We ordered the fried clam strips/ fries in a basket and the fried shrimp/fries in a basket. Both orders were really delicious and nice portions. My wife had the shrimp, 7 jumbo shrimp fried nice and crispy served with tartar sauce and cocktail sauce. My clam strips were awesome. We first stopped at whalers, I was craving the clam strips. We had the fluke fish tacos that were some of the best fish tacos I've ever tried, as well as their seasonal special - buffalo chicken soft shell crab (soft shell crab fried like buffalo chicken nuggets, that include a side of buffalo sauce). The food was excellent! We went on a Saturday night and they had live music. The place wasn't overly crowded and it was a really great for a summer date. I definitely recommend checking out the Station Bar if you're in the area, or even taking the ride just to enjoy some fresh seafood and a couple of beers while sitting on the canal.

We paid through the restaurant's QR code system, received confirmation, and left. In the parking lot, our waitress and another employee followed my wife and accused us of not paying. She showed them the payment confirmation, but they still questioned her and asked her to take a picture of it. They caused a scene, leaving her embarrassed and harassed. The food and service weren't much better. Three out of four glasses had lipstick marks, and every plate had visible food residue. I contacted the restaurant afterward, but they never responded or acknowledged my message. We came for a nice family meal and left feeling upset and embarrassed. Completely unacceptable.

The place was pretty packed but I was able to get a table by the water with a view of the bay and marina. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. The food arrived hot and nicely arranged. The main entree I selected was the "Long Island Monkfish" for 34$. The price was more than expected for the quantity of food and they should have included some bread - very much needed with the spicy vinaigrette. The monkfish was absolutely delicious! The leeks and gnocchi went perfectly with the fish. I read online that the Branzino is really good here. I really wanted to try the Branzino but they ran out of it. Before I left, I went to the restroom. They have two stalls so there was a bit of wait. The main area is open with sinks, soap and a Dyson dryer - no paper towels. The stalls are clean with ample space. While waiting, I chatted with the other people who had been to the Rose wine soirée earlier. They said it was great - unlimited rose wine plus appetizers at the beginning, including lobster rolls. Tickets were 60$ all inclusive. They had a DJ and small outdoor dance floor and it was almost all women. That's not a surprise - rose wine events tend to attract more women than men. I'm not sure why, maybe because rose wine is pink or the invite appeals more to a female audience.

Topped with garlic, parmesan and sriracha, the sauce that comes off of these bad boys gets soaked up with the focaccia its served with. Honestly one of the best things I've ever eaten. We also had fried calamari which was solid. For mains, I had the veal Milanese which was perfectly cooked. Crispy, topped with fresh tomatoes and arugula plus shaved parmesan. My brother had the lobster pasta which I tried and was out of this world. The shitake mushrooms in this dish really add a depth of flavor you don't normally find in a lobster pasta. I haven't stopped thinking about those oysters and will absolutely be back. Everything in the Hamptons is expensive, but this place is where you want to spend your money.
