Tried Rocky's Corner while passing through the area. Noticed all the locals were eating pizza but we ordered a sandwich and thought it was tasty. I kept looking at all the pizza rolling out of the kitchen so we went back the following night and we are glad we did. The pizza was unbelievable and unique in it's flavor. Pizza was not Chicago style (deep dish) they just rolled up some dough on crust. It was a little greasy and pepperoni was thin, but it tasted homemade and nothing from a can. It had a more cheesey sauce. But, I would go back again and try something else. Atmosphere sports bar. read more

Looking for a quick lunch stop and decided on this little spot after reading several reviews. It's right across from oaklawn so that was neat. We had "the contender", which is Canadian bacon and pineapple and ordered breaded cheese ravioli appetizer. They came out at the same time, but that was okay because it was fairly quick. It was not good service they were worried about filling the tables other than giving food to the ones they had it took over hour and a half to get our food and once we got it was not even hot and people would get there after us and leave before us it was horrible service and not good and they not nice and we even ice spilled on us and nothing happened. read more

Heard some great things about the pizza at Rocky's but never got the chance to try it. After waiting for an hour and a half for it to be delivered we called to check on our order and were told they hadn't even started to make it so we cancelled. Menu looked great. After twenty-five minutes left without ordering. Our waitress disappeared and when we asked another waitress to take our order she got in argument with our waitress. This a low-key, seat yourself kind of place. The service is lightening fast. Our pizza arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. The pizza wasn't Chicago style (not deep dish). I have eaten at Rocky's several times. The guys that I work with like it a lot and I have to agree. They have interesting selections of appetizers and really good pizza. They always make room for our group which is usually 8 to 10 guys who just want to have a good cold beer and some grub and unwind. They usually have some interesting seasonal sports on the TVs and the front section of the restaurant is separate from the bar area so families can bring kids. The wait staff is attentive but don't expect quick pizza. This is quality food and plenty of people know it so it might take an extra few minutes but it has always been worth the little bit of extra wait. Also they have a good selection of pizza choices and usually have some specials that make it a bit easier on the wallet. The decor is not pretty but it's comfortable and interesting in that divey manner that makes it easy to relax and laugh and enjoy the company of friends. Definitely worth a visit. One of our crew recommends the salads and pastas as well if you aren't a pizza person. read more

Usually, Rocky's Corner pizza is delicious with "ok" service from staff. But today, I was not happy with my visit. Service was horrible. Waitress was all over the place. Took forever to receive utensils, drinks, food, bill, etc. What should've been a decent hour-stay, turned into a two-hour catastrophe. Staff was running everywhere like chickens with their head cut off. Pizza wasn't great - wasn't hot, asked for extra sauce & received none. Not sure what the deal was today, but I know I wasn't the only unhappy customer under that roof. Not happy. Service needs much improvement. read more

The outside may look like a bar, but do yourself a favor and eat here! Extremely clean and super friendly, helpful staff. The bar is separate and it is seat yourself. It is Chicago style but the crust isn't super thick which is exactly what we wanted. The 10 in was perfect for my husband and I. Ordered the Rocky's Undisputed Corner Champ Pizza. It was OK. Having lived in Chicago I can say this isn't "true Chicago Style Pizza". Although it is deep dish it isn't the same crust you find in Chicago. Also in Chicago cheese is on the bottom and toppings on top. I also ordered the hot wings. Unlike most wings that are delivered they were not soggy and wet. Big wings very crispy but would be considered mild anywhere else I've been. Be sure to ask for extra hot seasoning. read more

We had a pretty disappointing visit tonight, after having a great experience here about 6 years ago. We ordered the pitcher of beer and pizza special. Even though there was a bag of ice in our pitcher, the beer was warm. We ordered the Papa Joe and the kids got a veggie with only black olives. We also ordered 2 small Rocky salads - very good! After 40 minutes we received our pizzas. We then realized we were given the wrong pizza. We didn't see our waitress for a while so we asked another which pizza it was and it was wrong. Our waitress agreed and said she could just give us the wrong one for $3. We didn't want that, it took about 15 minutes for the correct pizza which we asked for in a to go box but it wasn't. After trying to get it into the second pizza box (the first box they gave us was obviously used), we finally received our bill (no discount). Our waitress wouldn't make eye contact so we took it to the bar to pay. The pizza was good and we understand sometimes people have a bad day, but the service was really bad from the beginning. read more
