Frank has to be one of the must unassuming, unpretentious guys out there. He does masterful work and is clearly an artist and a craftsman, but he's also happy to do boring and mundane maintenance. I found Frank after having my bike sit for 5 years because I was too unmotivated to fix it myself & too leery of the repair shops I'd found in the past. Frank left a card on my co-worker's bike one afternoon while we were eating at a restaurant by his shop, so I decided to give him a call. I dropped my bike & parts off in the afternoon. While I was waiting for a ride home, Frank inspected the parts I dropped off (down to using a dial caliper to make sure they were the right thing), and found the problem wasn't what I thought it was, it was something appearing to be more terminal. He also talked me OUT of spending money on overpriced aftermarket parts (which he said he could have sold me at a profit) and told me to go OEM, because they'd work better. While I mentally prepared to have to spend big $, I teased Frank about getting it done that day and calling me late at night to pick it up. Sure enough, before sundown Frank called - bike was done, he'd worked around the problems he found and it was good as new. Who can't love a guy who is extremely hospitable, over-delivers, beats schedules and is dead honest - all at a very fair price! I rarely find mechanics I trust to recommend anyone to. I called Frank on a weekend (Saturday I think) told him I had a flat on my bike (Harley) and he quickly ordered the tire I wanted (a specific style) had it Monday and I rode on. He also went the extra mile and cleaned and smoothed out the metal burrs in my wheel that were causing the leak in my tire and although harleys are not his choice of bikes to work on (he's more into sport bikes) he did so happily instead of turning me away. He quickly makes you feel like you've known him for years. I'd go to Frank every time for any concerns on my bike, he provides great service and you can tell he's passionate about his work. Frank is a great guy! He is very helpful and has a lot of knowledge about street bikes. I took my k6 gsxr 750 to get some sliders installed over the weekend. I gave him the key to my bike he took it in the back about 20 minutes later. Im back on the streets again. He tightened up my clutch whipped the bike down and other miscellaneous things. It's hard to find an honest worker these days, especially in this business when the economy is hurting...and even when it's not hurting. Frank is the ONLY one I trust with my bike and the ONLY one I suggest to people. He does amazing work, knows the ins and outs of every bike I've ever heard of (and then some), meticulous, precise, systematic, clean, respectful and at the upmost trustworthy. He doesn't BS around - he gets things done and doesn't waste a minute of time doing it. You feel like you're his top priority, and the timeliness and speed at which he completes things - proves it. From oil changes, maintenance, tire changes, repairs, custom work, accessories, gear and now offering completely maintained bike storage???...you name it, you got it! There is absolutely nothing this guy won't do for you...unless it involves Harley's lol :) - but even then...he will help you find a trustworthy place to take it. No one likes to have their bike sitting around, or dwelling about how much it's going to cost to fix it, let alone finding someone you trust that's not going to screw you over, BS you and charge you more than what's needed. Frank will never do that - ever. He will tell you if you're wasting your money or doing something pointless and/or stupid. He is 100% honest and blunt with you, even if it's not what you want to hear. But trust him. Recently was disappointed. Not a true motorcycle mechanic. He's a nice guy and funny but when it comes to truly working on bikes this is not the place. I took my bike to him with a failing clutch. $300 dollars later I got my bike back in same broken condition and couldn't go back because he closed his shop. I took it to a real mechanic and was given paperwork and shown all my broken parts to my clutch not to mention he pointed out the fact that my brand new battery was leaking which Frank installed. I got a replacement from Frank which he left outside for me to pickup because his shop is open at his convenient hours. Long story short, clutch got fixed and battery packed and installed correctly. Bike was brand new. Sorry but I'm keeping this real. Any real work needed take it elsewhere. Need an oil change or tire or even a wash then this might be your place. read more

He changed two tires, did a free chain cleaning, topped off my oil, and wiped off all the road grime/bug guts on my plastics while he waited for me to pick up my rc51. All in less than 60 minutes. There are plenty of "wolves" in our area of Fairfield and Vacaville. It is very hard to find an honest mechanic who works on sport bikes. I am treated not as a customer but like someone that shares the same passion he does and he treats all of my motorcycles like his own. Came in, Frank adjusted my brake lever (had air) lubed all the points, checked and added air to my tires, cleaned my chain, added a missing clip ,all for the same price! I went to Xtreme Cyclez with a buddy that introduced me to Frank. I just moved to town and needed to find a mechanic for my bikes. He seemed friendly however I was shocked that he was very comfortable using the word "nigger" as he complained to us and other people who were there about some of his black customers. There was a mention of Mexicans too but I walked outside at that point because my wife is black. My buddys wife is Hispanic so that was awkward for him too.
