I had Rocky's last night for the first time. I had a big order so I called ahead and spoke to Connie. Food was ready at 6 just like we discussed. The food was fantastic. I lived in North Carolina for a few years and Rocky's is as good as any I had down there. Not only were the meats perfect but the sides were delicious. Order the corn bread, beans and slaw. I agree with you Michael P., Lancaster, Pa, perfectly cooked ribs should be tender but also something you can sink your teeth into, not falling off the bone. Personally, I think the Mac & Cheese is the real deal. If you can't stand a fork up in it, it's just that stuff that kids like. As a transplant from Alabama, I can honestly say that Rocky's beats out Big Bob Gibson, Dreamland, Bob Sykes's and Jim 'N Nick's, hands down. The burnt ends were tender and tasty, but I was really expecting the charred pieces from the very top part of the untrimmed rack, with the skirt attached - just saying. Rocky's is new to us and we're looking forward to trying everything on the menu, especially the collard greens. P.S. The pickles are fantastic! read more

Definitely the best BBQ in the area and maybe Pennsylvania, ribs are by far the best I've ever had and they are not slathered in sauce or sweet rubs, lightly seasoned and smoked to perfection!!! Chicken leg quarters are also a must, super moist and crisp and just the right amount of smoke. Pulled pork is good too but I find that to be the same no matter who does it, it's a simple cut to get right. The brisket I'm sure I would love if I had it from the smoker but I guess they have to keep it warm and moist by keeping it in a warming oven in broth or something and it's just not my thing. They also make these awesome fresh cucumber pickles that are incredible. The other sides that I've had didn't really do anything for me. read more

Located in Columbia, PA across from Burning Bridge Antiques. Stopped on Thursday, February 22nd. Burnt ends were very good. Only improvement would be to crisp longer with the sauce to get that "burnt" edge. Still, they were very tender with excellent flavor. Corn cake was different with whole kernel corn. But, was pretty good. Pulled pork was tasty as well. Next time will try the brisket. read more

My fiance and I drove 45 minutes out of the way just to try their food out. Long story short, I had the best mac & cheese of my lfie, I had the best brisket sandwich of my life, and I also had the best pulled pork of my life. I kid you not, the brisket was unbelievably good. The mac and cheese was to die for. This is honestly the best food truck/best bbq around - PERIOD. I was super happy to find out that they'll be opening their own shop soon, which means we no longer have to drive out of our way for great BBQ. My first visit to Rocky's. I had a great experience and will definitely be back. The dry rub ribs were excellent. The brisket was awesome. I didn't care for the pork as much but that can be up and down in retail bbq. Go for the ribs and brisket, you can't go wrong. Another visit on July 7, 2018. The brisket and ribs were awesome. Can't remember having a better brisket in a bbq joint. The pork was just so-so, not real smoky and a little too sweet (before I put any sauce on it). I'll drive 30-40 miles to get to Rocky's BBQ truck ! Love the fall off the bone perfectly spiced and smoked ribs and brisket. My kids love the baked beans and Mac and cheese as well. Homemade coleslaw ... Mmmmmm yummy. Probably drove that far or farther and it's worth it!!! 5 stars every time !! read more
