter. Trust me, I hated having to rent that blasted thing, but I had a cancer treatment two days before our visit and my treatment can zap the energy right out of me. So, I went to rent a scooter even though I was embarrassed to have to do so. The young lady behind the counter was unfriendly and unprofessional. I was surprised really by her complete lack of kindness. She never once even cracked a smile and her behavior at my questions was rude. I was also disappointed at the employees lack of help when you asked for directions. We only had a day in the park and we had some specific things that we wanted to accomplish. When asked for directions, the employees were short with me and seemed annoyed that we even asked. I ceased asking employees and began asking other park goers. They were kind and helpful. Then there was the candy store near the train depot. The gentleman behind the candy counter was amazing. He was friendly and encouraging. Just when I thought we wouldn't find any employees up to park standards, he showed up and with his sunny disposition really brought a bright spot to our day. Then, my hopes were instantly dissolved when we checked out at the register. The female employee at the register was utterly rude and blatantly disrespectful. I was shocked and wanted to match her energy, but I didn't want to set a bad example for my kids. Also, the kindly gentleman was right next to her and I just didn't want to cause a scene. Also, the employees who deal with people with disabilities on the rides just treated us like we were an imposition. That's just not the way you treat people who are already struggling. Most people who have a disability would do anything to be normal. I know I would have loved to have not known this information about the employees who help people with disabilities. I believe some sensitivity training is in order for all the employees who come in contact with people with disabilities. We already feel like a burden and we HATE it. There were some employees that went above and beyond which is the reason I didn't give a one star review. I've already spoken of the gentleman at the candy store. He needs a raise. There was the sweet young man in the jewelry booth by the Mystery Mine ride. He was an absolute gem and was so helpful. There was a sweet young lady at Miss Lillian's where we ate. Two of my kiddos have severe food allergies. It makes it difficult to find food that won't land us in the ER. This young lady went out of her way to make sure that our food wasn't contaminated by allergens and she even found chips for my son who couldn't have the other side dishes. Bravo to her!!! She deserves a gold star, a crown, and a wand. Also the tram conductors were fabulous They were funny, kind, and helpful. Whoever trained those guys needs to train EVERYONE in the park. The employees involved in the Dollywood Express were another standout. They were kind, hilarious, entertaining, and really did help to make the day memorable especially for my son who has a popular YouTube channel about trains. It wasn't all bad, but there were enough disappointments to prompt me to write this review. I really hated writing something negative. I absolutely adore Dolly Parton. She is one of my heroes. I feel terrible for saying anything negative about something associated with her. I'm hoping this review will encourage some additional training for employees who deal with people with disabilities. Those people sitting in the mobility scooters could be on their last vacation and you could make all the difference.
