It's well known the "Twisted" is our favorite place to eat and meet friends. Anthony and Joni have created a place where diners are family. The menu is diverse and amazing. Brisket, home made "Authentic Chesapeake Bay Style" Home made crab cakes, burgers, breakfast lunch or dinner with home made sides like smoked Mac and Cheese, Apple Pie Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, smoke baked Potato, hand cut fries they are the best! And the Best just got even better!! The Twisted has added "Friday Fish Fry" to the go along with the Crab Cake special! As if that was not enough they've added fried fish sandwich! It all starts with "fresh, never frozen" Haddock, hand battered to order. The fish fry includes hand cut fries, Cole slaw along with your choice of white Bar B Q sauce or Tartar. The Haddock portions are huge, sweet, fresh and delicious. The Fish sandwich is a smaller portion of the Haddock on a Brioche Bun with choice of sauce, lettuce and tomato, with fries and Cole slaw. A perfect menu just got even better!!! Easy to get to along Rt 30 in Kinzer Pa, almost across the road from the Kinzer Post Office with plenty of parking. Be sure to say hi to Anthony and Joni. Listen to their desert options which include a home made waffle sundae! A personal favorite.

Came in for breakfast on a Thursday morning. There were only a few other diners in the restaurant and my server had me seated within seconds. The staff were friendly with me and also with the regulars, chatting about family and friends, etc. I ordered the special for the day which was two eggs, home fries, a grilled muffin, and bacon. It came with an orange juice, as well. I chose the cranberry orange muffin and I'm not lying when I say it was amazing. Grilling the muffin added a little more texture and the warmth was A+. The bacon was perfectly crispy. The eggs and home fries were as expected. They had several types of hot sauce to choose from, which I appreciated. The restaurant itself is much larger than it looks from the outside. They have a variety of seating options available and tons of interesting vintage decor. They have two single bathrooms. The women's was small, but clean.

Old School kind of place. Very nice staff and good food. You'll feel right at home and probably go back again and again.

At first we weren't sure what to expect from reading the menu but let me assure you, everything is made with LOVE. Iykyk. We ended up ditching our reservations at some bougie restaurant to come back here a second time during our stay. The ambiance is cozy, clean, & minimalist. The Amish people are in a lane of their own when it comes to quality. They just nail everything across the board. Might I add that our waitress Amanda was the dearest of souls and her Bible verse attached to the receipt imprinted a memory for me and my husband for all of time.

We chose the buffet and were glad we did. While the food was generally good but not great, it has good variety and all for less than $20. Salad options were fresh and the roasted chicken adds clean protein with pretty good taste. I recommend the dinner rolls with the chicken as well. Some traditional Amish dishes were available that I didn't care for but others might. The desserts were my favorite, including the pumpkin cake and the apple crumble. If you're looking for a hearty meal at a reasonable price, this place is hard to beat. A few highlights from our visit: The buffet is the best value, offering unlimited access to a wide variety of freshly prepared dishes. Both hot and cold buffet options are available, so there's something for everyone. Dessert is included and features options like pie and soft serve ice cream. The food tasted fresh, homemade, and consistently well-stocked. We left incredibly full and satisfied. Other things worth noting: Plenty of parking available in the rear lot. Clean and well-maintained bathrooms. Friendly, attentive service throughout the meal. Despite arriving with a party of five, we were seated in about 10 minutes. Overall, Dienner's delivers exactly what you'd hope for from a Pennsylvania Dutch buffet: fresh comfort food, generous portions, great service, and excellent value. Whether you're visiting the Lancaster area or finishing up an Amish tour, it's a great place to sit down for a filling meal. I'd happily return on a future trip.
