This store features traditional bikes, pedal assist bikes for all ages, and also purely electric throttle based bikes for small kids. Had only come to check out this bike shop along with the other shops in the area. I was immediately struck by the 80's pop culture artwork and the huge assortment of fun looking and unique bikes. Also a very cool 80's themed selection. The lineup is really an eclectic bunch of modernized classics. The color schemes and build quality of these bikes takes me back to summers past, riding bikes all day until the sun went down. They of course also have some electric bikes, and a huge wall of competitively priced accessories. This is really a store you can spend a lot of time browsing and find something neat to catch your fancy. The assortment is really unique, and also very well priced. I got hooked on some wheel accessories, and I was glad to take it home right then and there. The photos speak for themselves, but definitely come check this place out if you are looking for a bike for yourself or as a gift. There's lots of parking nearby, or right in front of the store.

**I walked out and bought somewhere else**…read more I recently drove over 5 hours round trip to see a 2022 Husqvarna FE 350 that was advertised as fully serviced and in great condition. I was told multiple times over the phone that it had received a full service, including an oil change, valve check, and new coolant. When I arrived, the hour reading was higher than quoted, and the shop owner, Dan, refused to provide any written record of the service he claimed had been done. I asked politely several times and was dismissed with, "What do you need it for anyway?" It's disappointing to be told one thing over the phone and then treated like I'm asking too much for simply trying to verify the work. This wasn't just an inconvenience -- it speaks to trust and integrity, which are critical in used powersports sales. Dan might claim that it doesn't work that way but I've purchased dozens of new and used bikes over the years and any dealer that refuses to give a maintenance record on a bike they sold new and then supposedly did a full service on gets a 10/10 on my sketch meter and I walked away. That said, I ended up buying a brand new bike from my local dealer, who gave me a great deal -- no BS, no power trip.

As a new rider, I was careful about where I took it, so I called around for quotes first. From that very first call, they were patient, transparent, and fair with their pricing, which gave me real confidence. When I brought the bike in, they exceeded everything I had heard. You can tell these aren't just mechanics--they truly understand all types of bikes at a high level. Learning that they have racing experience made it clear why their attention to detail and precision stands out so much. I had them do a full service, including front and rear tires, a chain realignment, and an oil change. They also helped me get a few other parts and accessories I needed, all at very reasonable prices. Everything was handled with care and professionalism. What impressed me most was how much they genuinely cared--not just about the bike, but about me as a rider. They took the time to explain things, made sure everything was done right, and sent me off feeling confident. After their work, the bike feels smoother, more responsive, and most importantly, safer. That peace of mind is huge for my first bike. It's rare to find people who take this much pride in their work and treat customers with real honesty and respect. I'm beyond happy with the results, and I'll definitely be bringing my bike back here after future trips as well. If you're in the Bay Area and need work on any type of bike, I strongly recommend checking them out--they truly care, and it shows.

LD Cycle recommended replacing tires and front brake caliper rebuild. Work approved and completed -Dec 2024 Drive belt failed during ride down the street from home. Only 26 miles driven since service work done at LD Cycle. -Called LD Cycle to report the issue. Explained what occurred and discussed my concerns with drive belt failure just taking a ride around the corner. LD suggested normal wear and tear, or rocks possibly got caught to cause failure. -At no point was I asked about my well-being. I asked what can be done to address my situation and LD Cycle said they would get back to me. No feedback for a week or so. -A friend recommended a reputable shop in the area. I explained what had happen to the shop owner and right away I was asked if I as OK and did anyone get injured. He offered to come pick up my HD in 2 days and he did so. -Shortly after he called and asked if I recently got new tires installed. His concerned was that the belt tensioner didn't seem to be adjusted which prevents drive belts to get loose. -When he called to let me know my HD was ready for pickup, he wanted to show me a few things when I got there. He said they had to tighten loose kickstand bolts, a taillight screw, and that my front brake switch failed. -Again, this is concerning because I just had the 5K service done at LD Cycle and these are more safety related issues that were overlooked. -After several attempts to get a hold of owner of LD cycle, I went to the shop. They said he wasn't around and that he would call me back. It was important to me to express my major safety concerns to the shop owner. The owner and I spoke later that day, never was I asked about my well-being. -FACTS: 1) My original drive belt only had 30K on it. 2) My drive belt was working normal before bringing my HD in for service at LD Cycle. 3) There were no issues found with my drive belt during the 5K service at LD Cycle. 4) My drive belt failed within 26 miles of riding after a new tire was installed at LD Cycle. 5) I had loose kickstand bolts that was overlooked during my 5K service. 6) I have a front brake switch issue that was overlooked during my 5K service. 7) My HD issues are safety related.
